- the part of the Umbuchfilterica that forms part of the outside of the hood, in particular the outside of the recirculating air filter unit.
- the provision of the odor filter element in a filter drawer has the advantage that the position of the filter element is fixed inside the circulating air filter unit and does not have to be adjusted by the user.
- its installed state is already known, so that the position of the filter element in the circulating-air filter unit can be aligned with the position of an air feed to the circulating-air filter unit and to air outlet openings already during the production of the circulating air unit.
- the odor filter element is integrated above the fan in the circulating-air filter unit, the larger installation space available there can be used for the filter. This is advantageous over cooker hoods in which the odor filter is used in front of one or more fans. In this position is often only a very limited space available. This creates a large pressure drop across the filter. This creates more noise when operating the extractor fan. In addition, only a relatively small amount of filter material can be used, resulting in poor odor reduction. In the extractor hood according to the invention, however, pressure drop and noise can be reduced with better odor reduction.
- Directional information such as top, bottom and side are in the following - unless otherwise stated - used with respect to a hood in the assembled state.
- the front side is the page that is at proper use of the hood is usually facing the user of the hood and facing away from the mounting wall at a Wandesse.
- the recirculating-air filter unit is a separate unit to the chimney.
- a separate circulating air filter unit of the hood here a component or assembly is referred to, which is made separately from the hood and, if necessary, is attached to the hood only during assembly.
- the separate Um Kunststofffilterica can be placed on the chimney of the hood or used for example between two chimney parts.
- the odor filter element can be provided at an optimal location, independently of the design of the chimney.
- the material and the structure of the recirculating-air filter unit can be selected according to the requirements of this recirculating-air filter unit and is not dependent on the material and construction of the fireplace.
- the recirculating-air filter unit is integrated in the chimney.
- the recirculation unit is at least partially formed by a part of the fireplace.
- a recess for the filter drawer can be introduced into the front side of a chimney part.
- the recirculating-air filter unit in this embodiment may comprise, for example, the filter drawer and a guide for the filter drawer, which together with the side walls of the chimney part form the recirculation unit.
- the leadership of the filter drawer can be provided in this embodiment on the inside of a chimney and the filter drawer are introduced through a recess or a cutout in the chimney.
- the filter drawer has a front which at least partially forms at least one outer surface of the circulating-air filter unit.
- the front of the filter drawer constitutes a part of the outside of the chimney part into which it is inserted.
- the filter drawer has at least one side wall for holding at least a part of the odor filter element.
- two side walls are provided, which extend from the back of the front to the rear.
- the holder for the odor filter element is in this case provided on the mutually facing sides of the side walls.
- the odor filter element according to the invention may consist of one or more parts, each having filter material and are referred to as a filter. If the odor filter element consists of several parts, a part of the odor filter element can be attached to each of the side walls.
- the filter drawer may also have a back wall. On the rear wall may also be provided a holder for at least a portion of the odor filter element.
- the at least one odor filter element may be vertically or horizontally aligned in the filter drawer.
- horizontally aligned here is a filter element referred to, which is flowed through in the vertical direction of the air.
- a vertically aligned filter element flows through in the horizontal direction of the air.
- the direction of the flow through the filter element indicates the main flow direction of the air.
- the air may also flow in directions deviating from the main flow direction.
- a filter element horizontally oriented in the filter element is advantageous that the entire horizontal surface of the drawer can be used as a filter surface, since this is limited only by the dimensions of the fireplace, the filter surface can therefore be large.
- a horizontally oriented filter element can also extend in the vertical direction, that is one have some height.
- a filter element may be used, in which the filter material is received in a wavy manner in a horizontally lying frame, which is flowed through from bottom to top. If the filter element lies in the filter drawer in the vertical direction, this has the advantage that the filter element can be arranged in the vicinity of the air outlet openings on the chimney.
- a distribution of the air and thus a secured against flow of the filter element take place.
- a multi-part filter element is preferred.
