Definitions
- an adsorber / desorber heat exchanger in which the adsorbent in the form of loose zeolite granules is applied to the metallic fins of a heat exchanger.
- An advantage of this solution is that a comparatively large adsorbent surface is available for the transport of refrigerant.
- a disadvantage is the poor heat transfer between the adsorbent in the form of loose zeolite granules and the metallic carrier material of the heat exchanger.
- a correspondingly corrosion-resistant and stable adsorber element is to be created.
- a method in which a water-based hybrid paint is applied in a first step to form a corrosion protection layer on a metallic carrier element, wherein in a second step to achieve a partial cross-linking of the hybrid paint is pre-dried, in which in a third step pre-dried, partially crosslinked hybrid paint an adsorbent layer, which is optionally formed of zeolite or silica gel, is applied, and in which in a fourth step, the hybrid paint and the adsorbent layer are thermally cured.
- the carrier element is provided with a coating of a water-based hybrid coating and the adsorbent layer applied to the predried, partially cross-linked hybrid coating.
- a coating method or adsorber element in which the adsorbent layer together with a corrosion protection serving, water-based hybrid paint is applied in a special way on the support element or is.
- a hybrid paint is a highly effective corrosion protection coating, for example, for aluminum to understand that consists of hybrid epoxy or polyurethane paint systems.
- these organic-inorganic matrix hybrid coating systems are based on polymeric, cross-linked masses of modified polysiloxanes which are prepared in a sol-gel process.
- the coating systems are, as claimed, transferred to their application on the substrate in a thermal process by dehydration and condensation reaction in the gel state and thus irreversibly crosslinked. The result is interspersed, so-called "interpenetrating" inorganic and organic networks, which combine the favorable properties of both networks.
- These paint systems are from the DE 101 52 853 A1 to which reference is made in this respect to the full extent.
- the former include fluorosilane-based active end groups, which give the surface an exceptionally high hydrophobic and oleophobic anti-adhesion property.
- This type of protective lacquer produces an extremely good anti-corrosion property. It is applied by spraying, dipping or flooding and thermally cured at temperatures of 120 ° C to 180 ° C for ten minutes to two hours. This lacquer layer is applied in a layer thickness of 5 ⁇ m and achieves a salt spray test of more than 2000 hours. Due to the strong hydrophobicity and non-stick properties, however, it is not possible on this protective layer another silicate layer (for Example, a zeolite layer) apply and bind permanently.
- silicate layer for Example, a zeolite layer
- a modified paint system which also builds on the same organic-inorganic matrix, but dispenses with the fluorine-containing end groups and is water-based instead of the solvent component.
- the omission of the fluorine-containing end groups leads to a better wettability of the protective layer with the zeolite suspension.
- the water-based paint system also has free OH groups, which during the polymerization process by hydrogen bonding and dehydration (condensation reaction), the silicate layer, especially zeolite layer, firmly connected to the paint layer.
- the application form developed according to the invention for constructing a double layer of inorganic-organic hybrid paint 2 and an adsorbent layer 3 is a so-called "wet-in-part crosslinked application".
- the hybrid coating system is applied by spraying, dipping or flooding onto the metallic carrier element 1, preferably an aluminum substrate (alternatively also copper or stainless steel is considered).
- This lacquer layer is preferably applied in a layer thickness of about 5 microns to 10 microns and then pre-dried at temperatures of 70 ° C to 90 ° C for 10 minutes to 30 minutes.
- FIG. 2 this state is shown schematically. It is shown that the silicon hydrocarbon chains [(-Si-CH 2 -) chains] of the coating system are still largely connected via HydroxiG groups [OH groups] with each other and towards the substrate and only a few oxygen bridges [- O-] exist.
- FIG. 3 shows in a schematic representation how the attachment of the zeolite or silica gel to the organic-inorganic Hybrid paint system initially also takes place via hydrogen bonds to the paint surface. By the subsequent thermal treatment, a condensation reaction is then generated with elimination of water, which causes an intensive connection to the paint layer via oxygen bridges and thus leads to a solid and permanent connection.
- a prepared according to the application method "wet-on-teilvernetzt" double layer of hybrid paint 2 and an adsorbent 3 allows corrosion resistance of the metallic support member 1 in salt spray test of more than 2000 hours and at the same time ensures the solid and permanent connection of the adsorbent 3 with the hybrid paint. 2 Furthermore, in this mode of application, the functionality of the adsorbent layer 3 to the outside is completely retained.
- the corrosion protection and the zeolite layer is applied temporally and spatially independently.
- This application has the advantage that the application of the two very different materials can be temporally and spatially independent of each other.
- the bonding of the organic-inorganic hybrid coating system to the substrate initially takes place via hydrogen bonds between the paint and the metal surface.
- the subsequent thermal treatment is then followed by a condensation reaction with elimination of water intensive networking within the lacquer layer and there is a strong chemical bonding of the lacquer layer via oxygen bridges to the substrate.
- This process is exemplary in FIG. 4 shown.
- the model applies both to the connection of the paint system to the metal surface and to the silicate or zeolite layer.
- the zeolite suspension was applied in the so-called "wet-on-wet" job to the still-moist corrosion protection layer.
- the application of the organic-inorganic paint layer by spraying, Dipping or flooding, which serves as a corrosion protection layer.
- the zeolite layer was applied as a second layer on the still moist protective film on the aluminum substrate. This was also done by spraying, dipping or flooding. Thereafter, both layers were subjected to a thermal treatment at 120 ° C to 180 ° C for 10 minutes to 120 minutes, thereby curing both layers at the same time.

Description
- Figur 1
- schematisch das Trägerelement mit Lack- und Adsorbentenschicht;
- Figur 2
- modellhaft den Bindemechanismus des Lacksystems durch die Vortrocknung;
- Figur 3
- schematisch die Vernetzung des Lacksystems und
- Figur 4
- In
