- the second filtering element 5 is made up of three coaxial bodies 5a, 5b and 5c of different diameter joined through a circular ring 5d provided with openings. More specifically, the inner body 5a is a solid cylinder extending above ring 5d and has an inlet 12 at the top with an inward tapering; the outer body 5b, slightly frustoconical, also extends solid above ring 5d but is much shorter than cylinder 5a and has a top peripheral rim 13 for fitting into opening 3a of sump 3; and finally the intermediate body 5c is a solid cylinder extending below ring 5d.
- Both the latter and rim 13 are provided with passage slots having a size equal to or greater than the passage holes of the flat filter 2, indicatively 2,5 mm wide, yet such as to retain the residues having a size that could clog the wash nozzles or block the wash pump.
- the largest residues retained within the top filtering element 1, having a size such that they can not be discharged through the drain pump, even when the machine is in the operating condition (i.e. with sump 3 full of water) can be removed by the operator by removing only element 1 for cleaning, as shown in Fig.5 .
- This operation there is the risk that large residues possibly present along the edge of opening 2a fall into sump 3 but even if they did fall therein they would be retained, as previously explained, by ring 5d and rim 13 of the bottom filtering element 5 which, at the end of the use of the machine when sump 3 is empty, can be in turn removed from opening 3a and thoroughly washed.
- tapered shape of inlet 12 coupling with the similarly tapered outlet 14 has the function not only of assuring a good coupling between the two filtering elements, but also to increase the horizontal distance "d" between the edge of inlet 12 and the edge of opening 2a so as to limit the risk that during the removal of the top filtering element 1 large residues present along the edge of opening 2a fall and reach the discharge region by entering the central cylinder 5 a.
- the filtering elements 1 and 5 could even be without radial symmetry and openings 2a, 3a could be not concentric as long as the filter assembly forms a smooth path for the passage of residues of suitable size towards the drain pump.

Claims (11)
- Lave-vaisselle industriel de type à capot comprenant un premier élément filtrant supérieur (1) monté dans une ouverture (2a) d'un filtre plat de forme concave (2) approprié pour servir de couvercle pour le puits de collecte (3) formé dans le fond du réservoir (4), caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre un second élément filtrant inférieur (5) qui est monté dans une ouverture (3a) formée au fond dudit puits de collecte (3) et partiellement reçu à l'intérieur d'un collecteur (6) pour le raccordement aux pompes de lavage et de vidange qui sont fixées sous ladite ouverture (3a) du puits (3), ledit second élément filtrant inférieur (5) formant, en combinaison avec ledit premier élément filtrant supérieur (1), un ensemble de filtre s'étendant de manière sensiblement continue entre ledit filtre plat (2) et un tuyau (DP) menant à la pompe de vidange.
- Lave-vaisselle selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ledit premier élément filtrant (1) est composé de deux corps coaxiaux (1a, 1b) assemblés au niveau de leurs bases par le biais de nervures de raccordement qui sortent d'un passage circulaire (9) dont la largeur (w) est de l'ordre de 4 à 6 mm, de préférence 5 mm.
- Lave-vaisselle selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le premier élément filtrant (1) comprend un corps cylindrique interne (1a) fermé, mais pour les ouvertures sur le côté supérieur et un corps tronconique externe (1b) avec des fentes de passage verticales ayant une largeur comprise entre 1 et 1,5 mm, de préférence 1,2 mm.
- Lave-vaisselle selon la revendication 2 ou 3, caractérisé en ce que les nervures de raccordement définissant le passage circulaire (9) sont formées avec un pas de l'ordre de 10 à 16 mm, de préférence compris entre 12 et 14 mm.
- Lave-vaisselle selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le second élément filtrant (5) est composé de trois corps coaxiaux (5a, 5b, 5c) de diamètre différent assemblés par une bague circulaire (5d) prévue avec des ouvertures.
- Lave-vaisselle selon la revendication précédente, caractérisé en ce qu'un corps interne (5a) est un cylindre plein s'étendant au-dessus de la bague (5d), le corps externe (5b) est légèrement tronconique, s'étend au-dessus de la bague (5d) mais est nettement inférieur audit corps interne (5a) et a un rebord périphérique supérieur (13) approprié pour se monter dans l'ouverture (3a) du puits (3), et le corps intermédiaire (5c) est un cylindre plein s'étendant au-dessous de la bague (5d), ce dernier ainsi que ledit rebord (13) étant prévus avec des fentes de passage ayant une taille égale ou supérieure aux trous de passage du filtre plat (2), de manière indicative de 2,5 mm de large, mais tels qu'elles retiennent les résidus ayant une taille qui pourrait boucher les buses d'eau ou bloquer la pompe de lavage.
- Lave-vaisselle selon la revendication précédente, caractérisé en ce que le cylindre interne (5a) du second élément filtrant (5) a une entrée progressivement rétrécie vers l'intérieur (12) au niveau de l'extrémité supérieure et l'extrémité inférieure du premier élément filtrant (1) a une sortie progressivement rétrécie vers l'intérieur (14) correspondante afin de former un conduit sensiblement continu entre les deux éléments filtrants (1, 5).
- Lave-vaisselle selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre un capteur approprié pour détecter le positionnement correct du second élément filtrant (5).
- Lave-vaisselle selon la revendication précédente, caractérisé en ce que le capteur se compose d'un commutateur à lame (7) agencé dans le collecteur (6) afin de détecter la présence d'un aimant (8) positionné dans le second élément filtrant (5).
- Lave-vaisselle selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le filtre plat (2) se compose d'une feuille d'acier inoxydable perforée avec des trous ayant un diamètre compris entre 1,5 et 2,2 mm.
- Lave-vaisselle selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que l'ouverture (2a) dans le filtre plat (2) est concentrique avec l'ouverture (3a) dans le puits (3) et les deux éléments filtrants (1, 5) ont une symétrie radiale.
