Definitions

  • At least one brush roller can be used, which can be rotated about a horizontal axis of rotation and with the aid of which the debris can be picked up from the bottom surface and transferred to the hopper.
  • at least one side brush is used, which can be rotated about a nearly vertically oriented axis of rotation and protrudes laterally beyond the outer contour of the sweeper. With the help of the side broom, for example, a gutter can be swept, wherein the debris can be transferred by means of the side brush in the direction of a longitudinally aligned center axis of the sweeper, so that the debris can then be detected by the sweeping material receiving device and transferred to the hopper.
  • Object of the present invention is to develop a mobile sweeper of the generic type such that the detection of the whirled up dust from the side brush can be done with less energy use.
