  • Such devices may find application in various fields such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, foods, nutritional supplements, or in the construction industry.
  • compositions of substances and formulations containing different liquid and / or (powdered) solid components should be prepared shortly before use so as to ensure the desired effect of the combined components.
  • the active ingredients are dissolved in a solvent before application.
  • the patient has to dose his medication independently, whereby a faulty administration can have adverse consequences.
  • WO 2010/035 086 A1 describes a container for liquid products, in particular pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food products, wherein the container comprises a partition wall 7.
  • the container comprises a partition wall 7.
  • two chambers are formed for two liquid products.
  • a closure Prior to mixing, a closure is in a first position in which the closure elements cooperate with the outlet openings of the two chambers so that the two liquids are kept separate from each other.
  • the closure is moved to a second position in which the closure elements no longer close the openings and are mixed in the mixing area.
  • an additional element is provided on the closure, which is to be removed.

  • the device according to the invention comprises a container according to claim 1 having an open end and a closed end, and a cap which is arranged at the open end of the container. Furthermore, the container has at least two chambers separated by at least one wall, the wall extending from the closed end to the open end of the container. In the cap, a protruding element is formed such that the at least two chambers in the region of the open end of the container can be limited by the protruding element.

More preferably, two to eight chambers (often 2, 3 or 4 chambers) may be provided in a container, each containing a different substance (or mixture of substances). This makes it possible to realize combinations of components that would not be easily packaged individually. This results in novel additive combinations, especially in the field of food supplementation.

  • the invention also relates to a device for storing and mixing substances, wherein the container has two to eight chambers, in particular two to four chambers. Often, the device has two or three chambers. These chambers can be the same size, but they can also have different volumes.
  • the invention also relates to a method for producing a device as described above, in which a container (14) and a cap (12) made of a suitable material (eg plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polycarbonate, PET or other copolymers) is formed and the two parts are then connected.

  • each chamber 20 makes it possible to store substances of different types, ie liquids and / or powders, separately from one another before they can be mixed together shortly before use. Furthermore, the position of the walls 22 can be chosen arbitrarily in the container interior. Thus, the volume and the capacity of each chamber 20 can be flexibly adapted to the mixing ratios of the stored in the chambers 20 substances and it can be a flawless accumulation of, for example, medicines, dietary supplements or other chemically reactive substances guaranteed. That is, if, for example, more liquid than powder is used, the wall 22 or partition inside the container is placed and adjusted so that no spaces are created in the chambers, which significantly increases the efficiency of the packaging.
  • a cap 12 is further provided at the open end 16 of the container 14.

Further, it can be seen how the protruding element 24 of the cap 12, the chambers 20 isolated from each other and the interior of the container 14 to the outside, So from the environment of the container 14, seals.
  • Fig. 2 illustrates the device for storing and mixing substances 10 in the closed state, ie the cap 12 is in a first position and seals both the container 14 to the outside and the individual chambers 20 inside the container 14 from. In this state, the substances contained in the chambers 20 can be stored isolated from each other.
  • Fig. 1 illustrates the apparatus for storing and mixing fabrics 10 in a condition in which the cap 12 is in an unseated position but still does not allow communication between the chambers 20. Thus, this position corresponds to an intermediate position between a closed first position and a second position in which a connection between the chambers 20 is made.
  • the cap 12 is transferred to a second position, which is characterized for example by a mark or a groove on the container 14. In this second position, the cap 12 continues to close the container 14, but a connection between the chambers 20 is released. Is the cap 12 in the second position so arises between the projecting element 24 and the wall 22 in the region of the opening 16 of the container 14, a free space.
