Definitions

  • the invention relates to a freight container with robust and easy-to-use doors.
  • Cargo containers must be loaded and unloaded quickly and therefore usually have a side wall that can either be completely removed, folded or opened in the form of a door.
  • document DE 38 05 981 A1 discloses a collapsible container, the two side walls each having two inwardly hinged areas, so that the side walls can be folded onto the bottom of the container; the roof of the container is lowered onto the side walls. Between the roof and the folded side walls, there is a space to accommodate the two end walls parallel to the roof. As a result, the container can be folded tightly to allow easy handling of an empty container in the cargo.
  • a rotating and mounting structure of the side walls and a connecting device of the end walls are included.
  • the manner in which this door can be opened is crucial for fast loading and unloading.
  • the person skilled in various different door suspensions are known.
  • the opening or closing of doors is generally done by hinges that allow only a pivoting of the door or by means of rollers and slides that allow only a sliding of the door.
  • the hinges can also be stored sliding.
  • the door can be unintentional be easily moved out of its closed position.
  • this construction has a lower robustness against mechanical stresses on the inside and / or outside of the door.
  • the door hangers must also be capable of allowing the cargo container to collapse.
  • the invention is based on the object to provide a collapsible freight container with at least one door, which is characterized by at least one robust, easy and reliable to open and close door.

  • sliding guide here refers to all types of guides that are suitable to give the door in a guide rail additional support to prevent tilting of the door when moving the door.
  • the sliding guide must reach into the guide rail in a suitable manner.
  • Suitable forms of sliding guide are, for example, angle with a horizontal leg which is fixed vertically to the door frame and a vertical leg attached to the horizontal leg, which extends at a suitable distance from the door frame parallel to the door frame. This vertical leg is inserted through a vertical slot as a recess in the guide rail and prevents by sliding on the lower part of the guide rail tilting the door in the direction of the ground by the force acting on the door gravity.

  • the term "rod” refers to any elongated shapes suitable for forming a door hinge.
  • the rod according to this invention may have different thicknesses or cross sections, with a circular cross section being preferred.
  • This rod is attached to the door, preferably on the door frame, and extends in a horizontal direction around the side wall.
  • the term "viewed in the horizontal direction” does not refer to the horizontal orientation of the rod, but the direction in which the rod passes around the side wall.
  • the rod extends around the post of the side wall and, in one embodiment, extends a few centimeters beyond the post along the side wall.
  • the rod is bent on the side wall side by 90 ° down towards the bottom and extends a few centimeters in this direction.
  • This vertical part of the door hinge is referred to here as a pin.
  • the pin may have at its lower end a flat side or a hemispherical rounding.
  • the pin engages freely rotatable in a first hole or a first recess in the guide rail. The door is thus held by the door hinge by its weight in the guide rail, so that no further fasteners for a secure grip of the door are needed.
  • the arrangement of the pin in the first hole or the first recess fixes the door hinge fixed in the horizontal direction in the guide rail, while the door joint on the Pin vertically movable and also from the first hole or the first recess by lifting (lifting) of the door is removable.

This would be an undesirable amount of work.
  • the rear stop should preferably be a door width behind the front edge of the side wall, preferably a door width minus 5 cm behind the front edge of the side wall, to further facilitate operation of the door.
  • the front edge of the side wall is that part of the side wall that protrudes farthest from the outside to the door of the container to the viewer.

  • This ledge should be substantially vertical (perpendicular) to the side wall to prevent the door from slipping upwards, the term “substantially” allowing some deviation in the orientation of the vertical from the vertical on the side wall.
  • the term “bar” includes all forms that prevent slipping out of the door hinge still up from the guide rail. In this respect, the bar can also be formed as an angle.
  • the guide rail comprises a substantially U-shaped profile as the upper part and a substantially vertical to the side wall projecting bar as the lower part.

  • the side wall adjacent to the door includes two guide rails and the door has two door hinges for pivoting the door and for sliding the door along the guide rail.
  • pivoting is here the opening and closing of the door in the first hole or in the first recess located pin, wherein the door is rotated about the vertical axis of rotation of the pin in the first hole or the first recess.
  • a door with two door hinges for example with a first door hinge on the upper part of the door or the door frame and with a second door hinge on the lower part of the door or the door frame, is stored much more robust on the side wall than a door with only one door hinge, preferably at half the height of the door is attached to the door or door frame.
  • Doors with two hinges at the top and bottom can not be bent as easily as they would with doors with only one door hinge due to loads in the lower or upper area. Since each door hinge requires a guide rail to move the door, two guide rails also have two guide rails on the side wall. Especially with two door hinges there is an increased risk of Verkantens, which can lead in extreme cases, without further measures to guide the door when moving even for setting the door in a tilted position. This setting can be so strong that the door can not be made movable again without tools. In this case, the door can possibly be severely damaged, so that their function is limited or made completely impossible. Therefore, preventing the door from tilting by means of one or more guide rails (depending on the number of door hinges) and a corresponding sliding guide is essential for flawless and maintenance-free operation of the doors.

  • This attachment means may be, for example, a lock, a door catch, a slide bolt, a hook or a spring.
  • the fastener is hinged to the top of the door and includes a ring-like throw-over means for overlying a second fastener therefor or for laying over the door frame adjacent the door of the other door of the double-wing door.
  • the top of the door indicates the side of the door that is the side of the door away from the container bottom.
  • the term "ring-like" denotes any form of throw-over means forming a closed ring with a hole in the middle. This ring may be circular or elongated in shape.

  • This angle can be, depending on the embodiment, for example, 30 ° or 60 °.
  • An angle of 45 ° is a particularly favorable angle, since the throw-over means sits sufficiently firmly on the other door and has a manageable size.
  • the seat would not be as strong and on the other hand, the dimension of the fastener for a sufficiently tight fit very large and thus difficult to handle.
