Definitions

  • the invention relates to a ski glove with underarm protector, which is detachably connected to the ski glove.
  • underarm protectors In ski racing, it has become common for ski racers to use underarm protectors to protect the forearm from being hit by the marker poles.
  • the forearm protectors should be light, so as not to interfere with the ski racer; On the other hand, they should also provide effective protection.
  • underarm protectors sometimes the problem arises that they twist in the course of the race against the forearm, so that the protector can no longer fulfill its actual task.
  • document WO-A-2007/085590 describes a forearm guard comprising a rail which may be connected directly to the glove.
  • the ski glove has two concentrically arranged concentrically cuffs, wherein the front end of the forearm protector is positioned and fastened between the two cuffs.
  • the front end of the forearm protector is protected on the ski glove and also covered by the outer cuff. Even strikes through the pole do not cause the protector to shift or twist against the forearm. Protector and glove form a unit.
  • the advantage of this arrangement is that the forearm protector can be kept relatively narrow and thus light, so it does not affect the ski racer in his freedom of movement.
  • the outer side of the inner cuff and the inner side of the outer cuff are each provided with a hook-and-loop fastener, which interact in each case with the upper side or the lower side of the lower arm protector. This means that while the inside of the outer cuff and the outside of the inner cuff itself do not catch on each other, they hold the front end of the forearm protector in place.
  • the outer cuff is designed as an openable cuff, which is firmly connected to the back of the ski glove with the inner cuff, wherein the laterally beyond the back of the hand protruding loose ends of the cuff are connected to each other via a hook and loop fastener.
