Definitions

  • the invention relates to the packaging of objects, and particularly the packaging of consumer products such as food, chemicals, cosmetics, or pharmaceuticals, which generally require information consumer or user, or other purely commercial information.
  • the invention relates to a envelope intended for the packaging of at least one such object a container, which packaging is of the type constituted by a sleeve made of heat-shrinkable plastic suitable for surround at least part of the object closely, and further comprising a complementary flap extending externally by superposition, being connected to the level from its lateral ends to the main portion of the sleeve by two parallel weld lines.
  • a sleeve made of heat-shrinkable plastic general to form an information carrier and / or to provide the relative immobilization of the means of opening and closing (when the object is a container).
  • the flap complementary is in principle intended to be removable, and it then serves to deliver specific information which are present on the flap itself, or on an explanatory note in the pocket formed by the flap with the main portion of the muff.
  • the aforementioned document provides for means of removal such as side stitching, arranged in two lines parallel to the generators of the nearby sleeve of its two lateral ends. These means of removal must allow the additional flap to be easily detached, without altering the sleeve in the separation zone where the flap is detached from the sleeve. It is possible to provide for the use of adhesive means instead of means of removal, but it appears that such use of adhesive means is delicate in the convenient.
  • the envelope illustrated in the above-mentioned document does not also suitable for removing the additional flap in its entirety, not in part only of it.
  • the object of the invention is to improve the envelopes of the type described in the document FR-A-2 698 851, by designing an arrangement of the additional flap which allows easy detachability of one or more parts of this flap without causing deterioration for the sleeve, while resisting forces of retraction.
  • the object of the invention is also to design a envelope that can be used not only for packaging of a single object, but also for the packaging of a group of objects by means of a sleeve with several compartments, in particular a sleeve produced in accordance with document FR-A-2 637 866 by the applicant.
  • an envelope intended for the packaging of at least one object, of the type consisting of a sleeve made of heat-shrinkable plastic able to surround tightly by a main portion at least part of the object in the case of a single object, or of the group of objects in case of plurality of objects, said sleeve further comprising a complementary flap extending externally by superposition by being connected to the level of its lateral ends at the main portion of the sleeve by two parallel weld lines, characterized in that the complementary flap has at least a reinforcement strip in which is practiced at least one cut defining the outline of a tongue gripping whose side edges extend substantially perpendicular to the direction of the strip of reinforcement, the or each cut extending beyond said strip by two slots made in the wall of the flap and forming tear caps, said flap having further a line of pits or the like extending in a direction substantially parallel to the direction of the reinforcement strip and at a distance therefrom, for allow the flap obtained by tearing off the affected portion of said flap
  • the end of cut tongue has all the qualities rigidity and permanence requirements after retraction.
  • the or each reinforcing strip extends along a generatrix of the sleeve, for example being arranged in the vicinity of one of the two weld lines connecting the complementary flap to the main portion of the sleeve.
  • the band of reinforcement can be unique, spanning the entire sleeve height, just like the stitch line or analogues, or even be produced in the form of sections disjoint aligned on the same generator of the sleeve.
  • the or each reinforcement strip can extend in one direction circumferential of the sleeve, being for example arranged in the vicinity of the upper edge or the lower edge of said muff.
  • the reinforcing strip can be unique, and extend over the available length of the complementary flap between the two weld lines connecting said flap to the main portion of the sleeve, just like the line of stings or the like, or be arranged in several sections of strip separated and aligned on the same circumferential line of the sleeve.
  • the or each reinforcing strip will be arranged against the internal face of the complementary flap.
  • the arrangement of the reinforcing strip against the inside of the flap allows to provide an impression of the or each tab on the outer face thereof.
  • traction or each tab detaches one or more several flaps obtained by tearing the portion concerned with the additional flap, this tear being able to be organized in an axial or circumferential direction.
  • the film thickness constituting the sleeve is important (for example exceeding 100 ⁇ m)
  • the complementary flap has lines of micro-perforations connecting each extension slot to the line of stings or the like.
  • the or each section can be printed on the front and / or on the back. It will naturally be possible to predict, for the same complementary flap, several flaps adjacent, identical or different sizes.
  • the film constituting the sleeve will be mono-oriented, in a longitudinal direction or transverse, and the or each reinforcing strip will extend then respectively circumferentially or axially.
  • This mono-orientation contributes to the film's ability to tear in the intended direction, which corresponds to the progressive tearing of the complementary flap as a result of a traction exerted on the associated tongue, this aptitude resulting from the lengthening of the molecular chain of the material of the film during the operation stretching.
  • the cut in the wall of the flap complementary, at the reinforcement strip, with the two extensions in the form of slits extending beyond of said reinforcing strip will preferably be carried out at flat, that is to say before the envelope is shaped for conform it into a sleeve, and organization of the two lines of weld securing the flap complementary to the portion main envelope.