- the individual parts of the filter element can be provided, for example, on the sides of the drawer and aligned with the side walls of the fireplace. Since the filter element and thus also the individual parts of the filter element are held in the inventive hood on the filter drawer, they can be moved simultaneously and removed from the hood. - the outflow to the sides is advantageous in the extractor hood according to the invention, since the circulating-air filter unit is arranged on the chimney and thus in the vicinity of the ceiling of the room in which the extractor hood is operated. An outflow of air upwards would be hindered by the ceiling in this installation position and thus possibly lead to a backwater in the hood or increase the required power.
- At least one air outlet opening is introduced.
- the air outlet surface can be maximized from the hood.
- at least part of the filter element can be provided on the rear side of the front and thus also the filter surface through which it flows can be maximized.
- At least one air guiding device is arranged in the filter drawer.
- the air guiding device serves to supply air to the at least one odor filter element or to divert the air from the at least one odor filter element to at least one air outlet opening.
- the spoiler device can thus be upstream or downstream of the odor filter element.
- the spoiler can be switched before, downstream or integrated in the filter drawer. In the first two cases, the spoiler is not part of the air circulation unit but is integrated in the chimney.
- the spoiler device may in particular have guide channels for guiding the air. These are preferably curved guide channels, through which the air is deflected to be passed to the preferably introduced in the side walls or the front of the hood air outlet openings.
- the spoiler device may have a branching into at least two oppositely curved channels.
- the advantage of providing an air guiding device in the filter drawer or at least in the region of the filter element is that the air can be deflected without significant flow losses and in particular turbulence can be prevented.
- An air guide in front of the filter element has the advantage that it is flown more uniformly.
- a locking element is provided on the filter drawer.
- the locking element can cooperate with a further locking means in the recirculation unit or on the extractor hood.
- the locking element may, for example, constitute a latching lug for engagement in a latching recess.
- FIG. 1 the upper area of an embodiment of the extractor hood 1 according to the invention is shown schematically.

- the chimney 2 consists in the illustrated embodiment of three chimney parts 20, 21, 22.
- the lower chimney part 20 and the middle chimney part 21 are U-shaped bent metal sheets and therefore limit the interior of the chimney 2 to the sides and the front of the chimney.
- the middle chimney part 21 is in this case partially introduced into the lower chimney part 20, that is, in the lower region on the inside of the lower chimney part 20 and extends beyond the upper edge of the lower chimney part 20 upwards.
- the upper chimney part forms in the illustrated embodiment the recirculation unit 22 and constitutes an upwardly closed box-shaped component.
- a lid 222 is provided at the top of the recirculation unit 22, a lid 222 is provided.
- the side walls 220 of the recirculation unit 22 are connected to the lid 222.
- air outlet openings 221 are introduced in the form of vertically extending slots.
- the front of the circulating air unit 22 is formed in the illustrated embodiment by the front 30 of a filter drawer 3.
- air outlet openings 300 are introduced in the form of vertically extending slots.
- the width and depth of the recirculation unit 22 are greater than the width and depth of the central chimney part 21. The lower region of the recirculation unit 22 thus abuts against the outside of the upper region of the central chimney part 21.
- FIG. 2 shows, in the middle chimney part 21 in the interior at the top of an end plate with the tube outlet 4 is provided.
- the filter drawer 3, in the Figures 2 and 3 can be seen more accurately, in the illustrated embodiment, a front 30 and two side walls 31.
- the side walls 31 extend rearwardly from the rear of the front 30.
- the side walls 31 each consist of an upper and a lower horizontally extending leg 310, which are interconnected via a frame 312.
- the frame 312 has a passage opening that substantially covers the height and depth of the frame 312.
- the frame 312 is offset inwardly from the legs 310.
- a receiving region for a part of a filter element 32 is formed between the legs 310 and the frame 312.
- each tabs 311 are provided, via which the part of the filter element 32 is held in the receiving area.
- the filter element 32 consists of a front filter 321 and two lateral filters 320.

- the lateral filters 320 By inserting the drawer 3 into the recirculation unit 22, the lateral filters 320 thus arrive directly behind the air outlet openings 221 in the side walls 220 of the recirculation unit 22.
- the front filter 321 lies behind the air outlet openings 300 in the front 30 of the filter drawer 3.
- Air that enters through the pipe outlet 4 in the upper chimney part 22 is thus passed to the filter element 32 after a deflection, which takes place at the latest on the lid 222 and exits via the filters 320 and 321 to the sides and over the front 30 the recirculation unit 22 as purified air.
