Definitions
- the invention relates to a respiratory half mask comprising a mask body equipped with front or side filters, a headband support with two sidebands extending therefrom and a band guide element fixed to the mask body for displacing the mask body along the sidebands from a use position into one includes the face releasing position.
- Respiratory half-masks are used to cover the user's mouth and nose with a mask body formed with side filters or a front filter to protect the mask wearer from airborne pollutants and at least one exhalation valve.
- the half mask is held by means of a bandage connected thereto, consisting of side bands connected to a head support, on the head of the user.
- the harness and its connection to the mask body should be designed so that the respirator half-mask can be easily and quickly applied and removed or adjusted and beyond reliably sealing and with high comfort, even under the aspect of heavy filter elements and a high physical stress of the user, is held on the face of the mask wearer.
- a respirator half-mask with a tape guide member attached to the mask body in which the two sidebands attached to a head support are each guided in an upper guide and a lower guide and are passed crossing from the upper guide to the obliquely opposite lower guide.
- the four guides form an advantageous four-point mount of the mask body on the user's face.
- the mask body can be displaced from the position covering a mouth and nose of the user to a position lying below the face or also in the opposite direction along the sidebands guided in the upper and lower guides. This means that the half mask can be put on or taken off relatively quickly and in a simple manner, without having to remove a protective helmet worn over the head support.
- the secure fit of the mask body and the reliable seal on the face are limited insofar as the mask body slip due to the weight caused by the filter and high physical stress of the user, especially in conjunction with between the mask body and face moisture forming on the face can and thus a reliable seal is not guaranteed.
- the sidebands adjustably mounted on the head support must be tensioned. The loosely suspended from the head support, intended for tightening the respirator half mask to the user's face ends of the sidebands are perceived by the user as disturbing.
- One in the EP 0 808 641 B1 described respirator half mask has on the two outer sides in each case a tape guide element for each one connected to a head support sideband, the free ends of which have a closure element to connect the two ends behind the head can.
- the two tape guide elements have an elongated, arcuate slot in which the respective sideband can slide and in which it assumes the curved structure of the slot to frictionally engage the tape guide element but still being slidably movable.
- the half mask can be adjusted by overcoming the frictional forces from a position adjacent to the face in a nose and mouth releasing position below the face. The frictional forces are intended to prevent an automatic slippage of the half mask from the face.
- a respirator half-mask which also permits rapid adjustment from a mouth and nose sealingly covering position to a face-releasing, drooping position.
- To the Mask body is a tape guide member releasably attached to the two lower connection points each a length-adjustable neck band is attached, the free ends are connected to each other behind the neck of the user.
- Two side straps connected to a head support and running in lateral guides are attached to the lower edge of a locking flap pivotally connected to the strap guide member at the opposite edge. In the lowered, locked on the mask body position of the mask body is located on the face of the user. The sidebands can still be tightened on the headrest.
- the two neck bands are connected behind the neck and can also be re-tensioned. Swinging up the locking flap lengthens the length of the sidebands so that the respirator half mask can be removed from the face or - with the neck bands underneath the face suspended from the head support.
- This respirator half mask is disadvantageous, as well as the side bands neck bands must be provided and each must be tightened when creating the mask.
- the locking flap can easily solve, so that the respiratory protection is not guaranteed safe.
- the invention has the object of providing a respiratory half mask of the type mentioned in such a way that a simple, quick donning and removal of the mask, a high level of comfort and a safe respiratory protection are guaranteed.
- the basic idea of the invention consists in a respiratory half mask with a tape guide part provided on the mask body for adjusting the mask body along the sidebands, in that a movable or adjustable clamping element is attached to the tape guide part in order to move the sidebands by actuating the clamping element in the mouth and nose to clamp the covering position of the mask body to the tape guide member and thereby fix the mask body in the use position.
- a movable or adjustable clamping element is attached to the tape guide part in order to move the sidebands by actuating the clamping element in the mouth and nose to clamp the covering position of the mask body to the tape guide member and thereby fix the mask body in the use position.
