Claims (3)

  1. Wasserenthärtungsvorrichtung für elektrische Haushaltsgeräte, umfassend:
    - einen ersten Behälter (24), um Substanzen mit wasserenthärtenden Eigenschaften zu enthalten, welcher wenigstens eine Einlassöffnung (26) für zu enthärtendes Wasser und eine Auslassöffnung (28) für enthärtetes Wasser aufweist,
    - einen zweiten Salz enthaltenden Behälter (30), welcher wenigstens eine Wassereinlassöffnung (32) und eine Auslassöffnung (34) für eine regenerierende Sole, die sich beim Lösen des Salzes in dem Wasser bildet, aufweist,
    - eine Leitung (36), welche den zweiten Behälter (30) mit dem ersten Behälter (24) verbindet, so dass die in dem zweiten Behälter (30) gebildete Sole in Richtung des ersten Behälters (24) ausfließen kann,
    - eine Wasserversorgungsleitung (10), welche einen Verzweigungspunkt (18) in einen ersten Zweig (20), der den ersten Behälter (24) versorgt, und in einen zweiten Zweig (22), der zu der Einlassöffnung (32) des zweiten Behälters (30) führt, aufweist, und
    - ein Umschaltventil (38) mit einem Schieber, welches dazu eingerichtet ist, zu bewirken, dass Wasser in den ersten oder zweiten Zweig (20, 22) strömt,
    wobei die Vorrichtung dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass das Ventil (38) ferner einen Durchgang (42) umfasst, welcher die Wasserversorgungsleitung (10) und den ersten Zweig (20) unabhängig von der Lage des Schiebers in Kommunikation bringt.
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Verhältnis zwischen den Wasserströmungen in dem ersten und zweiten Zweig (20, 22) von den Öffnungen des Durchgangs (42) und der Ventilsitze (40a, 40b), mit welchen der Schieber (39) zusammenwirkt, abhängt.
  3. Elektrisches Haushaltswaschgerät, umfassend eine Wasserenthärtungsvorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche.
