Claims (9)
- Household appliance, in particular washing machine (1) or dryer, having a housing (3), in which a laundry drum (11) is rotatably mounted in a wash tub (13), which is connected to the housing (3) by way of at least one support element (31) of a vibration damping device (17, 31, 33), wherein the support element (31) is hinged to the housing (3) by interposition of a pivot lever (33), wherein the pivot lever (33) and/or the support element (31) can be pivoted by overcoming a frictional force predetermined for damping operationally specific oscillations of the wash tub (13), wherein the pivot lever (33) is hinged to the housing (3) by way of a first pivot hinge (37) about a first pivot axis (39) fixed to a housing side wall (35),
characterised in that the pivot lever (33) is hinged to the support element (31) by way of a second rotary hinge (47) about a second pivot axis (49) which is moveable relative to the housing (3), wherein the support element (31) is hinged to the wash tub (13) by way of a third rotary hinge (51) which is fixed to the wash tub, and wherein the first, second and/or third rotary hinge (37, 47, 51) has a bearing sleeve (41), in which at least one bearing pin (43) is rotatably mounted with a press fit, by means of which the heat produced by the friction is discharged. - Household appliance according to claim 1, characterised in that the first pivot axis (39) is at a height which is remote from a household appliance base (23).
- Household appliance according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the first pivot axis attaches to the housing by means of a support (45), in order to afford rigidity to the housing structure.
- Household appliance according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the bearing pin (43) is tubular, and embodied from a heat-conducting, in particular metallic material.
- Household appliance according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the support element (31) and/or the pivot lever (33) are rigid components.
- Household appliance according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the support element (31) is hinged pivotably to the wash tub (13) about a third pivot axis by way of the third rotary hinge (51), wherein a length (a) of the support element (31) between the second pivot axis (49) and the third pivot axis is less than twice the length (b) of the pivot lever (33) between the first pivot axis (39) and the second pivot axis (49).
- Household appliance according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that operationally specific vibrations of the wash tub (13) are introduced into the support element (31) and transmitted herethrough along a force of action line (f) to the support lever (31), wherein the force of action line (f) is distanced from the first rotary hinge (37) by an effective length of lever arm (1) which is aligned at right angles to the force of action line (f).
- Household appliance according to claim 7, characterised in that the effective length of lever arm (1) varies between the support element (31) and the first rotary hinge (37) on account of operationally specific vibrations of the wash tub (13).
- Household appliance according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that with reference to a vertical central plane of the household appliance, at least two support elements (31) arranged on both sides of the container support the wash tub (13).
