Definitions
- the invention relates to a wall construction for a radiation protection bunker and a radiation protection bunker having the wall construction.
- Radiation protection bunkers are radiation shielding rooms, in particular as linear accelerator bunkers, for medical radiation therapy.
- One possible embodiment of such systems is a radiation protection bunker with a so-called labyrinth guide.
- the entrance area is kept free by an additional lock wall from both the primary and the secondary radiation.
- the lock area is separated via a door from the area outside the radiation protection bunker.
- a disadvantage of such a construction is the high space requirement for the lock area, which must also be completely surrounded with radiation protection material, which results in high construction costs, since corresponding radiation-shielding material is cost-intensive.
- the invention is therefore based on the object to improve the aforementioned problems in terms of opening time, weight and cubature and the associated increase in service life and reduction of design costs.
- the invention proposes a wall construction of a radiation protection bunker with a passage in the interior of the radiation protection bunker, wherein the wall construction has at least a first and a second wall portion in the form of separate wall elements, and the first and the second wall portion are arranged offset from one another wherein one of the wall sections is offset toward the interior of the radiation protection bin, the offset substantially corresponds to the wall thickness of one of the wall sections, and an overlap region is present in which the wall sections overlap, wherein one of the two wall sections has a partial area which functions as a door leaf and from a first, passage-closing position to a second, passage releasing position is movable, wherein the moving along the overlap region, and the partial region has a narrow side, which abuts in the first position to a corresponding region of the portion having the wall portion.
- the advantage here is that by integrating the passage in the wall section and the provision of an opening and closing function within the wall section on the one hand, the cubature of the bunker is reduced, continue no overlapping areas as they are available in gate systems, provided so that the opening and shutter speeds are reduced, while reducing the mass of the gates, which increases the use of technical equipment (three more patients per day and more) and saves material costs. Furthermore, by integrating the area occluding the passage into the wall construction, the tunneling effect is greatly reduced.
- the wall thickness of the offset to the interior of the radiation protection bunker wall section is carried out in the overlapping diagonal decreasing.
- the angle of the diagonal is selected such that the wall thickness of the wall section offset relative to the interior of the radiation protection bunker has the required nominal thickness at the end of the overlapping area.
- the offset is a parallel offset. This causes the two wall sections are arranged parallel to each other and in this way the simplest possible construction of the wall construction is made possible.
- a further teaching of the invention provides that the wall section having the partial area has a fall above the partial area. In this way, the size of the passage can be reduced to the minimum necessary degree, which at the same time causes a reduction of the masses to be moved of the movable portion. At the same time, the radiation protection effect can be maintained.
- a further teaching of the invention provides that the narrow side of the partial area in the second position is substantially aligned with the beginning of the overlapping area. This way, too, ensures that no unnecessary movements of the door masses and thus no unnecessary movement time are necessary. At the same time, the radiation absorbing ability is maintained.
- the partial area and the associated wall section have the same wall thickness.
- the subregion and the wall sections are made of the same material, preferably of radiation-protective concrete and / or baryta concrete, and / or have the same absorption capacity. This makes it possible to reduce the cubature and to ensure uniform Strahlungsabsorbtions concentrateen also with constant absorption effect with respect to the radiation.
- the invention provides that it has a wall construction of the type described above and has a daylight opening, which is arranged in the shell of the radiation protection bunker, that the light emission takes place in the region of the releasable through the subregion passage.
- a daylight opening makes it possible to make the access area for the patient friendlier, so also a reduction of any existing unpleasant feelings on the patient side is effected.
- cost-saving daylight This effect is additionally improved if the light emission preferably takes place in the region above the passageway which can be opened by the subregion.
- the daylight aperture is provided by a light well, which is preferably separated from the environment with glass elements.
- the area of the daylight opening makes up about 1/6 or more of the interior bunker area.
- a radiation protection bunker 100 has a treatment space 105 in which a linear accelerator 110 is arranged.
- the radiation protection bunker is formed by a sole 130, walls 140, 141, 142 and 143 which function both as outer and as inner walls. Above a ceiling 135 is arranged, which merges into a roof 115.
- the walls 140, 141, 143 may be exterior walls.
- two treatment rooms 105 are provided, which are separated by a wall 142.
- a wall construction 10 is provided which forms the fourth wall. This wall construction is intended for one treatment room each.
- the linear accelerator 110 emits radiation for treatment purposes. This radiation starts from an isocenter 150.
- the wall sections lying in the direct area of the radiation starting from the isocenter 150 are designed as reinforced wall areas 144, 145, 146 and as reinforced ceiling area 136.
- a light well 120 is provided which has glass as a separation 121 and a cover 122.
- the light incident through the light well 120 illuminates a light space 17, which is located in the treatment room 105 behind the wall construction 10 and a passage 101, the component the wall construction 10 is illuminated.
- the natural incidence of light saves costs for the lighting and creates a friendly atmosphere for the patients.
- the construction of the bunker is in Fig. 1 to Fig. 3 shown.
- the wall construction 10 is in Fig. 3 and enlarged in Fig. 4 shown.
- the wall construction 10 consists of a first wall section 11 and a second wall section 12.
- the second wall section 12 is arranged offset parallel to the first wall section 11 in the treatment space 105. This offset is offset 13 in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 shown.
- the first wall section 11 and offset by the offset 13 second wall section 12 have an overlap region 14.
- the second wall section 12, which is offset inwards into the treatment space 105 has a bevelled area 16.
- the Beveled portion 16 an opening of the passage 101 is effected, so that the so-called tunnel effect when passing through the passage for the patient is reduced or avoided.
- the wall construction 10 has the passage 101 through which the patients and employees enter the treatment room 105.
- a partial region 15 is provided in the first wall section 11, which acts as a door leaf.
- the door leaf 15 is movable between a first position A and a second position B in the direction of movement 10 parallel to the overlapping region 14.
- the first position A represents the closed position of the passage 101
- the second position B represents the open position of the passage 101.
- the door leaf 15 is for example via rollers (not shown) on rails (not shown) movable and via a drive (not shown), for example, an electric motor with gearbox, driven.
- a lintel 18 is arranged, which has a bevel 19 in the region of the transition into the ceiling 135 (see Fig. 1 and 2 ).
- the partial region 15 has a narrow side 23, on which contact strips 20 are arranged.
- the wall section 11 likewise has a narrow side 24 in the corresponding area, which has depressions 25 for receiving the contact strips 20.
- Sensors 21 are provided in the narrow side 24 of the first wall section 11. Over the contact strips 20 and the sensors 21, the opening and closing of the door is monitored and at the same time ensures that no one is squeezed when closing the gate in the passage 101.

Description
Dabei zeigen:

Fig.3 .
Fig. 1 bis Fig. 3 dargestellt. - Die Wandkonstruktion 10 ist in
Fig. 3 und vergrößert inFig. 4 dargestellt.
Fig. 1 und2 ).