- the downwardly protruding from the tape guide part ends of the sidebands behind the neck of the user are connected together, so that the half mask at four connection points, namely two upper tape entry points and two lower tape exit points of the two - a single belt loop forming - sidebands on the tape guide part, reliably sealing held on the user's face.
- band friction webs are formed in the band guide part, with the aid of which the band guide part can be fixed to the side bands in a position corresponding to the position of use of the mask body.
- the tape guide part comprises two of its outer sides to the center extending upper tape guide channels and two of these preferably at an acute angle obliquely downwardly extending lower tape guide channels.
- the tape guide between the successive, each outside and inside of the tape guide part formed band guide channels via a Bandumlenkkante on which attack the clamping element and can fix the tape guide part with the mask body on the side bands.
- the running on the outer surface of the tape guide part upper band guide channels have at the outer, the Bandumlenkkante opposite end each having a guide slot which defines the upper attachment point of the respective sideband, while the lower attachment points are formed by the tape outlet opening from the inside - lower - band guide channels.
- the inner, lower band guide channels are each bounded by a cover plate formed by the tape guide member and an integrally formed on the tape guide member mounting cylinder.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a respiratory half mask comprising a mask body equipped with front or side filters, a headband support with two sidebands extending therefrom and a band guide element fixed to the mask body for displacing the mask body along the sidebands from a use position into one includes the face releasing position.
Respiratory half-masks are used to cover the user's mouth and nose with a mask body formed with side filters or a front filter to protect the mask wearer from airborne pollutants and at least one exhalation valve. Usually, the half mask is held by means of a bandage connected thereto, consisting of side bands connected to a head support, on the head of the user. The harness and its connection to the mask body should be designed so that the respirator half-mask can be easily and quickly applied and removed or adjusted and beyond reliably sealing and with high comfort, even under the aspect of heavy filter elements and a high physical stress of the user, is held on the face of the mask wearer. An important requirement with regard to the ease of use of the respiratory half-mask is to remove the half-mask from the mouth and nose only temporarily, for example in order to be able to reach the mouth only temporarily or because the environment is currently free from harmful substances. Particularly complex is the application or removal of the half mask, if the harness with a head of the user supported headrest that is worn under a helmet that needs to be removed and replaced each time you put on or remove the respirator half mask.

The invention has the object of providing a respiratory half mask of the type mentioned in such a way that a simple, quick donning and removal of the mask, a high level of comfort and a safe respiratory protection are guaranteed.
According to the invention the object is achieved with a trained according to the features of
The basic idea of the invention consists in a respiratory half mask with a tape guide part provided on the mask body for adjusting the mask body along the sidebands, in that a movable or adjustable clamping element is attached to the tape guide part in order to move the sidebands by actuating the clamping element in the mouth and nose to clamp the covering position of the mask body to the tape guide member and thereby fix the mask body in the use position. Despite the high weight and high physical loading of the mask wearer due to the filter body or bodies, the half mask can not inadvertently slip into a position or be inadvertently adjusted in which the respiratory protection of the user is no longer guaranteed. Only after the release of the clamping element and the release of the connecting elements on the protruding downwards from the tape guide part ends of the sidebands of the band guide member connected mask body, if temporarily no respiratory protection is required to be moved along the sidebands in a remote from the face ready position. If necessary, the mask body with the tape guide member can be quickly moved back into the use position and fixed with the clamping element again on the sidebands, so that the mask body firmly against the face. Subsequently, the downwardly protruding from the tape guide part ends of the sidebands behind the neck of the user are connected together, so that the half mask at four connection points, namely two upper tape entry points and two lower tape exit points of the two - a single belt loop forming - sidebands on the tape guide part, reliably sealing held on the user's face.
