Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the technical field of sub-roofing and relates in particular to a tile support plate element intended to be connected sealingly to a sub-roof of the same type in order to carry out a repair or to facilitate the setting implementation of a roof exit.
  • the sub-roofs are building elements serving as their name suggests to the construction of a roof.
  • the sub-roof is usually placed between the roof and the roof structure.
  • the sub-roof can be rigid or flexible. When rigid, the sub-roof can be used directly as a roof element. However, in the majority of cases, the under-roof supports a roof covering such as tiles, slates ...
  • the role of the under-roof is to collect and evacuate the water present under the roof cover due to weather or other infiltration or due to condensation to protect the insulation.
  • the sub-roof may be formed of flat rigid plates or consist of a plurality of depressions and ridges so as to describe a regular and repetitive sinusoid pattern.
  • the plates are arranged on the roof overlapping to ensure tightness.
  • the lateral overlap corresponds to a half-sinusoid and the transverse overlap takes place about twenty centimeters.
  • the corrugated tile support plates are used in particular to support hollow tiles called "channel" tiles widely used in the south of France. These tiles are arranged on the plates so as to form a succession of alternating rows of current tiles placed on the hollows of the plate and covering tiles placed on the peaks of the plate. Tiles form a pattern regular and repetitive with a length equal to that of the support plate.
  • tile support plates allow an alternative in tile layout by saving the number of tiles per m2. Indeed, it is possible to remove the current tiles placed in the hollows of the plate, the sealing of the roof being ensured then only by the tile support plates and not by the tiles themselves.
  • the realization of a connection, a repair or an opening on a roof comprising such tiles is to make a connection in the under-roof which is not always the case when the seal is made by the tiles.
  • the sub-roof consists of large tile support plates, these constructions are always difficult to implement and often monopolize a large part of the roof with respect to the often small dimensions of roof exit constructions such as the realization of a roof. a ventilation outlet.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a tile support plate element which overcomes the aforementioned drawbacks while allowing to make a tight connection to perform a repair of the under-roof or to achieve a roof exit. This object is achieved by the assembly of claim 1.
  • the main and secondary bodies have a difference in level greater than the thickness of the tile support plate and thus forming a bearing on the edge upper main body, so that the upper transverse edge of the opening abuts on the bearing when the tile support plate element has been placed on the opening.
  • the element 10 is a corrugated rigid plate whose upper edges 11 and lower 12 are perpendicular to the corrugations.
  • the element 10 consists of a projecting main body 20 and a smaller secondary reentrant body 30.
  • the sinusoid-shaped corrugations consist of a succession of ridges 21, 23, 25 and alternating channels 22, 24.
  • the ridges 21, 23, 25 projecting and the recessed channels 22, 24 form a regular and repetitive pattern.
  • Each side edge of the element 10 is composed of three parts.
  • the left lateral edge of the element 10 comprises a rectilinear lower portion 13 located near the lowest point of a channel while the rectilinear upper portion is shorter and is located at the top of a ridge.
  • the two lower 13 and upper 15 parts are preferably parallel and are interconnected by a third transverse portion 14.
  • the portion 14 is straight and perpendicular to the portions 13 and 15 and crosswise the ripples.
  • the right edge of the element 10 being symmetrical with the left edge, the preceding description applying to the left edge also applies to the right edge composed of the parts 16, 17 and 18.
  • the undulations of the secondary secondary body 30 of the element 10 are in the extension of the corrugations of the main body 20 so that the pattern obtained has the same length.
  • the difference in height of the two bodies 20 and 30 forms a uniform bearing in the waves.
  • the peak 31 of the secondary body 30 is in the extension of the peak 21 of the main body 20, the channel 32 of the secondary body in the extension of the channel 22 and so on.
  • the height of the peaks 31, 33, 35 and the height of the channels 32, 34 of the secondary body are not the same as those respectively of the peaks 21, 23, 25 and channels 22, 24 of the main body, the difference of height between the two bodies being defined later in the description.
  • the element of the invention is intended to be incorporated in a sub-roof of the same type, that is to say the same pattern and the same length of corrugations.
