The invention relates to a continuous press for the production of wood-based panels, especially fiberboard or chipboard, with a press frame with several in the press longitudinal direction lined press frame, wherein within the press frame a press nip forming upper press plate and lower press plate are arranged, wherein the upper press plate or the lower press plate is applied to a plurality of rows of cylinder piston arrangements distributed in the press longitudinal direction, which are connected on the one hand to the transverse bars of the press frame and on the other hand to the respective press plate, wherein the press plate facing away from the cylinder piston assemblies is connected with the interposition of one or more pressure distribution to the cross bars of the press frame associated with this press plate, wherein at the pressure distribution plates, z. B. between each two adjacent press frame, supports are fixed to the press plate. The supports are therefore preferably arranged offset from the directions of force introduction of the cylinder. The supports are preferably designed as insulation bearings.
Continuous press means in particular a continuously operating press with in the press upper part and in the press base endlessly circulating press belts, z. B. steel press belts, which with the interposition of Wälzkörperaggregaten, z. B. rolling rods are supported on the press plates. Wood-based panels means especially fiberboard or chipboard, more preferably MDF (Medium Densified Fiber) panels. The glued wood material particles, z. As fibers are scattered to a continuous pressed material mat and this Pressgutmatte of glued wood material particles is in the continuous press using pressure and Heat pressed to the wood-based panel. The press plates are designed as heated press plates and consequently heating plates. To the press plates or heating plates upstream inlet and outlet plates may be connected upstream, which form a tapered in the direction of the inlet gap, wherein the upper and / or lower inlet plate are also acted upon with cylinder piston assemblies. Consequently, the pressed material mat to be pressed is first compressed in the area of the inlet mouth in a compression zone. This compression zone is followed by a soaking zone, in which the mat is pressed onto the final dimension using pressure and heat. Finally, the so-called calibration zone, in which the pressed material mat is finished with relatively low pressing pressure and exact press nip adjustment, adjoins this heat-through zone.
The invention preferably relates to a press, in which the upper transverse bars and lower crossbars of the press frame are opposed. The working cylinder piston assemblies are (directly) connected to the upper or lower transverse spars for the realization of a simple construction, that is, the power of the working cylinder is introduced at the level of the press frame in the product. In such embodiments, the supports of the upper and lower press plates are practically opposite each other, so that there may be press nip fluctuations in which the press nip in the longitudinal direction of the plate between the press frame by the back pressure of the mat springs. This effect is reduced or prevented by the arranged between the press frame supports.

Although the measures known so far have basically proven themselves, they are still capable of development. - This is where the invention starts.

