Definitions

  • the invention relates to a machine for deburring preferably flat workpieces, in particular sheet metal parts
  • Deburring machines with horizontally circulating belts which carry a large number of juxtaposed brushes as a grinding stock.
  • These brushes preferably consist of a fan-like package of sandpaper and / or abrasive fleece.
  • the workpiece to be deburred is fed transversely to the direction of movement of the brushes.
  • the edges of the abrasive papers or abrasive nonwoven cross over the feed direction of the workpiece over its surface and thereby remove the protruding burrs.
  • Important is a certain flexibility of the brushes, so that they can penetrate a little way into the cut-out recesses.
  • the cleaning belt is formed as a brush belt provided with bristles which extend perpendicular to the cleaning plane.
  • the brush belt consists of an inner band and an outer band, which is divided by slots or notches into individual segments, from which the bristles each protrude in the form of a tuft.
  • EP 1 910 024 B1 describes a device for removing the oxide layer from cut surfaces and / or cut edges of a workpiece and for deburring the edges.
  • the workpiece is carried out or pulled through between upper and lower conveyors transversely to the direction of rotation of the conveyors.
  • the processing elements are arranged on a belt, which may be formed as a V-belt.
  • a plurality of processing elements is mounted side by side or one behind the other on the outside of the V-belt, for example by means of a fastening screw.
  • the processing elements can either be provided with bristles, which resemble a scrubby brush or a tuft, or be designed as abrasive papers, wherein between the abrasive papers support elements are arranged.
  • the processing units can also be screwed, glued, potted, punched or welded to the V-belt.
  • WO 2004/039536 A1 describes a device for processing a strip-shaped or plate-shaped metallic workpiece, in particular for removing the oxide layer from cut surfaces and / or cut edges of the workpiece. It is provided a conveyor, which brush passes approximately linearly in the region of the workpiece to be machined.
  • the conveyor comprises a V-belt made of rubber and / or plastic or synthetic rubber.
  • On the V-belt preferably made of rubber or plastic carrier for the brushes are screwed, riveted, glued, welded or clipped. An attachment of the brushes by clipping would require a hard, less flexible V-belt. There is also the risk that theRockiipsten carrier dissolved during operation of the V-belt.
  • the problem underlying the invention is therefore, in a machine with the features of the preamble of claim 1, the wear-resistant machining units so releasably fasten to the or the rotating belt that a quick and easy replacement is possible that the holder Withstand the high mechanical stresses during operation, and that especially the wear parts are inexpensive to produce.
  • special brush holders are attached to the endless circulating drive belt, which have a tab.
  • the actual brush holder, which carry the sanding, are positively pushed onto the tabs of the brush holder and lock in their final position automatically.
  • the brush holder are formed as a flat L-shaped mounting bracket, one leg is firmly connected to the drive belt and the other leg is angled outwards, preferably approximately at right angles. The free end of the angled leg forms the insertion flap.
  • the brush holders can simply be pushed onto the brush holders by hand. No tools are necessary for the assembly, in particular no screws have to be loosened and tightened again. Due to the positive connection between the brush holder and brush holder and the automatic latching sit the brush holder firmly and securely on the brush holders and can not loosen or even solve during operation. To disassemble, simply release the catch and then remove the brush holder from the tab of the brush holder. The replacement of the brushes therefore requires only a fraction of the time compared to conventional machines with screwed or otherwise fastened processing elements. By eliminating additional fasteners such as particular screws, nuts or threads especially the brush holder can be produced inexpensively as a disposable item.
  • the brush holder designed as a fastening angle in the region of the bend has a recess which forms a latching edge, and the brush holder on a resilient latching tongue, which passes through the recess of the brush holder when pushed and engages behind the locking edge when reaching the end position.
  • a resilient latching tongue has the advantage that it easily and safely automatically engages due to the spring action, as soon as the corresponding locking edge is engaged behind. Conversely, such a latching tongue can very easily be unlatched again by being pressed against the spring force in order to release the rear grip of the latching edge and thereby make it possible to easily pull the brush holder away from the brush holder.
  • the edge of the recess of the mounting bracket forms a latching nose
  • the latching tongue has a recess into which this latching nose snaps when reaching the end position.
  • the locking edge is in this case a trailing edge of the latch.
  • other locking means such as notches, projections, wedges or spring-loaded elements conceivable by means of which the brush holder locked on reaching the final position on the mounting bracket on a daily basis.
  • the release of the latching is facilitated if the free resilient end of the latching tongue has a pressure surface which can be pressed with one or two fingers to bend the latching tongue by a sufficient amount.
  • the brush holder advantageously has a base plate with a substantially flat underside, on which the wear underlying grit is applied.
  • the underside may have a circumferential raised edge.
  • the abrasive stock preferably consists of a package of abrasive papers and / or abrasive webs. These can be glued well on the flat bottom to form a brush with the brush holder.
  • Such brushes have the advantage over flat abrasives such as sanding blocks that they are flexible and thus can penetrate a little way into recesses of the workpiece to remove bothersome burrs not only at the top and bottom of the workpiece, but also the edges of the Fillet recesses or holes.
  • the brush holder is integrally made of plastic, for example by injection molding.