  • the portion main of the sleeve also has at least one strip reinforcement arranged so that the or each strip reinforcement of the complementary flap is superimposed on that (s), to provide additional reinforcement when formation of the cut (s) made on the envelope already formatted.
  • the reinforcement strip (s) are made of plastic, from a film mono-oriented in a determined direction, said or said reinforcing strips being obtained in such a way their longitudinal direction is parallel to this determined direction. This avoids any retraction undesirable cross-section of either band reinforcement.
  • Figure 1 illustrates a container 1 packed with an envelope according to the invention denoted 100.
  • the container 1 comprises a body 2 and a closure plug 3, and the packaging envelope 100 tightly surrounds the body of this container as a result of heat shrinking thereon.
  • a container is of course given by way of example, in order to illustrate a particular case of object wrapped in using an envelope according to the invention.
  • the envelope 100 is constituted by a sleeve made of heat-shrinkable plastic, and has a main portion 101 closely surrounding the body of the containing 1, as well as an additional flap 103 extending externally by superposition being connected by its two lateral ends at the main portion 101 of the sleeve, by two parallel weld lines 102 and 105.
  • the additional flap 103 delimits with the main portion 101 of the sleeve a pocket in which is inserted a notice 10.
  • the envelope 100 thus presents a first weld line 102 which extends along a generatrix of the cylinder formed by said sleeve, and the complementary flap 103 extends externally from this weld line 102 to the second weld line 105 which also extends along a generator of the cylinder.
  • a gripping tab formed by means of a particular cut, and which allows training by tearing of a shutter, until reaching a line of punctures or the like allowing the final separation of the torn shutter.
  • the complementary flap 103 has an added reinforcement strip 106, in which a cutout 110 is made defining the outline of a grip tab 114 with side edges extend substantially perpendicular to the direction of the reinforcing strip 106.
  • the detail in FIG. 2 allows to better distinguish the arrangement of this cutout 110.
  • the cutout 110 through the wall of the flap and the strip of reinforcement 106 associated with it thus comprises a section main 111 extending in the direction of the strip of reinforcement 106 then two lateral sections 112 extending to from the ends of this central section 111, these lateral sections still extending at the level of the strip reinforcement 106.
  • the lateral sections 112 shown here are perpendicular to the central section 111.
  • the cutout 110 extends beyond the reinforcing strip 106 by two slots 113 made in the wall of the complementary flap 103.
  • the end portion of the tongue 114 thus formed is consequently doubled by the cut-out part of the reinforcing strip 106, which ensures the necessary qualities of rigidity and permanently before and after retraction of this tongue gripping.
  • the additional flap 103 also has a line of pits or the like 104 extending in a direction substantially parallel to the direction of the reinforcement strip 106 and at a distance of this one.
  • FIG. 5 thus makes it possible to distinguish this envelope 100, with its two weld lines 102, 105 and its line of stitching or the like 104 made in the complementary flap 103.
  • the reinforcing strip 106 is here disposed against the internal face of the additional flap 103, which is interesting, but in no way obligatory.
  • the width of the cutout (in a circumferential direction) has been noted , part of which d1 extends across the width of the reinforcing strip 106, and another part d2 extends into the wall of the flap 103 beyond the reinforcing strip 106 (this part d2 corresponds to the above-mentioned extension slots 113).
  • FIG. 6 The plan view of Figure 6, showing the developed inner surface of the aforementioned envelope 100, makes it possible to distinguish on the one hand the main portion 101 with its two zones denoted A, A 'associated with the line of weld 102, and its two zones, denoted C, C ′ associated with the welding line 105.
  • the reinforcing strip 106 in which is cut 110 which extends, at both ends, by the two slots 113 relating to the single wall of the complementary flap 103, therefore beyond the strip reinforcement 106.
  • the zones A 'and C' are represented with simple hatching to indicate that these areas are on the inside of the wall, so that zones A and C are represented with hatching crossed to indicate that these areas are behind the wall of the envelope and therefore seen by transparency.
  • the reinforcement strip at another location of the complementary flap, and possibly in another direction.
  • the cutting it can be of various shapes and sizes; it can be multiple or organized in successive cuts, to have a plurality of tabs making it possible to generate as many detachable shutters or coupons.
  • FIG. 7 illustrates a variant in which the positions of the reinforcing strip 106 and the line of bites or the like 104 have been reversed from the previous variant.
  • the resulting tongue 114 of the cut made at the strip of reinforcement 106 is arranged in such a way that the formation of the flap by tearing of the relevant area of the additional flap 103 is done from left to right, i.e. in a direction opposite to that of the variant previous.
  • the reinforcement strip 106 is arranged on the internal face of the additional flap 103, which in particular makes it possible to print the tongue 114 on its outer face, as well as that has been shown diagrammatically in FIG. 7.
  • the strip 106 is constituted by several disjoint sections, here two in number, these sections preferably being aligned according to the same generator of the sleeve.
  • Each of these sections presents a cutout 110 of the same type as the cutout of the variant previous, except that it concerns a height possibly weaker from the sleeve, so that one has two grip tabs 114.
