Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen netzbetreibbaren Bodenstaubsauger mit einem Gehäuse, umfassend eine als Standfläche benutzbare Rückwand und Seitenwände, wobei in der Rückwand ein Steckerschacht zur Aufnahme eines Netzsteckers angeordnet ist.
  • Ein solcher Staubsauger besitzt in bekannter Weise ein Netzkabel mit einem Netzstecker, über welchen der Staubsauger an das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist. Bei Bodenstaubsaugern ist es üblich, im Inneren des Gehäuses eine Kabeltrommel anzuordnen, auf die das Netzkabel mit Hilfe einer automatischen Wickelvorrichtung aufwickelbar ist ( DE 10 2008 003 351 A1 ). Im aufgewickelten Zustand ragt dann der Netzstecker aus einem Steckerschacht, aus dem er über eine Zugriffsöffnung entnommen werden kann. Bei dem bekannten Bodenstaubsauger ist der Steckerschacht samt Zugriffsöffnung in der Gehäuserückwand angeordnet. In dieser Position muss der Netzstecker so weit im Steckerschacht liegen, dass die Kontakte sich im Inneren des Steckerschachts befinden und beim Abstellen des Staubsaugers auf der Rückwand nicht den Boden berühren. Dies gilt für alle Ländervarianten von Netzsteckern. Bei der notwendigen Tiefe der Steckerschächte ist deshalb eine Entnahme des Netzsteckers schwierig.
  • Die EP 1 181 886 A2 zeigt einen Staubsauger, bei dem Rückwand und Seitenwand zylinderförmig ineinander übergehen. Der Steckerschacht ist bei diesem Staubsauger etwa in der Ein-Uhr-Position zwischen Rückwand und Seitenwand angeordnet.
  • Der Erfindung stellt sich somit das Problem, bei einem Bodenstaubsauger der eingangs genannten Art die Entnahme des Netzsteckers zu erleichtern.
  • Erfindungsgemäß wird dieses Problem durch einen Bodenstaubsauger mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1 gelöst. Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen und Weiterbildungen der Erfindung ergeben sich aus den nachfolgenden Unteransprüchen.
  • Die mit der Erfindung erreichbaren Vorteile ergeben sich dadurch, dass sich die Zugriffsöffnung des Steckerschachts bis in eine Seitenwand des Gehäuses erstreckt. Hierdurch wird der Zugriffsbereich auf den Netzstecker vergrößert, ohne dass der Querschnitt des Steckerschachts erweitert werden muss. Dabei ist es insbesondere vorteilhaft, wenn der sich in die Seitenwand erstreckende Teil der Zugriffsöffnung das Basisteil des Steckers wenigstens teilweise freigibt. Der Benutzer muss dann nicht mehr an den glatten und schwer zu greifenden Kontakten ziehen.
  • Es ist zweckmäßig, wenn der sich in die Seitenwand erstreckende Teil der Zugriffsöffnung einen dreieckigen Grundriss besitzt. Alternativ könnte ein halbkreisförmiger Grundriss zum Einsatz kommen.
  • Durch einen erweiterten Steckerschacht-Bereich unterhalb des Netzsteckers kann der Benutzer den Stecker einfacher von mehreren Seiten greifen.
  • Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in den Zeichnungen rein schematisch dargestellt und wird nachfolgend näher beschrieben. Es zeigt
    • Figur 1 die Rückansicht eines Bodenstaubsaugers,
    • Figur 2 eine perspektivische Ansicht des Bodenstaubsaugers gemäß Figur 1, und Figur 3 den auf die Rückwand gestellten Bodenstaubsauger.
  • Die Figuren 1 bis 3 zeigen einen erfindungsgemäß ausgebildeten Bodenstaubsauger 1 in verschiedenen Ansichten. Aus der in Figur 1 gezeigten Rückansicht ist erkennbar, dass im Gehäuse 2 des Staubsaugers 1 ein Steckerschacht 3 angeordnet ist, aus dem ein Netzstecker 4 ragt. Die Figur zeigt außerdem, dass die äußere Kontur 5 des Steckerschachts 3, welche die Zugriffsöffnung 6 definiert, asymmetrisch ausgebildet ist. Das mit dem Netzstecker 4 verbundene Netzkabel ist in bekannter Weise auf eine im Gehäuse 2 befindliche Kabeltrommel gewickelt. Netzkabel und Kabeltrommel sind aufgrund ihrer Anordnung im Gehäuse 2 in den Figuren nicht erkennbar.
  • Figur 2 zeigt, dass sich die Zugriffsöffnung 6 des erfindungsgemäßen Staubsaugers 1 nicht nur in der Gehäuserückwand 7, sondern bis in die in Fahrtrichtung rechte Seitenwand 8 erstreckt. Dabei ist ein im Grundriss dreieckiger Ausschnitt 9 der Zugriffsöffnung 6 so tief in die Seitenwand 8 gezogen, dass das Basisteil 10 des Netzsteckers 4 teilweise freigegeben ist und der Benutzer den Stecker 4 dort greifen kann. Der Stecker 4 muss dann nicht mehr an den Kontakten 11 herausgezogen werden. Durch einen erweiterten Steckerschacht-Bereich 12 unterhalb des Netzsteckers 4 kann der Benutzer den Stecker 4 einfacher von mehreren Seiten greifen.
  • In Figur 3 ist erkennbar, dass die Kontakte 11 des Netztsteckers 4 auch bei auf der Gehäuserückwand 7 stehendem Staubsauger 1 nicht den Boden 13 berühren.

Claims (4)

  1. Netzbetreibbarer Bodenstaubsauger (1) mit einem Gehäuse (2), umfassend eine als Standfläche benutzbare Rückwand (7) und Seitenwände (8), wobei in der Rückwand (7) ein Steckerschacht (3) zur Aufnahme eines Netzsteckers (4) angeordnet ist,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass sich die Zugriffsöffnung (6) des Steckerschachts (3) bis in eine der Seitenwände (8) des Gehäuses (2) erstreckt.
  2. Bodenstaubsauger (1) nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass der sich in die Seitenwand (8) erstreckende Teil (9) der Zugriffsöffnung (6) das Basisteil (10) des Steckers (4) wenigstens teilweise freigibt.
  3. Bodenstaubsauger (1) nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass der sich in die Seitenwand (8) erstreckende Teil (9) der Zugriffsöffnung (6) einen dreieckigen Grundriss besitzt.
  4. Bodenstaubsauger (1) nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass der Steckerschacht (3) im Bereich (12) unterhalb des Netzsteckers (4) erweitert ist.
