  • the V-shaped rib (5) is located on the internal edge of the mouth of the neck (3), forming a sealed fit as a result of, on one hand, the skirt or lower flange (2) that is segmented by conical slits snugly fitting externally over the lip (4) of the neck of the bottle, and on the other hand, being provided with a liner (7), providing a sealing and in turn helping the opening of the bottle; the annular area (6) being upwardly domed.
  • the dome of the annular area (6) is pressed downwards as depicted in Figure 2 , deforming the V-shaped rib (5) and causing the folding back thereof and the corresponding separation of the segmented skirt or external flange (2) of the body (1) of the lid, freeing it with respect to the neck (3) of the bottle.
  • the slits of the flange (2) have a conical section, i.e., their width decreases from the lower part of the flange (2) towards the upper part of the flange (2) and attachment with the body (1).
