Ensuite, l'extrémité (15) du conducteur central (2) du câble est déformée au moyen d'un dispositif de rétreint rotatif (9) pourvu de plusieurs mâchoires (10) qui sont montées rotatives dans le sens circonférentiel autour d'un axe de rotation (11) et qui peuvent être déplacées dans la direction radiale pour ainsi effectuer un martelage et qui comportent chacune au moins une surface active (14).
