Abstract

L'invention concerne des microcapsules comprenant une composition de paraffine comme coeur et un polymère comme enveloppe, le polymère étant constitué de 40 à 90 % en poids d'un ou de plusieurs esters d'alkyle C1-C24 de l'acide acrylique et/ou méthacrylique (monomères I), de 10 à 60 % en poids d'un ou de plusieurs agents réticulants éthyléniquement insaturés (monomères II), au moins 80 % en poids par rapport aux agents réticulants éthyléniquement insaturés étant un agent réticulant ayant au moins trois radicaux éthyléniquement insaturés, ainsi que de 0 à 30 % en poids d'un ou de plusieurs monomères éthyléniquement insaturés (monomères III) différents des monomères I, et ce respectivement par rapport au poids total des monomères. Selon l'invention, la composition de paraffine comprend 35 à 98 % en poids de n-octadécane, 1 à 10 % en poids d'au moins un composé aliphatique C20-C24 et/ou de diisopropylnaphtalène, 1 à 5 % en poids d'au moins une cire ayant un point de fusion supérieur à 40 °C, ainsi que 0 à 50 % en poids de n-hexadécane, et ce respectivement par rapport à la composition de paraffine. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production de ces microcapsules, ainsi que leur utilisation dans des liants de construction, des textiles et des liquides caloporteurs.
