Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Gliederheizkessel aus Gusseisen oder Aluminium, insbesondere Brennwertkessel, mit im Wesentlichen ringförmigen Gliedern, wobei ein Vorderglied (1), ein deckelförmiges Hinterglied (2) und mindestens ein Mittelglied (3) vorgesehen sind, die einen Brennraum (4) mit einem im Wesentlichen umgebenden Wärmetauscher aus einem Gliederblock bilden, dessen ringförmige Wasserräume (5, 5', 5") miteinander über mindestens eine Nabe (6, 6') in Verbindung stehen und welcher spaltartige Heizgaszüge aufweist, mit einem Rücklaufanschluss (RL) im unteren und einem Vorlaufanschluss (VL) im oberen Bereich des Hintergliedes (2) sowie mit mindestens zwei Zugmitteln zum Zusammenhalten des Gliederblockes, wobei der Wärmetauscher als Heizgaszüge jeweils ringförmige Spalte (7) zwischen zwei benachbarten Gliedern (1, 2, 3) mit einer einander zugeordneten Geometrie aufweist, welche jeweils ausgehend vom Brennraum (4) etwa radial nach außen verlaufen und in einen Abgassammelraum auf der Außenseite der Glieder (1, 2, 3) einmünden.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Gliederheizkessel aus Gusseisen oder Aluminium insbesondere im Hinblick auf Kompaktheit und Robustheit zu optimieren. Gekennzeichnet ist die Erfindung dadurch, dass die einzelnen Glieder (1, 2, 3) heizwasserseitig seriell durchströmt werden, wobei Rücklaufwasser über den Rücklaufanschluss (RL) in das Hinterglied gelangt, ein Überströmen in ein benachbartes Glied (1, 2, 3) im Bereich der oberen Nabe (6) erfolgt, die unteren Naben (6') gegeneinander abgedichtet sind, das Vorderglied (1) und das mindestens eine Mittelglied (3), ausgehend von der oberen Nabe (6), ringförmig durchströmt werden und wobei Vorlaufwasser durch einen zum umgebenden Wasserraum (5, 5', 5") abgedichteten Vorlaufkanal (8) aus dem oberen Bereich des Vordergliedes (1) zum Vorlaufanschluss (VL) im Hinterglied (2) geführt wird.
