Somit wird gewärhleistet, dass die Schiebetür neben dem Schiebevorgang auch einen Drehflügel ein nimmt. Um die untere Führung sicherzustellen, beispielsweise an einer Stegschienenführung, besteht die Drehschiebeachse aus zwei Nutsteinen, wobei der erste fest an einer Grundplatte befestigt ist, und wobei der zweite Nutstein schwenkbar an der Grundplatte angeordnet ist. Somit ist für den schwenkbaren Türflügel der Schiebetür eine stabile Halterung im uhteren Bereich gegeben, da insbesondere der erste Nutstein noch von der Stegschienenführung gehalten wird, wohingegen der zweite Nutstein, der schwenkbar gelagert ist, über die begrenzte Stegschienenführung hinausfährt, und somit eine Gelenkstelle für die Schwenkachse bildet. Wird die Tür derart geöffnet, so dass der Türflügel verfährt, sind beide Nutsteine linear ausgerichtet, so dass die linear ausgerichteten Nuten in der unteren Führung laufen können.
