Das bedeutet einerseits einen erhöhten Transportaufwand, und andererseits einen größeren Aufwand bei der eigentlichen Montage, beispielsweise durch zusätzlich benötigtes Werkzeug. Sollen Jalousien an eine Außenwand eines Gebäudes montiert werden und dies nicht ausschließlich im Erdgeschoß, wird zum Beispiel ein entsprechendes Gerüst benötigt. Eine schnelle und unkomplizierte Montage ist vor allem bei Arbeiten in großer Höhe wünschenswert.
