  • the relevant mounting rail is first mounted on the wall. Subsequently, the planar element fixed so that the pine cone profile is inserted into the groove of the sheet-like element. Subsequently, the pine cone profile of another mounting rail is inserted into the groove on the opposite edge and then attached the mounting rail to the wall. This process is repeated until the multifunction wall is made to the desired dimensions.
  • a wall element and a rail for a wall element are known.
  • the US 6,289,646 B1 describes a system of rails and wall elements.
  • a fastening profile for connecting juxtaposed components is described.
  • Another embodiment of a rail is from the WO 2008/059628 A1 known.
  • the WO 03/004795 A1 discloses a wall covering consisting of rails and wall elements.
  • the DE 201 11 800 U1 describes a holding means for a shelf.
  • a disadvantage proves that a single sheet-like element can not be removed later, without the subsequently mounted during assembly flat elements and mounting rails are also mitemounted.
  • the object of the invention is to avoid the aforementioned disadvantages and to provide a multi-functional wall, in which individual flat elements can be dismantled without the dismantling of adjacent flat elements again.
  • each mounting rail has at least one substantially parallel to the wall aligned, preferably two parallel aligned groove flanks having groove for receiving the entire relevant edge of the fastened sheet-like element and between two adjacent mounting rails a plurality of juxtaposed planar elements are arranged, wherein each planar element has two opposite short edges and two opposite long edges and each sheet-like element is inserted with its short edge in the corresponding groove of the mounting rail.
  • At least one planar element may be formed as a commercially available panel.

Then the flat elements can be fixed in the manner of a tongue and groove joint against each other.

The customer only has to do the assembly at home, whereby both the mounting rails and the flat elements may have been brought to the correct length at the factory.
  • the static properties for the weight of additional components such as screens, shelves or the like, taken over exclusively by the mounting rail mounted on the wall, while the sheet-like elements are provided for decorative design.
  • the look of the multifunction wall can be designed as desired. Due to the variety of surface elements to be combined, the multifunction wall can be used in a variety of ways. It can not only be used in the home, for example. For example, a use in meeting rooms is possible. In this case, it makes sense if, for example, a planar element is designed as a panel element or as a kind of flipchart.
  • At least one mounting rail which is designed to fix two adjacent flat element, two grooves, the groove bases are aligned facing each other, have.
  • a screen is to be mounted on the multi-functional wall, only the relevant flat elements in the area have to be removed by shifting laterally. It can then be laid wiring in the multi-functional wall and then the disassembled sheet-like elements can be inserted again.
  • other components such as holders for shelves or the like, can be attached to the mounting rails.
  • the groove may consist of two spaced-apart thin-walled legs. This gives the multi-functional wall a nearly flat surface, since only the mounting rails with their room-side thin-walled legs slightly protruding from the general extent of the multifunction wall.

With one side of the square wood with the back of the sheet-like element and with the opposite side with the wall or the spacer element, such as the substructure, in contact. To this Way, the sheet-like element does not bulge even at high loads in the direction of the wall, since the pressure generated by the weight is absorbed by the support receiving element.
  • the holder or the stabilization device can only be selectively in contact with the planar element. But it is also quite possible that the holder or the stabilizing device are formed as a profile, which is over its entire length, but at least partially, in contact with the sheet-like element.

  • the Support receiving element 35 is in the illustrated embodiment with the mounted on the wall 1 and serving as a substructure spacer 2 and on the other with the sheet-like element 4 in contact.
  • a support receiving element 35 for example, a square wood of the appropriate thickness can be used. With one side of the square wood with the back of the sheet-like element 4 and with the opposite side with the spacer 2 in contact.
