Definitions

  • the present invention is in the field of connection technology and relates to hinges which are used in particular in glass elements. These glass elements are used, among other things, in sanitary technology.
  • the glass sheets are provided with metal frames of, for example, aluminum and fixed with other means which are connected to the frame. Or glass sheets are fixed with clamps or clamps of similar means. These devices normally do not require post-processing of the glass of the slices by cutting or breaking.
  • the prior art comprises connecting elements for glass panes which consist of several individual parts: a first element for holding the glass pane and a second element connected to the first element for mounting to the wall or to another glass element.
  • the glass surface is more difficult to access at the edge due to the connecting elements that hold the glass pane.
  • These fasteners clamp the glass sheet from both surfaces and thereby form a bump on the glass sheet.
  • the DE 100 52 420 A1 In contrast, describes a corresponding holder for a glass pane, in which the screws are aligned for fixing the connecting elements parallel to the disk plane, however, it is always necessary in this solution to arrange the bracket in the corner of a disc.
  • the object of the present invention is accordingly to overcome the aforementioned problems and to produce a cost-effective and simple hinge which is flush with the glass element.
  • the present invention relates to an arrangement for pivotally connecting two plate-shaped glass elements with first and second hinge parts pivotally connected to each other, and two attachment means for fixing the hinge parts respectively to one of the two glass elements, each of the attachment means being configured to be are mounted flush with the two surfaces of the glass element mounted in the associated glass element state.
  • the fastening means consist of two plate-shaped parts, the surface and flush mounted in a recess of the glass element can be arranged, and which enclosing a cavity and clamped to the associated glass element, wherein the connection of the two plate-shaped parts takes place by a screw connection, which two Has screws which extend parallel to the glass element and perpendicular to the hinge axis of the hinge through the cavity.
