- the invention relates to a carrier plate for a punching tool with two outer layers, between which a central layer is arranged.
- a carrier plate for a punching tool with at least two layers is from the DE 203 20 658 U1 known.
- the middle layer of this carrier plate is preferably made of a foamed plastic, in particular epoxy resin.
- the outer layer consists of a composite material of synthetic resin and glass fabric or metal.
- a disadvantage of in the DE 203 20 658 U1 The disclosed carrier plate is the use of non-recyclable epoxy resins in the middle layer of the carrier plate. Furthermore, the materials used are relatively expensive to produce.
- composite plates are known as carrier plates in die making. These consist, for example, of a composite of sheet metal / wood / sheet metal, sheet metal / plastic / sheet metal or sheet metal / sisal, resin / sheet metal.
- a carrier plate made of a composite of metal / plastic / metal is made of DE 24 044 06 C3 known.
- an epoxy resin is preferably used in the middle layer, the outer layer is preferably made of a dimensionally stable metal, for example copper, brass, aluminum or magnesium.
- Another disadvantage is the relatively high weight that results from the use of metals for the upper and lower outer layer. This will u.a. the handle of the support plate difficult to install in the punching apparatus.
- carrier plates for die making consist of multiplex boards from Neufurnier. These consist of at least 5 equally strong veneer layers of mostly beech, birch, spruce or maple with thicknesses of 0.5 - 2.5 mm. The plates are pressed with urea glue and cross-bonded. There are also multiplex panels from one Mixture of different types of wood used. These carrier plates have a high dynamic life.
- the invention has for its object to provide a support plate for a punch that can be produced with relatively low cost, however, has a high dynamic life, and in which can be formed with the help of a laser precisely fitting recesses.
- the support plate is formed on both sides with an outer layer of wood veneer.