  • the brush holder is not only very inexpensive to manufacture, but also has a number of other advantageous properties:
  • the positive connection between brush holder and brush holder can be optimally realized when the brush holder is made of plastic, the L-shaped brush holder, however, made of metal. Due to the limited compliance and elasticity of the plastic, a firm fit of the brush holder on the brush holder is guaranteed even if both parts have been manufactured with tolerance. Above all, plastic slides well on metal, so that both the plugging as well as the removal of the brush holder on or from the brush holder no problems. After all, complicated shapes can be easily realized in injection-molded plastic.
  • the brush holder on two retaining profiles, which are formed on the base plate and extending in the direction of extension.
  • the retaining profiles form slot slots facing each other to receive the edges of the tab.
  • Both the slot slots for receiving the plug-in tab and the resilient latching tongue can be formed very well by injection molding, so that overall a precise and stable molded part can be produced inexpensively. If the sanding stock, so the package of abrasive papers and / or abrasive fleece worn, just the entire brush unit including the brush holder can be replaced.
  • the one-time use of the brush holder is in terms of cost barely in the weight, but has the advantage that the crucial for mechanical reliability connection between the brush holder and brush holder is made by a brand new part.
  • FIG. 1 is to be seen only the essential part of a deburring machine, as far as they are essential for the understanding of the invention.
  • Two processing units 1 a and 1 b are arranged in parallel and at a defined distance, depending on the thickness of the part to be machined, one above the other.
  • Each of the two processing units 1a and 1b has a plurality of brushes arranged side by side.
  • a sheet metal part 2, which is to be deburred, is passed perpendicular to the plane between the two processing units 1 a and 1 b. At the same time the brushes are moved transversely to the feed direction.
  • the brushes of the upper processing unit 1a stroke over the top of the sheet metal part 2, while at the same time the brushes of the lower processing unit 1b deburr the underside of the sheet metal part 2.
  • FIG. 2 indicates that the brushes of the two processing units 1a, 1b sit on a drive belt 3.
  • the drive belt 3 is endless and runs between two pulleys, wherein in FIG. 2 only the right pulley 4 can be seen.
  • the machine is driven by a - not shown here - electric drive, which sets the pulley 4 in rotation. Since the drive belt 3 is elastic and is put on the pulley 4 with tension, the rotation of the pulley 4 is transmitted to the drive belt 3.
  • narrow brush holders 5 are mounted on the outside of the drive belt 3.
  • the brush holder 5 carry the brushes, which consist of a brush holder 6 and a sanding 7.
  • the brushes move substantially transversely to the feed direction of the sheet metal part 3 (see. FIG. 1 ), here parallel to the drawing plane.
  • FIGS. 3a and 3b let details of a brush holder 5 and the associated brush holder 6 with sanding 7 recognize.
  • FIG. 4 lets the profile of the brush holder 5 recognize, whereas the following Figures 5 and 5b reveal more details of the brush holder 6.
  • the brush holder 5 are made of steel strip and are formed as an L-shaped bent bracket 8.
  • the long leg 9a and the short leg 9b form an angle of slightly less than 90 degrees (see. FIG. 4 ).
  • the free end of the short leg 9b forms a plug-in flap 10 with rounded corners.
  • the long leg 9a has mounting holes 11, with the help of the bracket 8 on the drive belt 3 ( FIG. 2 ) can be screwed.
  • a rectangular recess 12 is provided in the area of the bend.
  • the edge of the recess 12 forms a latching nose 13, which points downward.
  • the brush holder 6 has the basic shape of a rectangular parallelepiped with a rectangular base plate 14. At the bottom of the base plate 14 of the sanding 7 is applied.
  • the grinding stock 7 consists of a package of abrasive papers 15, between each of which a support web 16 is arranged. This package forms a kind of brush, which in the transverse direction - in FIG. 3b perpendicular to the drawing plane - has a certain flexibility.
  • the abrasive papers 15 and the backing webs 16 are glued with their upper edges on the flat bottom of the base plate 14. A protruding circumferential edge 17 stabilizes the package and supports the bond.
  • the base plate 14 carries on its upper side two holding profiles 18a, 18b. These extend parallel to the narrow sides of the base plate 14 and have in cross section the basic shape of L.
  • the holding profiles 18a, 18b form to the right and left open slots 19a, 19b, which face each other.
  • the holding profiles 18a, 18b further comprise downwardly, to the base plate 14 facing clamping webs 20a, 20b.
  • wedge surfaces 21 a, 21 b are provided on the upper side of the base plate 14 .
  • a latching tongue 22 is formed on the base plate 14. This is cantilevered between the holding profiles 18a, 18b (see. Fig. 5b ).
  • the latching tongue 22 has an approximately rectangular recess 23.
  • the width of the latching tongue 22 corresponds to the recess 12 of the brush holder 5; the width of the recess 23 corresponds to the width of the detent 13 ( FIG. 4 ).
  • flat pressure surfaces 24 are formed, which serve the depression by hand.
  • the brush holder 6 is aligned to the mounting bracket 8, that the groove slots 19a, 19b are aligned with the insertion tab 10 (see. FIG. 6 ). Then the brush holder 6 is pushed in the horizontal direction on the mounting bracket 8. The plug-in tab 10 penetrates into the slot slots 19a, 19b open at the front. In Figure 7a the brush holder 6 is about halfway pushed. Upon reaching the end position of the brush holder 6 automatically locked to the mounting bracket 8, in which the free resilient end of the latching tongue 22 passes through the recess 12 and the locking lug 13 wraps around ( FIG. 7b ). In this case, the end of the latching tongue 22 projects beyond the long leg 9a of the mounting bracket 8 (cf. FIG. 3b ).
