Description

Technisches GebietTechnical area

The present invention relates to a multilayer wall of, for example, a building. The invention is particularly concerned with the addition of another layer to an existing wall layer, thereby improving the thermal insulation properties, the weather protection, etc. of the wall.

From the DE 20 2011 106 987 an outer wall arrangement is known in which an additional or complementary wall layer is bricked up on an inner side of the outer wall directly on the already existing false ceiling or floor slab and supported there. It is also possible to pre-wall the additional brick wall layer not only on the inside of the existing wall, but this can also be pre-walled on the outside of the existing wall. For this purpose, however, it is necessary that a solid floor slab or false ceiling is present or a bracket angle or foundation for supporting the vorzumauernden brick wall layer is attached to the existing wall. The provision of this floor plate is not only time and labor intensive, but it also incur additional costs.

Furthermore, the attachment of this support is very difficult, especially in the area of larger window openings (i.e., directly above the window), and insulation in such areas can often not be realized by an additional brick wall layer.

Further prior art can be found in the following documents. In US 4,920,716 describes a method for installing facing bricks on a surface of a building exterior wall, this being Fixing method uses a wire mesh layer with protruding ribs, between which by means of mortar, the bricks are attached to the facade.

US 2010/0107531 A1 describes a brick system in which a thin brick wall can be formed on an existing wall, this system comprising a receiving plate for the brick units, wherein in this plate channels are formed between which brick modules can be fixed by means of mortar.

In DE 20 2011 051 264 U1 describes a thermal insulation composite device for insulating a wall, wherein an insulating base body is constructed using a socket rail in front of an existing wall, wherein the insulating base body further comprises webs, between which receiving areas for a plurality of straps are formed.

The EP 2 154 310 A1 describes a mounting adherend for coating a back side of a heavy building wallcovering panel containing mineral and organic binder and a filler. Further described therein is a building wallcovering panel having a coating of such primer and a building wallcovering formed of a plurality of such panels.

Finally, the US 3,486,280 a fixing system for tiles and stone slabs on an existing wall with mechanical anchoring structures incorporated into both the existing wall and the fixed slabs.

Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention

It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a multilayer wall in which it is possible to easily provide an additional brick wall layer on the inside and / or outside.

This object is achieved by a multilayer wall according to claim 1 or by a method for attaching an additional brick wall layer according to claim 4. Particularly advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

The invention is based on the idea to increase the heat insulation of an existing wall in the simplest and most cost-effective manner. Thus, in a multilayer wall according to claim 1, a plurality of bricks are adhered to an already existing wall such that an additional brick wall layer is formed on the inside and / or outside of the existing wall.

The term "existing wall" includes a wall that has been built for a long time, such as a wall of a building in need of renovation or renovation, and a (new) wall just built.

It should be noted that the additional brick wall layer does not have to be formed exclusively of bricks, but any type of substantially cuboid tile or insulating material can be used, which is pre-walled or anklebbar.

By adhering a plurality of bricks to an already existing wall, it is possible to form an additional brick wall layer on the inside and / or outside of the already existing wall without requiring a console to be erected in an elaborate manner, an angle, a floor slab , a false ceiling (like for example, a floor slab) or provide a foundation. In this way, the addition of an additional wall layer is much easier and also the working time required is significantly reduced, since time and cost for the construction of an additional support element, such as a console, an angle or a foundation can be saved.

According to one embodiment, the brick to be adhered is characterized in that it has a length of at least 250 mm, preferably 500 mm, a width of at least 80 mm and a height of at least 249 mm and a weight of at least 1.5 kg, preferably 3.0 kg. When using such bricks, which have a thermal conductivity of at most 0.065 W / mK, it is possible to pre-wall a stable brick wall layer, which has particularly good thermal insulation properties.

According to a further particularly preferred embodiment, a plaster layer can be arranged between the already existing wall and the additional brick wall layer, preferably before adhering the additional brick wall layer. In this way it is possible to compensate for any unevenness in the already existing wall prior to sticking the additional target facing layer. Thus, a better adhesive result can be obtained in the tiles to be bonded, so that the additional brick wall layer adheres particularly firmly to the existing wall.

In order to further enhance the adhesive effect of the adhered additional brick wall layer can according to an embodiment, which is not part of the invention, in a vertical plane to the existing wall fastening elements, in particular (wall) dowels be provided, which are arranged such that the individual Bricks of the brick wall layer is given an additional adhesive effect on the existing wall. This is especially useful if the extra
Brick wall layer is attached to the outside of the existing wall. In this way, it is particularly advantageous possible in the long term wind suction and wind loads and vertical loads that result from the weight of the additional brick wall layer and the optional layer of plaster to remove or absorb.

Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for attaching an additional brick wall layer in front of an already existing wall, wherein when attaching the additional brick wall layer bricks are glued to the inside and / or outside of the existing wall by means of an adhesive layer. This method allows bricks to be easily attached to an existing wall without the need for additional elements to support the bricks on the wall. In this way, the time required to attach an additional brick wall layer is substantially reduced.

