Definitions
- the invention relates to a security feature for data carriers, such as value documents and the like, which is applied to a data carrier or at least partially embedded in a data carrier or at least partially closes an opening of the data carrier by application to or at least partial embedding in the data carrier, as well as a method for its production.
- Security elements with so-called see-through registers, ie recognizable recesses in transmitted light are known.
- Security elements with visually visible features are for example off EP - A 0 330 733 known.
- security elements in particular security threads consisting of a translucent plastic film, an over the entire security element extending opaque coating having recesses in the form of the coding to be introduced, in particular in the form of characters and patterns described.
- coloring and / or luminescent substances may be present at least in the regions defined by the recesses, by means of which the coding differs from the opaque coating under the corresponding influence of light in contrasting color.
- the object of the invention was a security feature that has different partial optical features on front and back, which are interrupted by recesses, these recesses result in transmitted light a clear sharply defined image. Another object of the invention was to provide a method for producing such a security feature.
- the subject of the invention is therefore a security feature comprising a carrier substrate with at least two partial layers, characterized in that the two layers have different colors or Have color impressions and in each case at least partially transparent recesses, wherein the layers are applied absolutely congruent to each other without tolerances.
- Carrier foils are for example carrier foils, preferably flexible plastic foils, for example of PI, PP, OPP, PE, PPS, PEEK, PEK, PEI, PSU, PAEK, LCP, PEN, PBT, PET, PA, PC, COC, POM, ABS, PVC fluoropolymers such as Teflon and the like in question.
- the carrier films preferably have a thickness of 4 to 700 ⁇ m, preferably 4 to 200 ⁇ m, particularly preferably 4 to 125 ⁇ m.
- the carrier substrate may already have a layer with a structured lacquer layer.
- the lacquer layer can be a radiation-curable lacquer layer or a thermoplastic lacquer layer mixed with stabilizers into which a structure, for example a surface relief, a diffraction structure, a diffraction grating or a hologram, is embossed by means of known methods.

Abstract
Description
- In
- In
