Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production de feuillards à chaud en acier aux caractéristiques de matériau réglables sur la section transversale de la bande. Une masse fondue d'acier qui est cédée par une rigole de coulée à un convoyeur de coulée tournant d'une installation horizontale de coulée de bandes minces, durcit en une bande mince d'une épaisseur comprise entre 6 et 20 mm et la bande mince, une fois durcie à coeur, est soumise à un processus de laminage à chaud. Un jet de gaz ou de plasma constitué d'éléments métalliques et/ou non métalliques agissant sur les caractéristiques de matériau exerce une influence sur la masse d'acier encore liquide et/ou en amorce de durcissement, par modification de l'énergie cinétique agissante de la pression partielle de gaz et/ou de la température appliquée, la concentration des éléments introduits par le jet de gaz ou de plasma dans la masse fondue à l'intérieur de laquelle ils diffusent, est réglée sur l'épaisseur et la largeur de la bande.
