Claims (11)

  1. Verfahren zum Verpacken wenigstens eines Gegenstandes mit Hilfe einer rohrförmigen Schrumpfmanschette (1), die eine Symmetrieachse hat und durch einen endseitigen Rand (3) und, auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite, durch einen Ansetzrand (4) begrenzt ist, mit dem die Manschette auf den Gegenstand aufgestreift wird, wobei dieses Verfahren die folgenden Phasen umfaßt:
    - Ausbilden einer Schrumpfmanschette (1),
    - Öffnen der Schrumpfmanschette (1), um ihr Aufstreifen mit ihrem Ansetzrand (4) auf den Gegenstand zu ermöglichen,
    - Anbringen der Schrumpfmanschette (1), damit sie den Gegenstand umschließt,
    - Erhitzen der Schrumpfmanschette (1) auf eine Temperatur, die ausreichend ist, um ihr Zusammenziehen um den Gegenstand herum zu bewirken,
    gekennzeichnet durch:
    - die Ausbildung einer Schrumpfmanschette (1), die ein Griffband (6) begrenzt, das sich zwischen dem endseitigen Rand (3) und einer Grenze für das Aufstreifen der Schrumpfmanschette (1) auf den Gegentand erstreckt,
    - die Ausbildung in dem Griffband (6) von wenigstens zwei Ausschnitten (12), die bezogen auf die Symmetrieachse der Manschette einander symmetrisch gegenüberliegen,
    - das Anbringen der Manschette (1) um den Gegenstand herum bis zur Aufstreifgrenze,
    - das Schrumpfen des Griffbandes (6) während des Erhitzens der Manschette, so daß die Ausschnitte (12) Öffnungen bilden, welche mit dem endseitigen Rand einen sich außerhalb des Gegenstandes erstreckenden Griff (17) begrenzen.
  2. Verpackungsverfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Phase des Ausbildens der Ausschnitte (12) wenigstens ein Ausstanzen eines Teils der Manschette umfaßt.
  3. Verpackungsverfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Phase des Ausbildens der Ausschnitte (12) wenigstens ein Stanzen der Manschette umfaßt.
  4. Verpackungsverfahren nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich an das Stanzen der Manschette (1) die Ausbildung von Abschlußstellen an den Enden der Ausschnitte (12) anschließt.
  5. Verpackungsverfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Phase des Ausbildens der Ausschnitte ein Ausstanzen eines Teils der Manschette umfaßt, um ein Loch zum Einhängen zu bilden.
  6. Verpackungsverfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es darin besteht, die Ausschnitte (12) derart auszubilden, daß sie eine zu dem endseitigen Rand (3) im wesentlichen parallel verlaufende Haupterstreckungsrichtung aufweisen.
  7. Verpackungsverfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es darin besteht, vor dem Erhitzen auf dem Gegenstand ein abnehmbares Rohr (23) zur Aufnahme des Griffbandes (6) zu positionieren, wobei dieses abnehmbare Rohr nach Schrumpfen der Manschette entfernt wird.
  8. Verpackungsverfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es darin besteht, die Manschette aus wenigstens einer Folie aus wärmeschrumpfbarem Kunststoff, die sich von ihrem Ansetzrand (4) bis zu ihrem endseitigen Rand (3) durchgehend erstreckt, herzustellen.
  9. Verpackungsschrumpfmanschette (1), die aus wenigstens einem Film oder einer Hülle aus wärmeschrumpfbarem Kunststoff hergestellt ist und eine Rohrform aufweist, die durch einen endseitigen Rand (3) und, auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite, durch einen Ansetzrand (4) begrenzt ist, mit dem die Manschette auf wenigstens einen Gegenstand (2) aufgestreift wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Manschette ein Griffband (6) umfaßt, das sich zwischen dem endseitigen Rand (3) und einer Grenze (8) für das Aufstreifen der Manschette auf den Gegentand erstreckt, wobei dieses Griffband (6) wenigstens zwei Ausschnitte (12) umfaßt, die bezogen auf die Symmetrieachse (X) der Manschette einander symmetrisch gegenüberliegen, wobei diese Ausschnitte (12) Öffnungen bilden, welche geeignet sind, mit dem endseitigen Rand einen Griff (17) zu bilden.
  10. Verpackung, umfassend wenigstens einen Gegenstand (2) und eine unter Hitze geschrumpfte Verpackungsmanschette (1), welche den Gegenstand umschließt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die unter Hitze geschrumpfte Manschette außerhalb des Gegenstandes (2) ein unter Hitze geschrumpftes Griffband (6) umfaßt, welches zwei einander symmetrisch gegenüberliegende Öffnungen (12) aufweist, die mit dem dem Ansetzrand (4) der unter Hitze geschrumpften Verpackungsmanschette gegenüberliegenden endseitigen Rand (3) einen Griff (17) begrenzen.
  11. Verpackung nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ausschnitte (12) mit dem endseitigen Rand (3) zwei Streifen (15) bestehen lassen, welche sich in der Nähe und frei zueinander erstrecken.
