Definitions
- the invention relates to the packaging of objects, and particularly the packaging of consumer products such as food, chemicals, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical, by means of an envelope constituted by a sleeve made of heat-shrinkable plastic.
- Such heat shrink sleeves on one or several objects to be wrapped are now widely used as information carriers for consumer or user, or information purely commercial. They can also be used to ensure the relative immobilization of the opening means and closing (when the object is a container). In the in the case of several objects, these sleeves simultaneously provide the maintenance of objects and their relative positioning.
- Document FR-A-2.698.851 by the applicant thus describes an envelope constituted by a sleeve having a complementary flap extending outwardly by superimposition on the main portion of the sleeve, said flap being connected at its ends lateral to said main portion by two lines parallel welds arranged according to generators of the muff.
- the complementary flap of such an envelope known is in principle intended to be removable, and it serves then to issue additional specific information which are present on the flap itself, or on an explanatory note placed in the pocket that forms the detachable flap with the main portion of the sleeve.
- the two weld lines which define the length of this complementary flap are then relatively far apart each other so as to have a location sufficient (usually a third to a quarter of the circumference sleeve).
- the invention aims to adapt this technology heat shrink sleeve with additional flap to solve the problem of maintaining at least one elongated accessory, for example a length of tube, associated with the object or objects packed.
- the object of the invention is to solve the problem mentioned above, by designing a unit envelope eliminating the above disadvantages relating to the maintenance and / or replacement of the elongated accessory (s).
- an envelope intended for the packaging of at least one object, of the type consisting of a sleeve made of heat-shrinkable plastic able to surround tightly with a portion main at least part of the object in case of object single, or group of objects in case of multiple objects, said sleeve further comprising a complementary flap extending externally by superimposition by being connected at its lateral ends at the main portion of the sleeve by two parallel weld lines arranged according to generatrices of the sleeve, characterized in that the two weld lines are brought together so that the complementary flap delimits with the wall in look of the main portion of the sleeve housing narrow intended to receive at least one elongated accessory, and the complementary flap also has at least one cutout defining the outline of a grip tab the lateral edges of which extend in the direction of a upper or lower free edge of said flap, for allow the flap obtained by tearing off the affected portion of said flap produced by pulling the associated tongue.
- the packaging when the packaging is fitted with its or his elongated accessories, and that he is retracted on the object, just detach the flap or two to access one or both ends of the accessory or each accessory housed in the associated narrow compartment.
- the accessory or each elongated accessory can then be easily entered, and, if the mode of use concerned ready, said accessory (s) can be replaced in their accommodation.
- the lateral edges of the or each grip tab each extend by a line of stings or the like extending substantially parallel to the weld lines and to the free edge concerned of the complementary flap.
- the shutter (s) are so easy to detach by pulling on the tab associated grip.
- the or each cut may have a curved, U-shaped, or V-shaped outline.
- the complementary flap has an attached strip of reinforcement extending parallel to the weld lines, in which is practiced at least in part the or each cutout defining a grip tab.
- the or each cut can then extend in completely across the width of the reinforcement strip, or part only, in which case at least one of the edges tongue side extends beyond the width of said reinforcing strip.
- the reinforcing strip extends over the entire height of the sleeve, and it is arranged against the internal face of the complementary flap.
- this band of reinforcement is made of plastic, from a film oriented in a specific direction, said film band being obtained in such a way that its direction longitudinal is parallel to this determined direction.
- the complementary flap has two cutouts for allow to detach an upper flap and a flap lower, said cuts delimiting between them a central portion of said flap which serves to maintain so removable the elongated accessory.
- the invention also relates to an envelope having at least one of the above characteristics, and who is equipped with his elongated accessory (s) in the associated narrow housing, said envelope being remarkable in that the complementary flap has a additional cut extending in one direction circumferential of the sleeve, said cutout being arranged at a predetermined distance from the relevant free edge of said flap between said free edge and the cut defining a gripping tab, and the elongated accessory (s) are also cut next to this cut additional so that the cut end of said or of said accessories is removed when the corresponding flap is detached.
- the additional cutting extends between the two lines of punctures or the like, preferably without going to these.
- the invention finally relates to an envelope having at least one of the above characteristics, which is equipped with his or her elongated accessories received in the associated narrow housing, and the corresponding shutter (s) are detached.
- Figure 1 illustrates an object 1 packed with a envelope according to the invention denoted 100.
- the containing 1 is a container-dispenser of the type of those commonly used for the distribution of oil or lubricating liquid, especially by spraying.
- the container 1 thus comprises a body 2 and an upper valve dispenser 3, which valve has a nozzle attachment 4 for mounting a dispensing pipette in the form of an elongated tube of small interior section.
- the dispensing pipette referenced 10 in its position mounted on the associated end piece of the valve dispensing, said pipette being shown integrated with the packaging envelope 100 as will be described more in detail below.
