  • tapered shape of inlet 12 coupling with the similarly tapered outlet 14 has the function not only of assuring a good coupling between the two filtering elements, but also to increase the horizontal distance "d" between the edge of inlet 12 and the edge of opening 2a so as to limit the risk that during the removal of the top filtering element 1 large residues present along the edge of opening 2a fall and reach the discharge region by entering the central cylinder 5 a.
  • the filtering elements 1 and 5 could even be without radial symmetry and openings 2a, 3a could be not concentric as long as the filter assembly forms a smooth path for the passage of residues of suitable size towards the drain pump.

Claims (11)

  1. Haubenartiger industrieller Geschirrspüler, umfassend ein erstes, oberes Filterelement (1), das mit einem Umfangsrand (10) versehen ist, welches in eine Öffnung (2a) eines flachen Filters (2) von konkaver Gestalt eingesetzt ist, der geeignet ist, als Deckel für einen Sammelsumpf (3) am Boden (4) des Tanks zu dienen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er ferner ein zweites, unteres Filterelement (5) umfasst, das mit einem Umfangsrand (13) versehen ist, welches in eine Öffnung (3a) eingesetzt ist, welche am Boden des besagten Sammelsumpfs (3) gebildet ist, wobei das besagte, zweite, untere Filterelement (5) teilweise aufgenommen ist innerhalb eines Verteilers (6) zum Anschluss an die Wasch- und Entwässerungspumpen, welcher unter der besagten Öffnung (3a) des Sumpfs (3) befestigt ist, wobei das besagte, untere Filterelement (5) an seiner Oberseite mit einem sich nach innen verjüngenden Einlass (12) versehen ist und in Kombination mit dem besagten, oberen Filterelement (1), das an seiner Unterseite mit einem sich nach innen verjüngenden Auslass (14) versehen ist, angrenzend an den besagten, sich nach innen verjüngenden Einlass (12), um eine substantiell durchgehende Leitung zwischen den beiden Filterelementen (1, 5) zu erreichen, eine Filteranordnung bildet, die sich substantiell durchgehend zwischen dem besagten flachen Filter (2) und einem Rohr (DP) erstreckt, welches zu der Entwässerungspumpe führt.
  2. Geschirrspüler gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das besagte erste Filterelement (1) aus zwei koaxialen Körpern (1a,1b) hergestellt ist, welche an ihren Basen miteinander verbunden sind über Anschlussrippen, welche eine ringförmige Passage (9) lassen, deren Weite (w) von 4 bis 6 mm reicht, vorzugsweise 5 mm beträgt.
  3. Geschirrspüler gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das erste Filterelement (1) einen inneren zylindrischen Körper (1a) umfasst, der geschlossen ist, aber Öffnungen an seiner Oberseite aufweist, sowie einen äußeren, kegelstumpfförmigen Körper (1b) mit vertikalen Durchgangsschlitzen, welche eine Weite zwischen 1 und 1,5 mm haben, vorzugsweise von 1,2 mm.
  4. Geschirrspüler gemäß Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die die ringförmige Passage (9) begrenzenden Anschlussrippen in einem Abstand innerhalb eines Bereichs von 10 bis 16 mm ausgebildet sind, vorzugsweise zwischen 12 und 14 mm.
  5. Geschirrspüler gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das zweite Filterelement (5) aus drei koaxialen Körpern (5a, 5b, 5c) von unterschiedlichem Durchmesser hergestellt ist, welche durch einen kreisförmigen, mit Öffnungen versehenen Ring (5d) untereinander verbunden sind.
  6. Geschirrspüler gemäß dem vorhergehenden Anspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der innere Körper (5a) ein fester Zylinder ist, welcher sich oberhalb des Rings (5d) erhebt, wobei der äußere Körper (5b) leicht kegelstumpfförmig ist und sich oberhalb des Rings (5d) erhebt, jedoch erheblich weniger weit als der besagte innere Körper (5a), und den Umfangsrand (13) als einen oberen Umfangsrand (13) aufweist, welcher sich für das Einsetzen in die Öffnung (3a) des Sumpfs (3) eignet, und wobei der Zwischenkörper (5c) ein fester Zylinder ist, welcher sich unterhalb des Rings (5d) erstreckt, wobei sowohl der letztere als auch der besagte Rand (13) mit Durchgangsschlitzen versehen sind, welche eine Größe gleich den Durchgangslöchern des flachen Filters (2) haben oder größer, bezeichnenderweise 2,5 mm weit, jedoch so, dass Rückstände mit einer derartigen Größe, dass sie die Waschdüsen verstopfen oder die Waschpumpe blockieren könnten, zurückgehalten werden.
  7. Geschirrspüler gemäß dem vorhergehenden Anspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der innere Zylinder (5a) des zweiten Filterelements (5) den nach innen verjüngten Einlass (12) am oberen Ende aufweist, und dass das untere Ende des ersten Filterelements (1) den entsprechend nach innen verjüngten Auslass (14) aufweist, so dass zwischen den beiden Filterelementen (1,5) der substantiell durchgehende Kanal gebildet wird.
  8. Geschirrspüler gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er ferner einen Sensor umfasst, der in der Lage ist, die korrekte Positionierung des zweiten Filterelements (5) zu erfassen.
  9. Geschirrspüler gemäß dem vorhergehenden Anspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Sensor aus einem Reedschalter (7) besteht, der in dem Verteiler (6) angeordnet ist, um das Vorhandensein eines in dem zweiten Filterelement (5) platzierten Magneten (8) zu erkennen.
  10. Geschirrspüler gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der flache Filter (2) aus einem perforierten, rostfreien Stahlblech besteht mit Löchern, welche einen Durchmesser zwischen 1,5 und 2,2 mm haben.
  11. Geschirrspüler gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Öffnung (2a) in dem flachen Filter (2) konzentrisch zu der Öffnung (3a) in dem Sumpf (3) ist, und dass die zwei Filterelemente (1,5) radialsymmetrisch sind.
