Claims (9)

  1. A steel crash barrier for motor vehicles, consisting of barrier sections (2, 2a-c) releasably attached to one another and comprising base members (3, 3a-c) in the form of housings having lateral collision plates (4, 4a) inclined roof-fashion, cover plates (6) connecting the top longitudinal edges (5) of the collision plates (4, 4a), and ground support plates (8, 8a-c) connected in the form of flanges to the bottom longitudinal edges (7) of the collision plates (4, 4a) and guide members (10, 10a-c), of C-shaped cross-section open at the bottom, said guide members being connected to the base members (3, 3a-c) via vertical posts (9) in parallel vertical spacing, push-in locking means (20, 15a; 24, 15; 32, 29a) being provided at the ends of the base members (3, 3a-c) and of the guide members (10, 10a-c) of the barrier sections (2, 2a-c), characterised in that the push-in locking means (20, 15a; 24, 15; 32, 29a) are formed on the one hand by angle profiles (20, 24, 36) which are positionally fixed at the end faces of the base members (3, 3a-c) and of the guide members (10, 10a-c), said angle profiles (20, 24, 32) having horizontal limbs (21, 25, 33) and vertical limbs (22, 26, 34) which project relatively to the end faces (11, 12) of the base members (3, 3a-c) and of the guide members (10, 10a-c) and on the other hand by coupling webs (15, 15a; 29, 29a) which extend in the transverse planes of the end faces (11, 12) of the base members (3, 3a-c) and of the guide members (10, 10a-c), while at one end of each base member (3, 3a-c) and of the associated guide member (10, 10a-c) there is fixed, in the lower region of the height thereof, in each case an angle profile (20, 32) with a vertical limb (22, 34) directed upwardly from the horizontal limb (21, 33) and, at the other end of the base member (3, 3a-c), in the upper region of the height thereof, an angle profile (24) with a vertical limb (26) extending downwards from the horizontal limb (25), and in that a cut-out (28) is provided in the cover plate (6) of the base member (3, 3a-c) above the angle profile (20) with the upwardly directed vertical limb (22) next to the coupling web (15) in adaptation to an angle profile (24) with a downwardly directed vertical limb (26).
  2. A crash barrier according to claim 1, characterised in that the angle profiles (20, 24, 32) and coupling webs (15, 15a; 29, 29a) form constituent parts of housing adapters (46 - 49) releasably introduced into the end sections (44, 44a) of the base members (3b, 3b) and guide members (10b, 10c).
  3. A crash barrier according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the angle profiles (20, 24, 32) are provided with junction plates (23, 27) incorporated between the horizontal limbs (21, 25, 33) and the vertical limbs (22, 26, 34) and vertical slots (18, 19) are disposed in the coupling webs (15, 15a).
  4. A crash barrier according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that locating plates (41) are releasably associated with the vertical limbs (22, 26, 34) of the angle profiles (20, 24, 32).
  5. A crash barrier according to claim 4, characterised in that the locating plates (41) are of wedge-shaped construction in horizontal cross-section.
  6. A crash barrier according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that underside filler members (14) are provided at the ends of the ground support plates (8, 8a) of the barrier sections (2, 2a) and are flush with the end faces (11, 12) thereof.
  7. A crash barrier according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that angular engagement hooks (35) are provided at one end of the ground support plates (8, 8a) of the barrier sections (2, 2a), and their horizontal limbs (36) are fixed on the underside of the ground support plates (8, 8a) and their upwardly directed vertical limbs (38) are situated at a distance in front of the end faces (11, 12) of the barrier sections (2, 2a) while cutouts (37) adapted to the vertical limbs (38) are provided at the other ends of the ground support plates (8, 8a) at a distance from the end faces (11, 12).
  8. A crash barrier according to claim 7, characterised in that the horizontal limbs (36) of the engagement hooks (35) are screwed to the ends of the adjacent ground support plates (8, 8a).
  9. A crash barrier according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the coupling webs (29, 29a) of consecutive guide members (10, 10a-c) are connected by screw bolts (31).