  • Each tab 114 generates a flap or coupon 115 by tear in the wall of the complementary flap 103, this tear being naturally initiated by the slots of extension of each of the cutouts 110, these slots are extending themselves by the lines illustrated in lines mixed 116 corresponding to the tearing of the wall of the flap for each of the two flaps 115.
  • Figure 9 illustrates another variant differing of the previous variant by the fact that the strip of reinforcement 106 (again unique) now has a 110 multiple cut to generate three tabs 114 which are directly contiguous with each other.
  • the three flaps or coupons 115 that can be obtained by pulling on the respective tabs 114, with tear corresponding to the wall of the complementary flap 103, are directly adjacent, i.e. some lines 116 can be common to two adjacent shutters. We then obtain a real system of multiple coupons detachable.
  • Figure 10 illustrates another variant in which the reinforcing strip 106 no longer extends according to a generator of the sleeve, but in a circumferential direction of said sleeve.
  • This reinforcement strip 106 here unique, could naturally be arranged in sections successive arranged in a circumferential line.
  • he at least one cutout 110 is then provided (here three contiguous cuts forming a triple cut) allowing generate one or more flaps 115 obtained by tearing of the wall of the complementary flap 103, this tear taking place along lines 116 which are now arranged along generatrices of the sleeve, the line of pitting 104 being of course arranged accordingly, that is to say here in a circumferential direction.
  • this strip When using a single reinforcement strip which extends along a generatrix of the sleeve, this strip preferably extend over the entire height of the sleeve, just like the line of stings or the like, which considerably simplifies manufacturing. Indeed, we then uses a continuous film coated with an unrolled tape corresponding to the reinforcing strip, this film being cut transversely in sections corresponding to the height desired from the sleeve.
  • this reinforcing strip when we use a single reinforcement strip which extends in one direction circumferential of the sleeve, this reinforcing strip preferably extend over the available length of the flap complementary between the two weld lines connecting said flap to the main portion of the sleeve, as the line of stings or the like. Using a length maximum for the reinforcement strip, it is thus possible to size and / or position the cutout (s) at will depending on the needs.
  • the cuts can be made either on the envelope to flat, or once this envelope is already shaped, that is to say after completion of the two parallel lines of welding.
  • Making the cutout (s) on the envelope flat does not pose any particular difficulty.
  • the main portion of the sleeve also has a reinforcing strip. Such a variant is illustrated in Figures 12 to 14.
  • the envelope illustrated in Figures 12 to 14 differs only from the envelope of FIGS. 1 to 6 by the presence of a reinforcing strip 107 which the portion has main 101 of the sleeve, this reinforcing strip 107 being arranged in such a way that the or each reinforcing strip 106 of the complementary flap 103 is superimposed thereon.
  • a reinforcement strip 107 arranged against the inner wall of the portion main 101, but it goes without saying that we can predict also an arrangement on the outer wall.
  • the reinforcing strip 106 is produced in the form of disjoint sections, provision may also be made for realization in separate sections for the second strip of reinforcement 107, since naturally each of these sections would overlap sections 106 so perform the aforementioned reinforcement function.
  • the reinforcement strip (s) 106,107 will be made in plastic material from a mono-oriented film according to a determined direction, this or these reinforcing bands being then obtained in such a way that their longitudinal direction is parallel to this predetermined direction.
  • the reinforcement strips 106,107 can be made of polyethylene, polypropylene, or polyethylene terephthalate.
  • the film constituting the sleeve will be preferably mono-oriented, in a longitudinal direction or transverse, and the or each reinforcing strip 106 will then extend circumferentially or axially.
  • the reinforcement strip retains all its rigidity.
  • each flap 115 may be printed on the front and / or back.
  • the or each flap 115 may be printed on the front and / or back.
  • the invention applies not only to packaging of a single object, as just described, but also for packaging a group of objects using a sleeve with several compartments, in particular a sleeve produced in accordance with document FR-A-2 637 866 of the plaintiff.
  • This document describes a number of sleeves with several compartments, and in particular a sleeve of the type illustrated in FIGS. 15 to 18 for organization of these two compartments.
  • FIGS 15 to 18 thus illustrate an envelope 200 according to the invention, used to package a group of two containers 11, 12.
  • identical or homologous parts of the envelope 100 previously described will be given the same references increased by one hundred, and will not be subject to new description.
  • a second weld line 208 is provided, arranged at distance from the first weld line 202, so that define an intermediate membrane 209.
  • Line 208 is naturally parallel to line 202, and Figures 16 and 17 allow a better understanding of the form taken by this envelope 200, respectively deposited and retracted on the two objects 11, 12, and before being strung on these two objects.
  • the developed view of Figure 18 thus allows to better distinguish the zones B, B 'associated with the conformation of the second weld line 208. We find by elsewhere zones A, A 'associated with the first line of weld 202, and zones C, C 'associated with the line of welding 205, as for the previous sleeve wrapping a unique object.
