Description

The invention relates to a type of Munitionsbevorratung, which replaces as a circulating ammunition supply to the tower, a conventional ammunition magazine.

Are known ammunition magazines or the like for receiving ammunition, which are housed near the tower or in the tower itself. That's how it deals DE 195 26 664 A1 with a tower for a wheeled and tracked vehicle, which is provided with a weapon and a magazine. The attachment of the ammunition magazines laterally on a carriage is in the DE 101 60 216 C1 shown. Also the EP 1 715 281 B1 shows a lateral connection of at least two ammunition boxes on a carriage. In this case, each box can slide with respect to the side wall of the carriage, to move from an initial position to an end position, which is the one that was previously occupied by the other box after removing the other box. For this purpose, the last chain link of the first chain with the first chain link of the chain of the second box is connectable. A divided ammunition magazine with decoupled additional magazine reveals the EP 1 319 916 A2 , The split magazine is attached to the side of a weapon system.

The US 5,440,964 A concerns a transport system In an ammunition magazine. The endless chain of ammunition receiving conveyor chain is guided by the ammunition magazine over deflections and sprockets. In a certain position, the ammunition is transported out of the chain and fed to a weapon.

The CH 665 474 A5 describes a cartridge feeder from a stationary ammunition box to a pivotable about the elevation axis weapon. Here, the cartridges are fed in a stationary conveyor channel parallel to the elevation axis of the weapon and pivoted by a turntable by 90 °. This then pushes the cartridges into the gun. An endless conveyor chain is used to hold the ammunition, which is supplied in a transfer position of the weapon.

An ammunition magazine, which is preferably arranged in practice behind the tower, is in the DE 10 2004 031 773 B3 described in more detail.

The DE 897 28 353 T2 ( EP 0 840 085 B1 ) describes an ammunition feeder out of the tower. In particular, the storage of ammunition in the tower causes it to be large enough for the storage and supply of ammunition and for a crew. However, large towers have the disadvantage that they themselves are heavy and must be armored for the protection of the crew, which additionally increases the tower weight.

The invention has as its object to show a Munitionsbevorratung, which is stored neither in the tower nor in an ammunition magazine, this is the endeavor to make the tower structurally smaller.

The object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are shown in the subclaims.

The invention is based on the idea to integrate the ammunition storage around the tower, d. h., The ammunition is not included as a magazine behind or next to the tower, but placed circumferentially / circumferentially around the tower or guided. The stocking can be placed around the entire tower, i. in full or only partially.

This allows further development of the invention to incorporate a smaller protective cell, since the ammunition does not have to be stored in the tower. The protective cell may itself have a protective cover, depending on the protection requirement. By an additional protective cover around the outside of the tower mounted ammunition storage and protection of the ammunition is guaranteed.

In continuation of the idea, the otherwise stored in the tower assemblies, but which must not be in direct intervention by the operator, also outward between the protective cell and if present, the protective cover. Protection of these assemblies is ensured by the protective cover around the ammunition.

The circumferential ammunition feed is made in a simplest form by a simple conventional ammunition feed, if the weapon itself is strong enough to pull the ammunition. In the claimed form, however, it is provided to incorporate a drive, such as a motor, as well as a flexible guide, which is known per se. Here, the circumferential ammunition supply from a support, a Verdrehapparat, an associated manifold and the transport device and the preferably electromotive ammunition conveyor.

The transport device is in continuation of the invention, a circumferential infinite chain, which is movable in two directions (two axes). On the chain links downwardly projecting hooks are attached.

Reference to an embodiment with drawing, the invention will be explained in more detail.

Fig. 1 shows a tower 1 with a protective cell 2, a weapons system 3 and indicated operators 4. Side of the weapon 3 two ammunition types 5, this is usually at least two different types of ammunition supplied. The ammunition 5 is supplied to the weapon 3 from an ammunition storage 6 circulating the tower 1. The ammunition supply to the weapon is carried out in the preferred embodiment by a support 7, a twisting apparatus 8 and a manifold 9, which are functionally connected to the ammunition storage 6 ( Fig.2 ).

In Fig. 2 shown is the tower 1 with the circulating ammunition storage 6, which can be seen in more detail in the 3 and 4 is shown.

Das ermöglicht den Transport der Munition 5 um die Radien R des Turmes 1.The Munitionsbevorratung 6 has two ammunition channels 10, 11, in which different types of ammunition are deposited. The transport to the manifold 9 takes place in the preferred embodiment by means of a circulating chain 12. This is moved by an electric drive 13 ( Fig. 5 ). The peculiarity of this chain is that it is kept movable in two axes, so that it can be placed around the tower 1. This allows the transport of the ammunition 5 to the radii R of the tower. 1

In particular, in the case of a partially circumferential ammunition storage 6, the use of such a chain 12 is advantageous, since with this an endless chain can be created. A corresponding leadership of the chain 11 is the Fig. 5a removable. The chain 12 is guided around corresponding deflections 14 as an infinity chain, wherein the portion 12.1 spatially seen above the bottom recirculated chain section 12.2 runs.

Fig. 6 shows the tower with an outer and an inner guard 20, 22, which based Fig. 6a is explained in more detail. A threat 21 hits first on the outer protective jacket 20, then on the ammunition 5 and then only on the inner protective jacket 22 and thus on the protective cell 2 itself. In the design of the protective elements 22 of the protective cell 2, the upstream protective elements of the outer protective jacket 20 are taken into account , As a result, different protection classes can be individually adapted in coordination of the two protective sheaths 20, 22, the required protection requirements being taken into account.