- the packaging envelope 100 equipped with its dispensing pipette 10 (constituting the accessory elongated above) tightly surrounds the body of the container 1 as a result of heat shrinking thereon.
- the packaging envelope is equipped with several pipettes received in the housing close associated.
- Such a container is of course given to as an example, to illustrate a particular case objects to be packaged using an envelope conforming to the invention.
- the envelope 100 is constituted by a sleeve made of heat-shrinkable plastic, and has a main portion 101 closely surrounding the body of the containing 1, as well as an additional flap 103 extending externally by superposition by being connected to the level of its two lateral ends at the portion main 101 of the sleeve, by two weld lines parallel 102, 105 arranged according to generatrices of the muff.
- the two weld lines 102, 105 are brought together so that the flap complementary 103 delimits with the wall opposite the main portion 101 of the sleeve a narrow housing 104 intended to receive at least one elongated accessory constituted here by the dispensing pipette 10.
- the complementary flap 103 is therefore considerably wider weak than that of the known envelope flaps which have function of supporting information and / or contain a notice which is accessed by detaching the minus part of the complementary flap.
- the additional flap 103 further presents minus a cutout 110 defining the outline of a tongue grip 111 whose lateral edges extend towards an upper or lower free edge of said flap, to allow the flap 115 obtained by tearing of the relevant portion of said flap made in pulling the associated tab 111.
- the complementary flap 103 has two cutouts 110 to allow a flap to be detached upper and lower flap. This allows, by detaching the two flaps 115, to access the two ends of the or of each dispensing pipette 10. It goes without saying that could only provide one cut, or more, either lower, as needed, to access only one end only of the accessory or of each accessory elongate.
- the upper or lower flap is here bordered by the two weld lines 102, 105, so that the traction exerted on the associated gripping tab 111 allows the wall of the flap to be torn naturally complementary 103 along a substantially parallel layout at the weld lines, up to the upper or lower edge of the sleeve.
- the lateral edges of the or each gripping tab 111 are each extended by a line of punctures or analogs 114 extending substantially parallel to weld lines 102, 105 and up to the free edge concerned of the additional flap 103, that is to say either the edge upper free marked 116, i.e. the lower free edge noted 117.
- the term "bite line” used here includes all types of perforations or micro-perforations used to facilitate tearing of a wall according to a predetermined profile.
- the or each cutout 110 may furthermore have a curved or U-shaped outline.
- FIG. 2 which illustrates on a larger scale the area of the upper tab makes it easier to distinguish the arrangement of a cutout 110, which is extended by two puncture lines or the like 114 extending in two sleeve generators.
- the cutout 110 thus comprises a central main portion 112 ending in two edges lateral 113 arranged in a direction substantially parallel to the weld lines of the envelope. These edges side 113 are each extended by a stitch line or analogs 114 which extends to the relevant free edge of the complementary flap 103, that is to say for FIG. 2, the upper free edge 116.
- the complementary flap 103 has here a reinforcing strip 106 extending parallel to the weld lines 102, 105, in which is performed at least partially the or each cut 110 defining a grip tab.
- This band of reinforcement 106 which extends here over the entire height of the sleeve and is arranged against the inner face of the flap complementary 103, reinforces the outer wall narrow housing 104 used to receive the accessory elongated 10.
- the concept of reinforcement here presents a double consonance: on the one hand, it is a matter of resisting efforts undergone by the walls of the envelope during the retraction, and resulting in a circumferential narrowing.
- the reinforcement strip 106 it is practically possible to freeze the width of the additional flap by blocking the circumferential retraction of this wall, of course without interfering with free circumferential retraction the inner wall of the sleeve during heat shrinkage of the envelope on the wrapped object.
- the reinforcing strip 106 extends over the entire height of the sleeve makes the manufacture of the envelope according to the invention fully compatible with modern techniques of continuous and high-speed manufacturing, to the extent where each envelope will be cut from a section continuous sheath, the reinforcing strip then being a ribbon continuous which extends along a generatrix of said sheath.
- the reinforcing strip 106 could alternatively be arranged against the outer face of the complementary flap 103, but the arrangement against the internal face has the advantage of leave a smooth outer wall for the additional flap.
- the reinforcing strip 106 will be made in plastic material, from a mono-oriented film according to a determined direction, said strip being obtained from so that its longitudinal direction is parallel to this determined direction. This ensures that the reinforcing strip 106 will show practically no shrinkage in the circumferential direction of the envelope, that is to say according to the width of the strip of reinforcement.
- the presence of the reinforcing strip 106 presents in addition the advantage of facilitating obtaining a cut 110 perfectly sharp aiming to form one or both gripping tabs, which is important in the measure or the cut (s) can be made either on the flat envelope either on this envelope already conformed, i.e. after completion of the two lines welding parallels but in any case before the heat shrinkage of said envelope on the packaged object.
- the reinforcing strip 106 may for example be made in polyethylene, polypropylene, or polyethylene terephthalate.
