Danach kann das Befestigungselement, welches eine Schraube darstellen kann, und das glockenförmige Teil mit dem Zentrierstück verbindet, entfernt werden. Um das glockenförmige Teil senkrecht nach unten zu entfernen, wird das Zentrierstück mittels Werkzeug aus dem Rohrende herausgeschraubt wobei es einen Druck auf das glockenförmige Teil ausübt und dieses nach unten aus dem gebildeten Hohlraum herausgedrückt wird.
Damit ist ein sauberes und unkompliziertes Entfernen des glockenförmigen Elementes aus dem Hohlraum möglich, wobei seitliche Kräfte nicht auftreten und es nicht zum Verdrehen des glockenförmigen Elementes kommt.
