Definitions

  • the invention relates to a lock for a motor vehicle having the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • a lock for a motor vehicle includes a locking mechanism with a rotatably mounted rotary latch for receiving a locking bolt, which is also called lock holder.
  • the locking mechanism further has a pawl with which the catch can be latched for holding the locking bolt.
  • the catch of a motor vehicle lock usually has a bifurcated inlet slot formed by load arm and catching arm (also called infeed mouth) into which the locking bolt of a vehicle door or flap, for example bonnet or boot lid, arrives when the door or flap is closed.
  • load arm and catching arm also called infeed mouth
  • the locking pin or lock holder then rotates the catch from an open position towards the closed position until the pawl locks the catch. This position is called detent position.
  • the locking bolt can then not leave the inlet slot of the rotary latch.
  • a lock may also include a blocking lever capable of blocking the pawl in its detent position.
  • the blockage lever must be pivoted out of its blocking position or turned out so that the pawl can leave its locking position for opening the locking mechanism.
  • the pre-detent position serves to intercept the corresponding door or flap if it does not reach the main detent position when closing. If the rotary latch is rotated further starting from the pre-latching position, this finally reaches the main latching position.
  • a lock basically has a release lever that is operated to open or unlatch a ratchet.
  • a trigger lever is typically connected to a handle of a door or flap. If the handle is pressed, the release lever is actuated or pivoted to detent the lock and thus open the lock.
  • the handle can be operated unscheduled, which would lead to an opening of the locking mechanism. It should be ensured that such a lock then does not open unplanned.
  • a lock provided with a locking mechanism, which comprises at least one actuating lever for triggering or opening the locking mechanism, that is, a release lever.
  • the lock further includes a locking lever which blocks the operating lever at predetermined vehicle accelerations.
  • US 2010/237633 A1 discloses a locking device for a handle assembly of a motor vehicle door in which an inertia lever is pressed by a spring in a locking position.
  • the publication DE 10 2011 010816 A1 discloses a motor vehicle door latch equipped with a ratchet and an operating lever mechanism operating on the ratchet with a release lever and with a locking lever.
  • the locking lever blocks the ratchet at least when occurring acceleration forces of predetermined size, for example in an accident or crash case.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a lock in which an unplanned opening is avoided in the event of a crash.
  • a lock is provided with a locking mechanism, which comprises a rotary latch and a pawl for locking the rotary latch.
  • the lock further includes a blocking lever which is capable of blocking the pawl when in its latching position.
  • the lap may comprise a Vorrastsperrklinke, which may be basically identical or integral with the release lever.
  • the blockage lever When the release lever is actuated, the blockage lever is thereby moved out of its blocking position, if not accelerated excessively.
  • the excessive acceleration preferably refers to the release lever of the lock.
  • the lock can also be such that an excessively strong acceleration of the handle of an associated door or flap is turned off and in Depending on this acceleration, the locking device allows or prevents opening.
  • the pawl can be moved out of its detent position directly by the release lever.
  • This embodiment usually does not include a blocking lever for blocking a pawl.
  • the lock mechanism of the lock prevents the lock from opening unscheduledly.
  • the locking device prevents the release lever is able to move a blocking lever of the lock, which is able to block a pawl in its locked position, out of its blocking position out. Therefore, the lock can not open, for example, in the event of a crash, the release lever and / or an associated handle a door or flap are accelerated accordingly strong.
  • the locking device comprises at least two locking positions. Is the locking device in a first blocking position, for example due to an excessively accelerated release lever, in particular caused by an impact in a crash, and releases the locking device from the first locking position, for example due to a rebound, in particular delayed and / or repeated rebound
  • the locking device can continue to avoid by taking a second or further blocking position that the locking mechanism opens, so in one embodiment, the release lever moves the blocking lever out of its blocking position.
  • the locking device comprises an inertia lever and a locking lever.
  • Inertial lever and locking lever are interconnected so that the inertia lever is moved together with the locking lever only by operating the trigger lever or by operating a handle of a door or flap when the trigger lever is accelerated in a conventional manner, as in a conventional operation of the door handle the case is so not overly accelerated.