The invention has for its object to provide a continuously operating press, with which can be produced wood panels of high quality in a particularly economical manner.
B. elektromotorische Spindelantriebe handeln. To solve this problem, the invention teaches in a continuous press with the features of
The invention is initially based on the principle known knowledge that press nip fluctuations can be avoided or reduced in a continuous press, if pressure distribution plates with supports, z. B. Isolierungsauflagern, are used, which are offset between the press frame and in particular offset from the working direction of the cylinder piston assemblies are arranged. However, according to the invention, the supports are no longer designed as permanently installed and thus fixed to the pressure distribution plates insulation support, but according to the invention, the supports are displaceable in the press longitudinal direction. By means of these measures, a variable adaptation of the pressure distribution and / or press gap adjustment is possible as a function of the respective process parameters. In particular, an adaptive adaptation and thus optimization of the plate quality with at the same time enormous glue saving depending on the properties of the pressed material mat to be pressed succeeds.
It is within the scope of the invention that the displaceable supports are arranged in their basic position between two adjacent press frame, z. B. centrally between two adjacent press frame. It can be arranged in each case a displaceable support between two adjacent press frame, which in the basic position z. B. is arranged centrally between two adjacent press frame. However, it is also within the scope of the invention that the press frame in each case two displaceable supports are assigned, which are arranged in their normal position each with a predetermined distance to the press frame on both sides of the press frame. Further There is the possibility that the sliding supports are not arranged in their basic position between two adjacent press frame, but (approximately) at the level of the press frame. Always succeeds by shifting the supports optimal adjustment of the pressing process. Thus, in an extreme case z. B. the supports are moved in the field of press frame or are in their normal position in the press frame. Thus, a press with classic press characteristics is created, which the pressing forces of the cylinder piston assemblies directly into the underlying (or above) arranged press frame, so that it comes between the individual press frame to the generally known springs of the press nip or can come. In the other extreme case, the supports can be positioned exactly centered between the press frame, so that then a press is created, which operates on the conventional Schliegeprinzip. Of particular importance is only the fact that almost any constellations can be adjusted by shifting the supports, so that the press characteristic between the two extreme cases described can be varied as desired. It is within the scope of the invention, if the support can actually be moved over the entire area between these extreme cases, that is from the frame level on the one hand to the central positioning between the frame on the other. However, it may also be sufficient in practice that the supports are displaceable from their basic position only over a limited range.
The optimal position of the support can z. B. previously determined empirically by experiments and then made for the preparation of a particular product, taking into account the previously performed experiments in terms of a fixed default, so that then during the pressing operation no adaptation is needed anymore. However, according to preferred embodiments, it is also within the scope of the invention if, during the pressing operation, a dynamic adaptation of the machine and consequently a dynamic positioning of the supports takes place during the pressing process. This creates a total of a dynamic machine created by control or regulation, z. B. can be adapted by adaptive control or regulation of the product. Because according to the invention now not only the already existing press cylinder are variably adjustable, but in addition, a variable adjustment and optimization of the pressure distribution can be realized on the displaceable supports. Thus, first of all, the principle known "Schmiegeprinzip" optimize by z. B. can be adjusted by optimal adjustment not over the press longitudinal direction or not significantly varying press nip. However, the invention also allows the targeted variation of the press nip over the press longitudinal direction, and was not only using the conventional press cylinder, but by the interaction between press cylinders on the one hand and variation of the position of the support on the other. The pressing process can thus be optimized in a special way, so that not only improves the product properties, but in particular a significant amount of glue can be achieved. Incidentally, the principle can be used not only in thin plates and thin plates, in which hitherto primarily a tilting principle should be realized, but particularly preferred can be produced with the press according to the invention standard plates or thick plates, where previously the use of pressure distribution plates and supports was of secondary importance.
In principle, it is expedient for the supports to be displaceable "on both sides" and consequently both in the working direction and counter to the working direction are displaceable. For this purpose, suitable drives should be provided. For example, the individual supports can be assigned a plurality of drives that work on both sides of the supports. However, it is also conceivable to use individual drives that work in both directions on the supports, for. B. in the sense of a pushing and a pulling movement.
Furthermore, it is expedient if the actuators are connected to a control device with which the position of the supports in dependence on one or more process parameters can be controlled or regulated. Thus, via the control device, a positioning of the supports as a function of the properties of the incoming Pressgutmatte, z. As basis weight, thickness, etc. take place. The control device forms a process computer. The control device can thus be part of the already provided for the operation of the press process computer connected to a variety of sensors and in particular with the rest of the press control, z. B. the control of the pressing cylinder is connected.
In principle, it is within the scope of the invention if all supports are positionable and provided, for example, with actuators. However, it is also within the scope of the invention if only a portion of the supports is positionable in the manner described. Thus, it may be appropriate to provide slidable supports in certain areas of the press. Likewise, it may be appropriate to set up distributed over the press length some solid supports and only a certain number of supports, eg. B. slidably position every second support or every third support.
Einlaufplatten) entspricht. It may be expedient if the pressure distribution plates and the supports are arranged or distributed in the press longitudinal direction over an area, the more than 75% of the length of the press plates and possibly inlet plates (preferably more than 90% of the length of the press plates and possibly inlet plates) corresponds.
There is the possibility that over the press length a plurality of individual pressure distribution plates are provided, wherein a pressure distribution plate, for example, each arranged between two adjacent press frame and z. B. may be supported on the lower crossbars of the adjacent press frame. Alternatively, however, continuous pressure distribution plates can be provided which span a plurality of press frames or even all press frames. The pressure distribution plates, which can also be referred to as support plates for the insulation support, form a frame-spanning support structure as a whole. These pressure distribution plates or support plates may be cast or steel plates. It is always expedient if the pressure distribution plates extend over (approximately) the width of the press plates.
The continuous press can be equipped in a conventional manner in addition to the press plates with inlet side projecting inlet plates which form a tapered in the direction of inlet gap, wherein the upper inlet plate and / or the lower inlet plate are also acted upon supported on the transverse bars of the press frame cylinder piston assemblies , It is within the scope of the invention if, in the area of the inlet plates, the pressure distribution plates and support according to the invention are dispensed with. Alternatively, however, it is also within the scope of the invention, although the upper or lower inlet plate supported with the interposition of Druckverteilplatten with supports on the respective cross member of the press frame is. These supports can also be positioned in the manner described.
Particularly preferably, the continuous press is designed as an upper-piston press, in which the cylinder piston assemblies on the upper press plate and possibly the upper inlet plate work, in this case, the lower press plate with the interposition of Druckverteilplatten on the lower cross bars of the press frame. In principle, however, the invention can also be implemented in sub-piston presses. In any case, the supports are preferably designed as insulation support. The supports can be designed as support strips extending over the respective plate width, which have either a continuous support surface extending over the plate width or else a plurality of singular support surfaces distributed over the plate width. In any case, these support surfaces are preferably arranged in the press longitudinal direction between the press frame and consequently offset from the working direction of the cylinder piston assemblies. Because the cylinder piston assemblies are particularly preferably positioned in the frame plane.
It is within the scope of the invention that in each case one or more supports are positioned centrally between each two adjacent press frame. Thus, for example, between each two adjacent press frame in each case a Auflagerstreifen (in the zero position) to be centrally located, which can be positioned in the manner described. However, it is also within the scope of the invention that a press frame in each case at least two supports are assigned, which are each arranged at a predetermined "base distance" to the press frame in the press longitudinal direction on both sides of the press frame. Starting from a press frame with a arranged on it Cylinder piston series, the introduction of force this cylinder piston series is therefore not directly on the vertically underlying transverse spar of the press frame, but as it were obliquely in the direction of the equidistantly spaced on both sides supports. In this way, doubling of the power points takes place in the press longitudinal direction. These supports and thus Kraftabstützpunkte are positioned in the manner described.
Incidentally, the (positionable) supports protrude as elevations by a predetermined amount from the surface of the pressure distribution plate assigned to the press plate, so that the discrete support points or support surfaces result in the press longitudinal direction.
Bindemitteln erzielen. The glues used are, in particular, urea-formaldehyde resins. Wood-based panel in particular means fiberboard and most preferably MDF board. However, chipboard and especially OSB boards are also covered. However, the glue savings according to the invention can also be achieved in other types of wood material boards and in particular also with other glues or binders.
The invention also relates to a process for the production of wood-based panels with a continuously operating press of the type described.

In the figures, a continuously operating press for the production of wood-based panels, especially MDF boards is shown.