- the film constituting the sleeve will also be mono-oriented in a transverse direction, from so that we use in an elegant way the elongation of the molecular chain of the film resulting from the mono-orientation to facilitate the tearing which takes place in the direction of orientation of the film, so that the formation of one or more components is facilitated.
- the reinforcing strip keeps all its rigidity.
- the cutout 110 extends in whole across the width of the reinforcing strip 106.
- the two lines of punctures 114 relate to also the reinforcement strip 106.
- the reinforcement strip reinforcement 106 has exactly the same cutting pattern and of puncture lines than what is planned for the wall corresponding to the complementary flap 103.
- the flap concerned when we detach the flap concerned, the entire wall of the flap complementary is detached, in order to give the desired access at the end of the accessory or of each accessory elongate.
- provision may be made for the or each cutout extends partly across the width of the strip of reinforcement 106, in which case at least one of the lateral edges of the associated tongue 111 extends beyond the width of said reinforcing strip.
- Figure 3 illustrates such a variant, where the two side edges 113 as well as the stitch lines 114 which extend them to the upper edge 116 of the sleeve, are located beyond the width of the reinforcement strip 106. It will naturally be possible to provide an intermediate arrangement, that only one side edge of the tongue and its associated line of punctures extend across the width reinforcement 106 (variant not shown here).
- the invention also encompasses such an envelope. already equipped with their elongated accessory (s) received in the associated narrow housing, and whose shutter (s) correspondents are detached.
- FIG. 6 The end view of Figure 6 makes it possible to distinguish the envelope 100, with its two weld lines 102, 105 and its complementary flap 103 internally lined with the reinforcement strip 106.
- a pipette dispenser 10 here unique, housed in its compartment narrow 104, between the main wall 101 of the sleeve and the internal face of the reinforcing strip 106.
- FIG. 7 The plan view of Figure 7, showing the developed inner surface of the aforementioned envelope 100, makes it possible to distinguish on the one hand the main portion 101 with its two zones, denoted A, A 'associated with the line of weld 102, and its two zones, denoted C, C ', associated with the weld line 105.
- the flap complementary 103 which has a terminal area C ' associated with the aforementioned zone C to form the line of welding 105.
- the reinforcement line 106 in which a double cut is made 110 upper and lower, each of which is extended by two stitching lines 114 extending to the free edge concerned of the sleeve.
- the elongated accessory 10 in this case a pipette distribution, has a length which corresponds to the sleeve height.
- the envelope fitted with its elongated accessory (s) 10 received in the associated narrow housing 104 has a flap complementary 103 which has the same cutout 110 and the same puncture lines 114 as before, but which further has an additional cutout 118 extending in a circumferential direction of the sleeve.
- This additional cutout 118 is arranged at a distance predetermined free edge of the flap concerned, between said free edge and cutout 110 defining the tongue of grip 111. Note that this additional cutout 118 extends between two lines of punctures or the like 114, here without going to these.
- This cut additional 118 is preferably carried out when the or the dispensing pipettes are already in place in their narrow housing, so that this or these pipettes or elongated accessories 10 are also cut opposite of the additional cutout 118, so that the end cut off said accessory (s) is removed when the corresponding flap 115 is detached. After removal of flap 115, a removal of the cut end 10 'of the or each pipette 10, and a access to the remaining end, as shown in Figure 9.
- the invention applies not only to packaging of a single object, as just described, but also to the packaging of a group of objects by means of a sleeve with several compartments, in particular one sleeve produced in accordance with document FR-A-2.637.866 of the plaintiff.
- This document describes a number of sleeves with several compartments, and in particular a sleeve of the type illustrated in FIGS. 10 to 13 for organization of these two compartments.
- FIGS 10 to 13 thus illustrate an envelope 200 according to the invention, used to package a group of two containers 11, 12.
- identical or homologous parts of the envelope 100 previously described will be affected by the same references increased by a hundred, and therefore will not the subject of a new description.
- a second weld line 208 is provided, arranged at distance from the first weld line 202, so that define an intermediate membrane 209.
- Line 208 is naturally parallel to line 202, and Figures 11 and 12 allow a better understanding of the form taken by this envelope 200, respectively deposited and retracted on the two objects 11, 12, before being strung on these two objects.
- FIG. 13 The developed view of Figure 13 allows better distinguish the zones B, B 'associated with the conformation of the second weld line 208. We also find zones A, A ′ associated with the weld line 202, and the zones C, C ′ associated with the weld line 205, as for the previous sleeve wrapping a single object. For the rest, the organization of the additional flap 203, with its two cutouts 210 each defining the outline of a grip tab 211, is identical to what has been previously described for envelope 100.
- one or two detachable flaps 215 can thus be formed by tearing, by means of a traction exerted on the tongue 211 concerned, to access one or the other the ends of the accessory or of each accessory elongated 10 maintained in its associated narrow housing 204.