- the filter drawer 3 is guided at the air circulation unit 22 by the legs 310.

- the width and depth of the filter element may be less than the width of the air circulation unit.
- the width and depth of the filter element in this embodiment is at least as large as the diameter of the tube outlet.
- a filter drawer above the fan of the hood which is also referred to as a fume hood, introduced.
- the filter drawer can be integrated either in the chimney, which can also be referred to as a duct system, or as a separate unit at a suitable location in the duct system.
- the filter drawer can be inserted between two parts of the fireplace.
- the filter is integrated in a filter drawer, which can also be called a pull-out system.
- the extract of the filter drawer can be done in different directions depending on the embodiment. For example, the extract can be made laterally or forward.
- the odor filter element may consist of several parts, which may also be referred to as elements.
- the odor filter element can alternatively be inserted in a horizontal position in the drawer, so that the air flow can flow through the filter without prior change of direction.
- wave-shaped or meandering filters can also be used. Such a filter is for example in the WO 2011/064083 described.

These foods, which are attached to the back of a mounting wall, are also referred to as wall food. However, the extractor hood according to the invention may also represent a so-called Inselesse, in which the viewing hood additionally extends beyond the back of the fireplace and in particular is attached to the ceiling of the room in which the hood is operated.
As a fan of the hood, which can also be referred to as a fan, the component of the extractor hood is called, is sucked through the air in the hood. For this purpose, an intake opening is provided in the chimney or in a sight hood provided below the chimney. In the chimney, the air, which is discharged from the fan, for example through an outlet, to a fan housing, out. For this purpose, a pipe or a hose may be provided in the chimney.
The odor filter element, which is also referred to below as a filter element, for example, represents an activated carbon filter element. The filter material of the filter element, which may for example represent a mat, may be held in a frame or other holder. The odor filter element may consist of one or more parts. The individual parts of a multi-part filter element are referred to below as a filter.
The odor filter element is downstream of the fan in the direction of flow in the extractor hood. This means that the air exiting the fan and optionally via a pipe or a tube guided air to the odor filter element and there can be cleaned of odors before the air leaves the hood.
According to the invention, the extractor hood has a circulating-air filter unit with at least one of the odor filter elements in a filter drawer. The filter drawer is also referred to below as a drawer. The recirculating-air filter unit is a unit through which the air released by the fan can be cleaned of odors and emitted from the extractor hood. The recirculating-air filter unit forms part of the extractor hood and preferably consists of a housing which can be formed for example by a part of the fireplace and at least one filter drawer accommodated in the housing. The odor filter element is received in a filter drawer. As a drawer, a component is understood that can be laterally displaced relative to at least one further part of the extractor hood. The filter drawer is guided in this movement and can preferably be solved by the hood, that is to be removed from the hood. The odor filter element is inventively releasably connected to the filter drawer. In particular, the filter element is, for example, inserted or pushed into regions of the filter drawer and can be removed from the filter drawer.
The circulating air filter unit according to the invention is arranged on the chimney. Arranged on the chimney in this context means that the circulating-air filter unit is arranged such that the air guided in the chimney is passed through the circulating-air filter unit and the air can escape from the extractor hood via the circulating-air filter unit. For this purpose, the circulating-air filter unit can be integrated in the chimney or connected to it or interposed in it. In addition, at least a part of the circulating air filter unit forms part of the outside of the extractor hood, in particular in the area of the chimney. The part of the Umluftfiltereinheit that forms part of the outside of the hood, in particular the outside of the recirculating air filter unit.
By the outside of the Umluftfiltereinheit at least partially represents the outside of the hood and thus air from the circulating air filter unit directly into the room in which the hood is operated, can be achieved on the one hand, a reliable and unhindered outflow of purified air. On the other hand, since the recirculating-air filter unit is accessible from the outside, access to the circulating-air filter unit is also ensured for filter replacement purposes. For this particular, no cladding of the hood must be removed.
In addition, the provision of the odor filter element in a filter drawer has the advantage that the position of the filter element is fixed inside the circulating air filter unit and does not have to be adjusted by the user. In the manufacture of the circulating-air filter unit, its installed state is already known, so that the position of the filter element in the circulating-air filter unit can be aligned with the position of an air feed to the circulating-air filter unit and to air outlet openings already during the production of the circulating air unit.
