Verkehrsleitwandelementen besteht, die jeweils aus einem länglichen Korpus und einem mit dem Korpus eines benachbart aufgestellten Verkehrsleitwandelement verbindenden Verbinderteil bestehen, die dadurch weitergebildet ist, dass beide Endstücke des Korpus mit einem aus Stahl gefertigten Verbindungsteil versehen sind, das aus einer Stirnplatte, einem Verriegelungsabschnitt und insbesondere einer Fußplatte besteht bzw. diese Elemente umfasst, wobei der Verriegelungsabschnitt in seiner Höhe hinter der Oberkante des Korpus zurückbleibt und mit wenigstens einem Dorn oder einer Dornaufnahme versehen ist und ein Querstück vorgesehen ist, dessen Länge dem Doppelten des Verriegelungsabschnitts entspricht, wobei beide Hälften mit einer Dornaufnahme bzw. einem Dorn versehen sind, die mit dem Dorn bzw. der Dornaufnahme des Verriegelungsabschnitts korrespondierend ausgebildet und angeordnet sind und wobei die Oberkante des Querstücks beim Aufsetzen auf den Verriegelungsabschnitt mit der Oberkante des Korpus fluchtet. Eine bevorzugte Ausführungsform zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die Stirnplatte des Verbindungsteils mit einem im Querschnitt T-förmigen, sich längs der Stirnplatte erstreckenden Riegel und einem bei der Montage den Riegel eines benachbarten Elements aufnehmenden, sich längs der Stirnplatte erstreckenden hinterschnittenen Schlitz versehen ist.
