Abstract

La présente invention concerne un carter pour un ventilateur (1) ou une soufflante, en particulier un ventilateur axial, comprenant une paroi annulaire (2) qui entoure un canal d'écoulement (3) comprenant une ouverture d'entrée (4) et une ouverture de sortie (6). Le canal d'écoulement (3) présente une section transversale circulaire dans un plan perpendiculaire à un axe longitudinal central (X-X) ainsi qu'un support (7) pour un moteur électrique (8) du ventilateur (1) à l'intérieur du canal d'écoulement (3). Le canal d'écoulement (3) a une première partie cylindrique (9) adjacente à l'ouverture d'entrée (4) ainsi qu'une deuxième partie tronconique (11) qui y fait suite avec sa petite surface tronconique et s'élargit en direction de l'ouverture de sortie (6). Le support (7) est constitué de plusieurs étais (12) qui sont fixés par une extrémité à la deuxième partie tronconique (11), s'étendent d'une surface périphérique intérieure de la partie tronconique (11) en direction de l'axe longitudinal (X-X) et présentent à leur autre extrémité intérieure des parties de support pour le moteur électrique (8).
