  • This saving and changing a Giant has the advantage that after resuming the detachable part on a stationary part in a subsequent comparison of the filling feature stored in the removable part, the actual filling identifier, with one of the refill station when refilling the reservoir to the database transmitted amended Fill ID, the target fill ID, can be checked to see if they are the same. If this is not the case, an error has occurred, for example, the target fill ID and with it the data of the new fill of the reservoir not properly transferred to the database. Then, the controller of the dispensing machine knows that it may not use the data contained in the database (obsolete) on the drug portions contained in the reservoir.

This allows a spatially close arrangement of the reading device and the information memory, which reduces the power consumption during reading. If the reading device and the information memory each have receiving or transmitting devices for wireless communication, the spatially closely adjacent arrangement allows very low ranges and transmission powers, which reduces the risk of mutual interference between adjacent storage and dosing stations and energy consumption.
