An der Rückseite des Garraums 2 mit geringem Abstand zur rückseitigen Muffelwand 3 befindet sich eine Prallwand 4, hinter der ein Gebläse 5 angeordnet ist, das von einem ringförmigen Heizelement umgeben sein kann. Unmittelbar vor dem Gebläse 5 besitzt die Prallwand 4 eine Luftansaugöffnung 6 sowie randseitig mehrere Ausströmöffnungen, z. B. mit der Funktion als dem Gebläse 5 unmittelbar zugeordnete Luftleitelemente 7, die beim Garprozess Heißluft in den Garraum befördern sollen.