  • the joint movement of the inertia lever and locking lever takes place in such a way that the locking lever can not prevent the opening of the locking mechanism.
  • the handle and associated trip lever are generally not excessively accelerated.
  • the inertia lever and locking lever are connected to each other so that when the release lever or strongly accelerated door or flap handle, as is possible in a crash, due to the inertia of the inertia lever only the locking lever is moved in one of the blocking positions of the locking device , which blocks further pivoting of the release lever or the handle such that an opening of the locking mechanism is avoided.
  • the locking means comprises a spring which interconnects the inertia lever and the lock lever so that the inertia lever can only be moved together with the lock lever by operating the release lever or by operating the handle when the release lever or handle is accelerated in a conventional manner.
  • One leg of the spring is connected in one embodiment of the invention with the inertia lever. Such a connection is in particular present when the leg of the spring is preferably biased against a contour of the inertia lever.
  • Another leg of the spring is connected to the locking lever. Such a connection is present in particular when the leg of the spring preferably biased rests against a contour of the locking lever. At low accelerations, the spring acts as a rigid connection between the locking lever and the inertia lever. At low accelerations therefore locking lever and inertia lever are moved together by pressing the release lever or handle for opening the locking mechanism.
  • the spring is deformed so that only the locking lever is moved, but not the inertia lever.
  • the spring is further biased at a correspondingly strong acceleration. If the locking lever is moved independently of the inertia lever, then the locking lever then enters its locking position. In the blocking position, it is prevented that the release lever or handle can be further rotated in such a way that this causes an opening of the locking mechanism.
  • the locking lever comprises a driver that can be moved by the release lever for moving the locking lever. If the release lever is actuated, the driver and thus the locking lever are moved.
  • the catch of the locking lever passes through a slot of the inertia lever, so as to allow a relative movement between the locking lever and the inertia lever.
  • the mass of the inertia lever is several times greater than the mass of the locking lever so as to achieve reliable, that the inertia lever is moved only at low accelerations of the release lever.
  • the mass of the inertia lever is two times, preferably three times, more preferably four times greater than the mass of the locking lever.
  • the lock has a locking contour, which is preferably rigidly connected to a lock case of the castle.
  • the locking contour serves to lock the locking lever when the trigger lever and / or handle is excessively accelerated. If the locking lever is locked by the locking contour and thus is in a blocking position, the release lever or handle can not be further rotated so that thereby the locking mechanism is opened.
  • the locking contour is arranged flat against the inner wall of the lock case to transmit the impact forces in the attack of the locking lever to the locking contour on the lock case.
  • the blocking contour can be dimensioned so small.
  • the locking lever is connected to the inertia lever so that a projection of the locking lever adjacent to the outer contour of the inertia lever at not excessive acceleration of the trigger lever or handle, to that portion of the outer contour of the inertia lever, which when pivoting for opening a still locked in locking position locking the locking contour faces and / or maximum distance from the axis of the inertia lever has. Due to the small distance between Locking lever and locking contour with locked locking mechanism, a particularly rapid locking of the locking mechanism by the locking device in the event of a crash and rebound can be effected.
  • the locking contour has an arc whose center corresponds to the axis of the inertia lever.
  • the radius of the arc is greater by a gap width than the maximum distance of the outer contour of the inertia lever from the axis thereof. Due to the small distance between locking lever and locking contour with locked locking mechanism, a particularly rapid locking of the locking mechanism by the locking device in the event of a crash and rebound can be effected.
  • the locking lever at the one end has a projection which faces radially outward with respect to the axis of the inertia lever. If the locking lever is moved relative to the inertia lever due to excessive acceleration of the release lever and / or handle, so the projection in the direction of the locking contour or is facing the locking contour and ensures that the locking lever is held securely in a locking position in the locking contour , This helps to provide a plurality of blocking positions in a technically simple manner.
  • the locking contour comprises a stop and / or at least one recess for locking the locking lever when the trigger lever and / or handle is excessively accelerated.
  • the recess or the recesses are preferably arranged counter to the clockwise starting from the stop in the circumferential direction of the inertia lever.
  • a blocking position of the locking device or the locking lever can be determined by the stop or the recess or recesses.