According to a further feature of the invention, band friction webs are formed in the band guide part, with the aid of which the band guide part can be fixed to the side bands in a position corresponding to the position of use of the mask body. With such, achieved by applying the sidebands to the Bandreibungsstege default, which may be required in certain cases to protect the user, it is deliberately prevented that the respiratory half mask is moved despite dissolved clamping element in a remote from the face.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the tape guide part comprises two of its outer sides to the center extending upper tape guide channels and two of these preferably at an acute angle obliquely downwardly extending lower tape guide channels. The tape guide between the successive, each outside and inside of the tape guide part formed band guide channels via a Bandumlenkkante on which attack the clamping element and can fix the tape guide part with the mask body on the side bands.
The running on the outer surface of the tape guide part upper band guide channels have at the outer, the Bandumlenkkante opposite end each having a guide slot which defines the upper attachment point of the respective sideband, while the lower attachment points are formed by the tape outlet opening from the inside - lower - band guide channels. The inner, lower band guide channels are each bounded by a cover plate formed by the tape guide member and an integrally formed on the tape guide member mounting cylinder.
Preferably, the two Bandumlenkkanten are arranged opposite each other at a distance and form a clamping opening, in which a single clamping element can be moved to clamp both sidebands simultaneously at the respective Bandumlenkkante.
In an embodiment of the invention, the clamping element is a pivotally mounted on the tape guide part clamping lever, which is adapted in length and width to the size of the clamping opening. In the opposite longitudinal sides of the clamping lever clamping grooves are formed, which engage in the clamping position on the guided around the rounded Bandumlenkkante sideband and cause a locking of the clamping lever and a secure jamming of the sidebands.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the clamping lever is designed as a pivotable about a rotation axis plate, in the side edge surfaces of the clamping grooves are formed and on the upper side of a handle for actuating the clamping lever is formed.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the above-mentioned, integrally connected to the tape guide part, serving as a tape guide element mounting cylinder is provided with locking elements and attachable to a mounted on the mask body connecting cylinder and can be locked with this. When the terminal cylinder surrounds an exhalation valve integrated into the mask body, the outwardly facing open side of the mounting cylinder is covered with a protective grid. The connection cylinder can also be designed for attachment of a front filter. In this case, of course, the protective grid is missing.
In a further embodiment of the invention, two recessed gripping recesses are formed in the outer surface of the tape guide part, which allow easy handling of the respiratory half mask when creating or removing the face.

- The
tape guide part 2 is inserted with itsfastening cylinder 10 provided on themask body 1 connectingcylinder 5 and locked releasably on this. The upper ends of thesidebands 4 are firmly connected to theheadrest 3. The user annoying - drooping - tape ends for adjusting the tape tension are not present. Thesidebands 4 are guided over the 18 and 19, the upper outerguide slot 16 and 17, theband guide channel 23 and 24 and the lower innerBandumlenkkante 14 and 15 in theband guide channel band guide part 2. After moving the respirator half-mask along thesidebands 4 in a covering the mouth and the nose position the respiratory half mask is fixed to theside bands 4 by thesidebands 4 are firmly clamped to the 23, 24 by means of the clampingBandumlenkkanten member 26. Already at this time, themask body 1 is relatively close to the user's face. Subsequently, the connecting 8, 9 connected behind the neck of the user with each other and pulled the strap ends taut. The respirator half mask is now held at four attachment points on the face. Due to the clamping of themeans sidebands 4 on the created between the upper and lower band 23, 24, the mask can not move automatically even with a high filter weight, heavy physical stress, acting on the respirator half-mask bumps or sweating on the face, so that the Respiratory protection function of the mask is guaranteed at all times. The clampingguide channel Bandumlenkkanten element 26 can be latched via its clampinggrooves 27 on the 23, 24, so that theBandumlenkkanten sidebands 4 are securely clamped and the clampingelement 26 can not accidentally solve. On the other hand, the respiratory half-mask 26 can be easily and quickly held in a below-the-face after release of the clampingmember 26 or - after releasing the connectingmeans 8, 9 - suspended position to be moved.
In certain cases, it may be necessary to prevent the mask wearer from shifting the respiratory half mask from the face in the meantime.
