Description
前記透光部材の近傍所定位置に第2の発光素子を配置し、前記第2の発光素子の発光が前記透光部材に入射し該透光部材の後面で内面反射して該透光部材の前面から出射するように構成した。
(作用)第1の発光素子の発光が透光部材に入射して該透光部材の前面で内面反射した後、該透光部材の後面(光反射制御面)で再度内面反射して該透光部材の前面から出射することで、ヘッドランプ等の車両用照明灯具の主たる第1の配光が形成される。
請求項2においては、請求項1に記載の車両用照明灯具において、前記第2の発光素子を、前記透光部材の周縁所定位置または後面所定位置に設けるように構成した。
(作用)透光部材の周縁所定位置に設けた第2の発光素子から出射して透光部材に入射した光の一部は、透光部材の後面(光反射制御面)で内面反射して透光部材の前面から出射し、透光部材に入射した光の一部は、透光部材の前面で内面反射(全反射)し、さらに後面(光反射制御面)で内面反射して透光部材の前面から出射する。
(作用)透光部材の前面所定位置に設けた第2の発光素子から出射して透光部材に入射した光は、透光部材の後面(光反射制御面)で内面反射して透光部材の前面から出射する。
前記透光部材の後方所定位置に、第2の発光素子および該第2の発光素の発発光を前記透光部材に入射させるリフレクターを配置し、前記第2の発光素子の発光が前記透光部材に入射して該透光部材の前面から出射するように構成した。
(作用)第1の発光素子の発光が透光部材に入射して該透光部材の前面で内面反射した後、該透光部材の後面(光反射制御面)で再度内面反射して該透光部材の前面から出射することで、ヘッドランプ等の車両用照明灯具の主たる第1の配光が形成される。
図16は、本発明の第5の実施例(請求項4に対応する実施例)である自動車用前照灯100Dの要部である透光部材の縦断面図である。

Claims (3)
- 前方へ向けて配置された第1の発光素子と、前記発光素子の前方側に配置された透光部材とを備え、前記発光素子の発光が前記透光部材に入射して該透光部材の平面で構成された前面で内面反射した後、所定の光反射制御面で構成された該透光部材の後面で再度内面反射して該透光部材の前面から出射し、該出射光によって所定のカットオフラインを有する第1の配光が形成される車両用照明灯具において、
前記透光部材の近傍所定位置に第2の発光素子が配置され、前記第2の発光素子の発光が前記透光部材に入射し該透光部材の後面で内面反射して該透光部材の前面から出射し、該出射光によって第2の配光が形成される車両用照明灯具であって、
前記透光部材の前面の一部に鏡面処理が施されるとともに、前記第2の発光素子は、その照射軸が前記透光部材の前記鏡面処理が施された領域以外を向くように配置されたことを特徴とする車両用照明灯具。 - 前記第2の発光素子は、前記透光部材の周縁所定位置または後面所定位置に設けられたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用照明灯具。
- 前記第2の発光素子は、前記透光部材の前面所定位置に設けられたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用照明灯具。