  • Setting a blocking position by, for example, a stop or a recess means that a blocking position is then occupied by the locking device when the stop or the recess by blocking or blocking the locking lever are able to prevent unscheduled opening of the lock.
  • a recess which is preferably arranged in the circumferential direction of the inertia lever counterclockwise, allows a renewed locking or locking of the locking lever and thus avoiding an unplanned opening of the locking mechanism, even in the case of rebound effects.
  • a recess of the locking contour is formed triangular. Due to the triangular configuration of a recesses a self-centering when locking the projection of the locking lever is effected in the recess and allows a particularly high reliability of the locking device.
  • the locking lever has a triangular-shaped projection with bevels on both sides, wherein the counter-clockwise slope has a smaller pitch than the other opposite slope of the projection, which is arranged in a clockwise direction about the axis of the locking lever. Due to the different slopes of the slopes of the projection, a particularly secure hold of the locking device or the projection of the locking lever in the blocking positions can be effected in the event of a crash.
  • a recess of the locking contour is adapted to the projection of the locking lever in the locking position, which is defined by the recess.
  • this adjustment takes place in the overlapping area.
  • such an adjustment includes the slopes of the slopes of the projection of the locking lever with a.
  • the stop comprises a slope of the locking contour, which is substantially parallel to the slope of the projection of the locking lever in the locking position, which can come in case of locking of the locking mechanism by the locking means with the stop in contact. Due to the substantially parallel shaped bevels can be made smaller by the flat power receiving the stop and the projection.
  • the axis of the locking lever is disposed on the projection opposite end of the locking lever. Due to the arrangement of the axis in preferably the greatest possible distance from the projection, a particularly large pivoting of the projection of the locking lever when actuated by the lever arm of the release lever can be realized and thanks to the thus obtained overlap of the projection in the locking contour a particularly secure hold of the locking device are effected in the blocking position ,
  • the invention is based on FIGS. 1 to 4 explained in more detail.
  • the FIG. 1 shows a particular metal lock case 1 of a castle that serves to support a Gesperres.
  • the ratchet comprises a rotatably mounted, preferably predominantly made of metal rotary latch 2, which can be rotated about its axis 3 around.
  • the locking mechanism also comprises a main latching pawl 4, preferably made predominantly of metal, and a pre-ratchet pawl 5, which is preferably made predominantly of metal.
  • the main catch pawl 4 and the Vorrastsperrklinke 5 are arranged one above the other and have a common axis of rotation 6, so that the two pawls 4 and 5 can be rotated independently.
  • the ratchet further comprises a blocking lever 7, as in the FIG. 1 shown the main latch pawl 4 is able to block in the illustrated locked position of the locking mechanism.
  • the catch 2, the main catch pawl 4 and the blocking lever 7 are located substantially in a common plane. In a higher level there is the Vorrastsperrklinke 5.
  • FIG. 1 a major part of the main catch pawl 4 is covered by the Vorrastsperrklinke 5, in particular the part of the Haupttrastsperrklinke 4, which locks the catch 2.
  • the rotary latch 2 In order to lock the catch 2 in the pre-locking position, the rotary latch 2 has a protruding pin 8 which can be moved against the lever arm 9 of the Vorrastsperrklinke 5 for locking in the pre-locking position. The end of the lever arm 9 then prevents clockwise rotation of the rotary latch 2 in the direction of its open position.
  • the rotary latch 2 is able to initiate an opening moment in the main latching pawl 4. If the blocking lever 7 leaves its blocking position, then the main latching pawl 4 moves out of its rest position due to the opening moment introduced. The catch 2 can then moved to its open position by rotating about its axis 3 in a clockwise direction.
  • the Vorrastsperrklinke 5 also represents the release lever of the lock. If the release lever 5 is rotated clockwise and thus actuated, so a projection 10 of the Vorrastsperrklinke 5 detects a driver 11 of the blocking lever 7 and thus turns the blocking lever 7 out of its blocking position when the Vorrastsperrklinke 5 or the trigger lever 5 is not excessively accelerated.
  • the end of a lever arm 12 of the release lever 5 moves a driver 13 in the FIG. 1 concealed locking lever 21 a locking device.