  • a sub-roof of the same type that is to say the same pattern and the same length of corrugations.
  • an opening 100 is made in one of the plates 51 of the under-roof. This opening is intended to receive the element 10 according to the invention. Part of the plate provided with the opening 100 is shown in detail on the figure 3 .
  • the opening 100 made in the sub-roofing plate is such that its side edges 103 and 104 are at the top of a ridge.
  • the opening 100 also has an upper transverse edge 111 and a lower transverse edge 112, both of which are perpendicular to the side edges.
  • the number of peaks of the transverse edges of the opening, counting the peaks located on the lateral edges 113 and 114, is the same as the number of peaks of the element according to the invention 10.
  • the width of the opening 100 is less than a sinusoid length at the widest width of the element 10 located between the lateral edges 13 and 14.
  • the width of the opening 100 corresponds to the smallest width of the opening.
  • the distance separating the transverse edges 111 and 112 is less than ten centimeters at the height of the main body of the element according to the invention.
  • the opening 100 is extended in the upper part of the side edges 113 and 114 by two slots 143 and 144.
  • the element 10 is intended to be inserted into the opening so as to make a tight connection.
  • the secondary body 30 of the element 10 is first slid inclined under the upper lateral edge 111 of the opening 100. All the secondary body 30 is provided to pass under the plate 51 of the sub-roof of so that the upper edge 111 of the opening 100 comes against the main body 20.
  • the main body 20 of the element 10 and the plate 51 are at the same level. This is possible due to the difference in height between the bodies 20 and 30 of the element 10. This difference in height is greater than the thickness of the roof plate in which the element is intended to come s' insert and is preferably equal to twice this thickness. As long as the element 10 has not penetrated into the slots 143 and 144, it can be inserted by being inclined in the opening 100.
  • the slots hold the element 10 in a plated position and parallel to the tile support plate 51 so that the end is put in place by sliding parallel to the plate 51 of the sub-roof until that the edges 14 and 17 of the element 10 support on the bottom 153 and 154 of the slots 143 and 144.
  • the slots maintain the element 10 pressed against the underlayer, which prevents it to rise in case of wind.
  • the figure 6 represents the element 10 in place in the opening 100 of the support plate 51. It can be seen that only the main body 20 of the element 10 is visible while the secondary body 30 is hidden under the tile support 51 so that the upper edge 111 of the opening 100 comes to bear substantially against the bearing formed by the difference in height between the main and secondary parts 20 of the element 10.
  • the transverse portions 14 and 18 of the lateral edges of the element 10 appear as the only two visible upper edges.
  • the element 10 completely covers the two lateral edges 113, 114 and the lower transverse edge 112 of the opening 100 shown in dashed lines in the figure while the transverse upper edge of the opening 100 covers the element 10.
  • the element 10 overlaps by passing over the side edges 113 and 114 of a corresponding length on each side to a half-length of sinusoid and also overlaps by passing over the lower transverse edge for about ten centimeters.
  • the upper part of the element 10 being the most exposed to the infiltration of water, it is possible to add two pads 71 and 72 of waterproof and adherent material such as putty on the upper edges 14 and 18 to eliminate any risk infiltration of water at this point and make the assembly formed of the element and the sealed opening.
  • the upper edges 14 and 18 may be oblique so as to form with the lower parts 13 and 15 of the lateral edges of the element 10 an angle greater than 90 [deg.]. In this way, the water will flow more easily on both sides of the element 10 without stagnating on the edges 14 and 18.
  • the element according to the invention is manufactured by resin molding and then cut to the required dimensions. It can also be made of polycarbonate, fiber cement or fiberglass.
  • the figure 7 represents a variant of the element according to the invention.
  • Element 10 can be used to make a roof exit.
  • the main part of the element comprises an outlet pipe 80 adapted to the intended use which may be a ventilation outlet, a chimney outlet or any other outlet requiring an opening.
  • a hat not shown in the figure is in this case then added to the outlet duct 80.
  • the element 10 is translucent plexiglass so that it lets the light through. Its implementation thus makes it possible to create an economical source of light.