Since the odor filter element is integrated above the fan in the circulating-air filter unit, the larger installation space available there can be used for the filter.
Directional information, such as top, bottom and side are in the following - unless otherwise stated - used with respect to a hood in the assembled state. The front side is the page that is at proper use of the hood is usually facing the user of the hood and facing away from the mounting wall at a Wandesse.
According to one embodiment, the recirculating-air filter unit is a separate unit to the chimney.
As a separate circulating air filter unit of the hood here a component or assembly is referred to, which is made separately from the hood and, if necessary, is attached to the hood only during assembly. The separate Umluftfiltereinheit can be placed on the chimney of the hood or used for example between two chimney parts. By using a circulating air filter unit for the odor filter element, which is a separate component to the chimney of the extractor hood, the odor filter element can be provided at an optimal location, independently of the design of the chimney. In addition, due to the separate configuration, the material and the structure of the recirculating-air filter unit can be selected according to the requirements of this recirculating-air filter unit and is not dependent on the material and construction of the fireplace.
According to a preferred embodiment, however, the recirculating-air filter unit is integrated in the chimney. Here, the recirculation unit is at least partially formed by a part of the fireplace. For this purpose, a recess for the filter drawer can be introduced into the front side of a chimney part. The recirculating-air filter unit in this embodiment may comprise, for example, the filter drawer and a guide for the filter drawer, which together with the side walls of the chimney part form the recirculation unit. The leadership of the filter drawer can be provided in this embodiment on the inside of a chimney and the filter drawer are introduced through a recess or a cutout in the chimney. An advantage of this embodiment is that the appearance of the extractor hood is uniform. In addition, the number of components of the hood is minimized in this embodiment.
According to the invention, the filter drawer has a front which at least partially forms at least one outer surface of the circulating-air filter unit. In the embodiment in which the circulating air filter unit is integrated in the chimney, the front of the filter drawer constitutes a part of the outside of the chimney part into which it is inserted. By forming the filter drawer part of the outside surface, the user of the extractor hood can easily open access them and remove the drawer by removing the odor filter element from the extractor hood.
According to one embodiment, the filter drawer has at least one side wall for holding at least a part of the odor filter element. Preferably, two side walls are provided, which extend from the back of the front to the rear. The holder for the odor filter element is in this case provided on the mutually facing sides of the side walls. The odor filter element according to the invention may consist of one or more parts, each having filter material and are referred to as a filter. If the odor filter element consists of several parts, a part of the odor filter element can be attached to each of the side walls. In addition to the side walls, the filter drawer may also have a back wall. On the rear wall may also be provided a holder for at least a portion of the odor filter element.
The at least one odor filter element may be vertically or horizontally aligned in the filter drawer. As horizontally aligned here is a filter element referred to, which is flowed through in the vertical direction of the air. A vertically aligned filter element, however, flows through in the horizontal direction of the air. The direction of the flow through the filter element indicates the main flow direction of the air. In or on the filter element, the air may also flow in directions deviating from the main flow direction. In a filter element horizontally oriented in the filter element is advantageous that the entire horizontal surface of the drawer can be used as a filter surface, since this is limited only by the dimensions of the fireplace, the filter surface can therefore be large. In addition, a horizontally oriented filter element can also extend in the vertical direction, that is one have some height. For example, as a horizontally oriented filter element, a filter element may be used, in which the filter material is received in a wavy manner in a horizontally lying frame, which is flowed through from bottom to top. If the filter element lies in the filter drawer in the vertical direction, this has the advantage that the filter element can be arranged in the vicinity of the air outlet openings on the chimney. Thus, in front of the filter element in the recirculating air filter unit, a distribution of the air and thus a secured against flow of the filter element take place. In particular, in a vertical orientation, a multi-part filter element is preferred. The individual parts of the filter element can be provided, for example, on the sides of the drawer and aligned with the side walls of the fireplace. Since the filter element and thus also the individual parts of the filter element are held in the inventive hood on the filter drawer, they can be moved simultaneously and removed from the hood. Therefore, even with a multi-part filter element replacement in the extractor hood according to the invention is simple.
