Claims (10)

  1. Laterne oder Positionsleuchte für eine Kraftfahrzeugleuchte mit einer einen Vorhang bildenden Platte (3) aus einen Vorhang bildendem durchsichtigem optischem Material und wenigstens einer Lichtquelle vom Typ LED (5), die dazu ausgelegt ist, sich im Inneren der Dicke des durchsichtigen optischen Materials ausbreitende Lichtstrahlen auszusenden, wobei die Laterne oder die Positionsleuchte ein Element aufweist, das die Platte (3) aufweist, die wenigstens eine längliche beidseitige Verdickung (4) mit im Wesentlichen kreisförmigem, insgesamt geradem Querschnitt aufweist, dessen mittlere Längsachse in der Mittelebene der Platte liegt und dazu ausgelegt ist, einen Lichtleiter zu bilden, während die Leiter bildenden Verdickungen (4) mit wenigstens einer LED (5) kombiniert sind, die an wenigstens einem der Enden des zylindrischen Lichtleiters angeordnet ist, und während der oder die Leiter (4) und die eine oder die LED (5) so angeordnet sind, daß sie praktisch die Gesamtheit des von der betreffenden LED ausgesandten Lichts über die gesamte Länge der zylindrischen Verdickung und von da im Wesentlichen über die gesamte Oberfläche des die im Wesentlichen zylindrischen Leiter umrandenden oder umgebenden Elements ausstrahlen, während die Leiter (4) bildenden Verdickungen mit Einschlüssen und/oder klassischen Aushöhlungen (6) versehen sind, die Ausstrahlungsquellen des Lichts bilden und diesem ermöglichen, direkt nach außen ausgestrahlt zu werden.
  2. Laterne oder Positionsleuchte gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie sowohl an der Rückseite als auch an der Vorderseite eines Kraftfahrzeugs eine Laterne oder Positionsleuchte bildet.
  3. Laterne oder Positionsleuchte gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Platte (3) eben ist.
  4. Laterne oder Positionsleuchte gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Platte (3) gekrümmt ist.
  5. Laterne oder Positionsleuchte gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verdickungen (4) integraler Bestandteil der Platte sind.
  6. Laterne oder Positionsleuchte gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die durch die Verdickungen (4) gebildeten Lichtleiter aus linearen, zweidimensional gekrümmten oder einfach oder mehrfach dreidimensional gekrümmten Verdickungen ausgewählt sind.
  7. Laterne oder Positionsleuchte gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Material der Platte (3) Einschlüsse oder klassische Unregelmäßigkeiten aufweist, während die Verdickungen (4) wahlweise Prismen mit vorbestimmter Struktur und vorbestimmtem Winkel aufweisen.
  8. Laterne oder Positionsleuchte gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Platte (3) eine Dicke von ungefähr 3 bis 4 mm aufweist, während die Verdickungen (4) einen Durchmesser von ungefähr 7 bis 10 mm aufweisen.
  9. Laterne oder Positionsleuchte gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie eine oder mehrere zusätzliche LED aufweist, die auf einen der freien Ränder der Platte (3) oder wenigstens auf einen durch die durch die Verdickungen (4) gebildeten Lichtleiter definierten Abschnitt der Platte (3) gerichtet sind.
  10. Laterne oder Positionsleuchte gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Platte (3) außerdem Dekorpunkte und/oder -linien aufweist.
