Claims (10)

  1. A light fixture, comprising a casing frame (1) formed from four profile strips (10) connected to one another, a transparent disc (20) inserted into one side of the casing, a base plate (30) inserted into the opposite side, and a lighting means, in particular a fluorescent lamp (41) or an arrangement of LEDs, arranged in the interior of the casing, characterized in that the profile strips (10) on the outside of the casing have edge strips (12) used for fastening purposes and on the inside they have support strips (13) for supporting and fastening the disc (20) and the base plate (30) respectively, which are designed in an identical manner and are arranged mirror-symmetrically to one another, wherein in addition the disc (20) is connected to the profile strips (10) of the casing frame (1) by means of pressing strips (21) screwed to the support strips (13) and the fastening screws (23) for the pressing strips (21) are screwed into threaded bores extending at a right angle to the surface of the strips.

  8. A light fixture according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the pressing strips (21) are mitre-cut at their butt joints.
  9. A light fixture according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the profile strips (10) are extruded profiles consisting of light metal, preferably aluminium, the disc (20) consists of glass or transparent plastics material and the base plate (30) consists of metal, preferably sheet steel.
  10. A light fixture according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that reflector panels (33, 34) are arranged on the base plate (30) adjacent to or below the fluorescent lamp (41).