Preferably, at least one air outlet opening is introduced in at least one side wall of the circulating air unit. The air outlet port may be a slot or other opening, such as a hole. Preferably, a plurality of air outlet openings are provided. In the embodiment in which the recirculating-air filter unit is integrated in the chimney, that is to say which is formed by at least part of a chimney part, the air outlet openings can be provided in the side walls of the chimney in the region in which the filter drawer is inserted. By providing the air outlet openings at least on the side walls of the circulating-air filter unit in the region of the filter drawer, the air can be reliably removed from the extractor hood after cleaning on the filter element of the circulating-air filter unit. The outflow to the sides is advantageous in the extractor hood according to the invention, since the circulating-air filter unit is arranged on the chimney and thus in the vicinity of the ceiling of the room in which the extractor hood is operated. An outflow of air upwards would be hindered by the ceiling in this installation position and thus possibly lead to a backwater in the hood or increase the required power.
According to one embodiment, in addition to the air outlet or openings in the side walls or alternatively to these air outlet openings in the front of the filter drawer, at least one air outlet opening is introduced. In this embodiment, the air outlet surface can be maximized from the hood. In particular, in the case of a vertically oriented filter element, moreover, at least part of the filter element can be provided on the rear side of the front and thus also the filter surface through which it flows can be maximized.
According to one embodiment, at least one air guiding device is arranged in the filter drawer. The air guiding device serves to supply air to the at least one odor filter element or to divert the air from the at least one odor filter element to at least one air outlet opening. The spoiler device can thus be upstream or downstream of the odor filter element. The spoiler can be switched before, downstream or integrated in the filter drawer. In the first two cases, the spoiler is not part of the air circulation unit but is integrated in the chimney. The spoiler device may in particular have guide channels for guiding the air. These are preferably curved guide channels, through which the air is deflected to be passed to the preferably introduced in the side walls or the front of the hood air outlet openings. In particular, the spoiler device may have a branching into at least two oppositely curved channels. The advantage of providing an air guiding device in the filter drawer or at least in the region of the filter element is that the air can be deflected without significant flow losses and in particular turbulence can be prevented. An air guide in front of the filter element has the advantage that it is flown more uniformly. By a filter element upstream air duct, a space can be created in which the air can first spread before it flows through the filter element.
According to one embodiment, a locking element is provided on the filter drawer. The locking element can cooperate with a further locking means in the recirculation unit or on the extractor hood. In particular, serves the locking member for holding the filter drawer in the retracted state. This can prevent accidental slipping out of the filter drawer during operation of the hood. The locking element may, for example, constitute a latching lug for engagement in a latching recess.

Furthermore, it is possible to provide the filter drawer in another chimney part in deviation from the embodiments shown. For example, the middle chimney part can be designed as a recirculation unit and for this purpose have the air outlet openings and optionally rails for guiding the filter drawer. In this embodiment, the central chimney part is formed so that it has a greater width and depth than the lower chimney part, so as to allow a withdrawal of the filter drawer.
In addition, in contrast to the illustrated embodiments, the front of the filter drawer can have a smaller width than the circulating air unit or extend over the front side of the circulating air unit and the front regions of the side walls of the circulating air unit. For vertically oriented filters, however, the width of the drawer body, which is defined by the legs or a frame, preferably corresponds to the width of the air circulation unit. In this way, a concern of the filter element to the air outlet opening and thus a reliable outflow of the purified air can be ensured. However, the filter element need not necessarily rest against the air outlet openings. By a small distance to the air outlet openings, a better flow through the filter element can be ensured. In the case of a horizontally oriented filter element, however, the width and depth of the filter element may be less than the width of the air circulation unit. Preferably, however, the width and depth of the filter element in this embodiment is at least as large as the diameter of the tube outlet.
The present invention has a number of advantages. On the one hand the removal of the odor filter element, including the filter drawer with a handle is possible. The filter can thus be removed with the filter drawer as a single part of or from the extractor hood. The insertion of the odor filter element and the removal done with a handle. The end position is clearly defined with a suitable design. The filter drawer can be harmoniously integrated into the extractor hood.
