Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de suralimentation (1), en particulier un turbocompresseur à gaz d'échappement (1), de préférence d'un moteur à combustion interne, le système de suralimentation (1) comprenant un compresseur (3) placé dans un carter de compresseur (2). Une réduction du coût de fabrication et un allongement de la durée de vie du carter de compresseur (2) et, par conséquent, du système de suralimentation (1) sont obtenus par le fait que le carter de compresseur (2) est réalisé sous la forme d'une pièce composite et comprend au moins deux parties (13, 14) reliées l'une à l'autre, au moins l'une des parties (13, 14) étant réalisée en une matière plastique et au moins l'une des parties (13, 14) étant réalisée en un matériau métallique. L'invention concerne également un tel carter de compresseur (2) pour un système de suralimentation (1), en particulier un turbocompresseur à gaz d'échappement (1), de préférence d'un moteur à combustion interne.