According to one embodiment, no support element, in particular no console, no angle and no foundation, is provided in the method for the vertical support of the additional brick wall layer. In this way, the costs that would otherwise have to be incurred for this support element can be saved. Furthermore, the attachment of the additional support element requires much working time, which can thus be saved.

According to a further preferred embodiment of the method, a leveling layer, in particular a plaster layer, is applied to the already existing wall to compensate for unevenness of the already existing wall prior to the application of the adhesive layer. In this way, it is possible, especially in older existing walls, bumps, for example, by a warped or wavy masonry have arisen, compensate. Then, when the adhesive is applied, it can be easily and evenly applied to a substantially smooth surface. Furthermore, after application of the additional brick wall layer, the outwardly visible surface of the brick wall layer is improved, since any unevenness can not continue through the layers, but, as a result, a substantially smooth surface of the brick wall layer can be obtained.

Alternatively, instead of the leveling layer, the adhesive layer can be applied so thickly that any unevenness of the already existing wall layer is compensated. In this way, it is possible to save the time that would be required for the orders of the additional layer of plaster, by correspondingly thick applications of the adhesive layer.

Further, a part of the present disclosure, which is not part of the invention, relates to the use of a brick for adhering to an already existing wall in order to form an additional brick wall layer in front of an already existing wall, in particular on its inside and / or outside. By use, without forming an additional vertical support element such as a bracket, bracket and foundation, it is possible to form an additional brick wall layer in front of an already existing wall. In this way, working time and costs when building an additional brick wall layer can be saved particularly advantageous.

In the embodiment shown, the wall comprises an already existing wall 18, on which is applied a leveling layer, in particular a plaster layer 16 and an adhesive layer 14, a multiplicity of bricks 12 being glued to the plaster layer by means of the adhesive layer 14.

The plurality of bricks 12 is arranged on the already existing wall 18 such that it forms a target facing layer.

It should be noted that the compensation layer 16 is optional. Thus, the additional brick wall layer 20 can also be arranged directly by adhering to the already existing wall 18. It is irrelevant whether the additional brick wall layer 20 on the inside and / or on the outside of the existing wall 18 (for example, a building) is arranged.

With the multilayer wall according to the invention, it is possible to refurbish existing buildings energetically by an additional brick wall layer is adhered to an existing wall 18 of a building to be rehabilitated. In order to compensate for any unevenness of the existing wall 18 of the building to be rehabilitated or to obtain a better adhesive effect of the adhesive layer 14, it is possible a compensating layer 16, in particular a plaster layer (clothing) on the existing wall 18 before applying the adhesive layer 14 apply.

In this case, it is possible to apply the adhesive layer 14 and / or the compensation layer 16 in such a thickness that unevenness of the already existing wall 18 is compensated.

Advantage of the multilayer wall according to the invention, inter alia, that a vertical support in the form of, for example, an additional support element, such as a console, an angle and / or a foundation is not necessary. In this way it is possible to arrange an additional brick wall layer 20 also in the region of windows, in particular over a window opening. Especially in these areas, it was often not possible to install an additional brick wall layer 20.

By using a brick 12 for adhering to an already existing wall 18 by means of an adhesive layer 14, it is possible to form an additional brick wall layer 12 in front of an already existing wall 18.

In order to increase the fastening effect of the individual bricks, additional fastening elements, such as, for example, (wall) dowels, can be introduced through the bricks 12 into the already existing wall 18. In this way, it is permanently possible to remove wind suction and pressure loads and vertical loads resulting from the weight of the brick 12.

Furthermore, a temporary interception can be provided to assist in the assembly of the bricks l2, which can be removed after curing of the adhesive layer 14 again. This makes it particularly advantageous possible to avoid thermal bridges in the region of the interception. Their attachment, however, can be easily performed as compared to static bearing support.

When attaching the additional brick wall layer 20 to the existing wall 18 is to ensure that the existing wall 18 is sufficiently stable to permanently remove the loads resulting from the own weight of the additional brick wall layer 20 as well as the optional plaster layer 16.

0,045 W/mK, bevorzugt 0,038 W/mK betragen. The bricks to be used for bonding have a length of at least 250 mm, preferably 500 mm, a width of at least 80 mm and a height of at least 249 mm, a weight of at least 1.5 kg, preferably 3.0 kg. The brick material of the bricks 12 is selected such that it has a rated value of the thermal conductivity of not more than 0.30 W / mK in the fired state, wherein in the present embodiment, a design value of the thermal conductivity of at most 0.22 W / mK is present. The thermal conductivity is thereby determined on specimens cut out of the thermal insulation brick (brick shards) according to DIN EN 12664: 2001-05 (D). The bricks 12 may be filled with either an insulating material, such as perlite, mineral fiber, etc. or be unfilled. The thermal conductivity of the insulating material should thereby max. 0.045 W / mK, preferably 0.038 W / mK.
