    characterized in that the fixing portion (44) is designed for engaging behind the opening (34).
  9. Frame beam (10) according to one of the claims 1 to 8,
    characterized in that the circumferential course of the cover (42) is formed in a manner corresponding to the circumferential course of the recess (33).
  10. Frame beam (10) according to one of the claims 1 to 9,
    characterized in that the sealing plug (40), for sealing the opening (20), bears on the rim (29) in such a manner that the cover (42) forms a recessed plane with respect to a jamb surface (17) of the frame beam (10) adapted to be turned away from the wall (4).
  11. Frame (1, 50), configured for being fixed to a jamb region of a doorway in a wall (4), characterized by at least one frame beam (10) according to one of the preceding claims.
  12. Frame (1, 50) according to claim 11, characterized in that said frame (1, 50) is a U-frame (10) or an E-frame (50).
  13. Method for fixing a frame beam (10) according to one of the claims 1 to 10 to a jamb region (4) of a doorway in a wall including an opening (20) for the passage of and/or access to a fixing means (31) to be introduced into the jamb (4), and holes (30) for fixing the frame beam within said jamb (4) which are provided in a rear sheet (13), the method comprising the following steps:
    a. making bores in the jamb (4) and positioning the holes (30) in front of the bores so that the holes (30) are aligned with said bores;
    b. passing the fixing means (31) through the openings and inserting the fixing means (31) into the holes (30); and
    c. sealing the openings (20) by inserting sealing plugs (40), wherein the sealing plugs (40) have a cover (42) and a fixing portion (44), wherein the openings (20) have a continuous rim (29) which for completely receiving said cover (42) is disposed in a recess (33), and wherein said fixing portion (44) engages at the rim (29) of the recess (33).
  14. Method according to claim 13, characterized in that there are applied a lacquer coat, or a top layer and a lacquer coat.