  • the locking lever 21 is rotatably connected by an axle 14 with an inertia lever 15. Under the inertia lever 15, the locking lever 21 is arranged.
  • the driver 13 extends through a slot 16 of the inertia lever 15 and is detected above the inertial lever 15 by the lever arm 12 of the release lever 5.
  • the locking lever 21 is pivoted about its axis 14 in the clockwise direction, but not the inertia lever 15 about its axis 17. This is among other reasons, because the driver 13 of the locking lever 21 extends through the slot 16 which allows a relative movement between the locking lever 21 and the inertia lever 15.
  • One end of the locking lever 21 passes in excessive acceleration so in one of the locking positions (25, 26, 27), which is effected by a rigidly attached to the lock case 1 locking contour 18. This prevents that the release lever 5 can be further rotated clockwise for a move out of the blocking lever 7 from its blocking position. It is thus avoided that the blocking lever 7 from its blocking position for opening the locking out is moved by turning the blocking lever 7 about its axis 19th
  • the blocking contour 18 comprises a stop 25 and the recesses 26 and 27, by which the blocking positions (25, 26, 27) of the locking device or the locking lever 21 are fixed.
  • the locking lever 21 has a triangular projection 28 with bevels on both sides, wherein the counterclockwise inclined 29 has a smaller pitch than the other, opposite slope of the projection, which is arranged in a clockwise direction about the axis 14.
  • the stop 25 is formed as a slope of the locking contour 18, which is substantially parallel to the slope 29 of the projection 28 of the locking lever 21 in the locking position. When locking the locking mechanism by the locking device, the slope 29 can come into contact with the stop 25.
  • the recesses 26 and 27 are triangular in shape, wherein the contour of the recesses (26 and 27) to the projection 28 of the locking lever 21 in the locking position, which is determined by the respective recess (26 and 27), adapted.
  • the inertia lever 15 comprises at the lower end a gap 20 which serves to connect to a leg 22 of a spring 23.
  • the leg 22 of the spring 23 then extends into this gap 20.
  • the Figures 2 and 3 clarify the structure and function of the locking device in the case of a conventional opening of the lock.
  • FIG. 2 shows the initial situation when the locking mechanism is locked.
  • the locking lever 21 Below the inertia lever 15 is the locking lever 21.
  • a leg 22 of the prestressed spring 23 is located in the gap 20 and is thus connected to the inertia lever 15.
  • the spring 23 is also under the inertia lever 15 and is guided around the axis 17 around.
  • the axis 17 thus contributes to the holding of the spring 23.
  • the other leg 24 of the spring 23 is connected to the locking lever 21.
  • the leg 24 is biased on a lateral contour, for example on a downwardly extending projection of the locking lever 21.
  • the spring 23 acts as a rigid connection between the locking lever 21 and the inertia lever 15. Turning the release lever 5 in the clockwise direction then causes in that the driver 13 of the blocking lever 21 is moved to the left. As a result, the inertia lever 15 rotates together with the locking lever 21 about its axis 17 counterclockwise. The locking lever 21 then does not get into one of the blocking positions (25, 26, 27). By turning the release lever 5 clockwise, the blocking lever 7 can be moved out of its blocking position. Then the locking mechanism opens.
  • FIG. 4 shows the case when the release lever 5, starting from in the FIG. 2 situation has been excessively accelerated. Due to the comparatively large mass of the inertia lever 15 in comparison to the locking lever 21, the inertia lever 15 is no longer rotated counterclockwise about its axis 17. Instead, the leg 24 is deflected. The locking lever 21 is now rotated about its axis 14 in a clockwise direction and moved into its blocking position 25, which in the FIG. 4 is shown.
  • the blocking position 25 is reached when the end 28 of the locking lever 21 covers the stop 25, so that the inertia lever 15 can not be rotated counterclockwise.
  • the blocking position 25 is thus also taken when the end 28 of the locking lever 21, although the stopper 25 covers, but this does not affect, as in FIG. 4 displayed.
  • the blocking contour 18 now prevents the trigger lever 5 can be rotated so far about its axis 6 in the clockwise direction that thereby the blocking lever 7 is moved out of its blocking position.
