Description

The invention relates to an armored transport vehicle with the features of the preamble of claim 1.

In the document DE 196 48 348 A1 is a Schützenkampfwagen described with the features of the preamble of claim 1.

Armored transport vehicles are in the military field under the abbreviation "GTK" - eg as wheeled 6 x 6 and 8 x 8 with a particularly large overall height - in various embodiments well known. In the previously known armored transport vehicles each belonging to a specific vehicle type on-board machine gun was specified in the concept and the vehicle or the weapon receiving carriage were adapted in their construction to the training of the weapon and its caliber.

This has disadvantages, since the development period of such a vehicle from conception to the first production vehicle can extend over years and then the originally specified armament no longer meets the requirements at the time of series production. A change in the armament or the caliber at a later date causes high costs for the reconstruction of the gun carriage or on the vehicle itself. Furthermore, a stowage of equipment parts is often necessary and compliance with a weight limit difficult.

The invention has the object of providing an armored transport motor vehicle with the features specified in the preamble of claim 1 in such a way that can be installed with low installation effort on-board machine guns of different training and with different caliber in the vehicle. The overall concept of the vehicle should be adapted to this task.

The object is achieved according to the invention with the features of the characterizing part of claim 1. Advantageous development of the invention are described in the dependent claims.

A basic idea of the invention is, according to a modular carriage concept, to design the unmanned flat arrester tower, which represents the carriage of the on-board machine gun, in such a way that the trunnion axis and the turntable center on the vehicle remain the same for all weapon types provided and nevertheless the required straightening ranges in height and side be respected. In this case, the formation of the Turmscharte and the arrangement and the distance of the trunnions for receiving an on-board machine gun with the largest caliber provided is designed, and when receiving on-board machine guns with smaller calibers provided an adaptation device is turned on between the trunnion and the weapon mount.

As explained below on the basis of an exemplary embodiment, with this concept it is also possible to dispose the ammunition magazines and ammunition feeders in the same way for all weapon types as well as the height and side heading drive and the target and all-round viewing devices. According to the concept of the invention, the on-board machine gun is completely separated from the crew compartment, and the movements of the Schartenturms, the on-board machine gun and Other equipment arranged in the barn tower is operated remotely from the crew room. Furthermore, it is possible to arrange a likewise remotely operated machine gun laterally on the Schartenturm.

In the following an embodiment of an armored transport vehicle according to the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

It is of course possible here, at least partially, to provide crawler tracks. The vehicle is equipped with an on-board machine gun MW, and in the crew compartment of the vehicle pan, a commander, a weapons operator, a driver and other teams can be accommodated. The entry / exit can take place on the one hand via arranged in the roof area of the vehicle pan FW entry / exit hatches 14, 15 and 20 and 21 and it can also be provided in an unillustrated manner an exit door in the rear of the vehicle pan FW.

On the roof of the vehicle tub FW a flat fuselage tower 1 is arranged on a turntable 3, in whose slot 2 the on-board machine gun MW is led into it. The weapon mount 5 is suspended in trunnions 6. The Schartenturm 1 is unmanned and the on-board machine gun MW and all further devices and devices arranged in the ignition tower 1 are fembedient out of the interior of the vehicle trough FW, the electrical energy required for the remote control and the signals being transmitted via a slip ring 4 whose axis of rotation D1 coincides with the axis of the turntable 3.

The Schartenturm 1 can be designed and arranged so that its longitudinal center axis LM2 is arranged laterally offset relative to the longitudinal center axis LM1 of the vehicle pan.

The Schartenturm should be designed so that different on-board machine guns, especially those of very different caliber with the same position of the trunnions 6 and on the same turntable 3 can be arranged. For this purpose, the space available within the notch 2, and in particular the distance of the trunnions 6 and their position, are chosen such that a weapon with the largest 30 mm caliber provided can be suspended from the trunnion 6. Thus, the required straightening range of -10 ° to + 45 ° can be achieved for all types of weapons in question, the training is such that the vertical distance of the trunnion axis D2 of the roof top E1 of the vehicle pan FW is at least 490 mm and the horizontal distance in Direction of the longitudinal center axis LM2 of the Schartenturms 1 between a the trunnion axis D2-containing vertical plane E2 and the axis D1 of the turntable 3 is at most 30 mm. With these boundary conditions, it is possible to integrate all types of weapons provided in the Schartenturm 1. It is also possible in principle to integrate weapon types with an even larger caliber of, for example, 35 mm; but then it must be taken a restriction of the Richtbereiches in purchasing.

If other types of weapons with a smaller caliber are to be integrated into the counter tower, it is necessary, as described with reference to an embodiment variant shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, to interpose an adapter device between the trunnions and the weapon mount.

On both sides of the on-board machine gun MW or the weapon mount 5 ammunition magazines, such as drum magazines 7 and 8 are arranged within the flock tower 1, of which the ammunition weapon MW ammunition is supplied. Furthermore, within the flock tower 1 in the area laterally behind the weapon mount 5 on one side of a Höhenrichtantrieb 9 and on the other opposite side of a Seitenrichtantrieb 10 are arranged.

On one side wall of the Schartenturms 1 a machine gun MG is arranged outside. This is expediently carried out on the side at which the weapon operator WB is seated within the vehicle pan FW. On-board machine gun MW and machine gun MG are coupled to each other via a flexbelt drive 25 with respect to elevation, so that they are always aligned parallel to each other. The ammunition magazine 11 for the machine gun MG is arranged within the flock tower.

At the back of the Schartenturms 1 is a Rundblickperiskop 12, which, as indicated in Fig. 1, can be folded from a folded-back rest position into a dash-dotted outlook position.

Immediately below the on-board machine gun a sleeve and Gurtauffangvorrichtung 13 is arranged. As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, the places for the weapons operator WB and the commander KD in the vehicle trough FW are arranged in the area in front of the turret 1 on both sides of the longitudinal central axis LM1 of the vehicle trough. The entrance / exit hatches 14 and 15 are located above the two squares. Angle mirrors 16 and 17 serve as viewing devices for both squares and further operating devices 18 and 19 are provided. The entry / exit hatch 14 for the weapons operator WB is arranged so that it has access through the open hatch through the arrester tower to perform there special operations and maintenance can ammunition, troubleshooting. In front of the seats for the weapons operator WB and the commander KD a driver's seat 22 is arranged in the vehicle trough, above which a hatch with a look-ahead device 23 is located.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3, it is assumed that an on-board machine gun with a relatively large caliber of e.g. 30 mm suspended in the Schartenturm 1. In the embodiment variant shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, an on-board machine gun MW 'with a much smaller caliber of, for example, 20 mm is suspended in the arrester tower. The weapon mount 5 'of this on-board machine weapon MW is connected via an adaptation device with the trunnions 6. This is designed as a weighing trough 24, which is suspended on the trunnions 6. In the weighing trough 24, the weapon mount 5 'is held by receiving elements 24.1 and 24.2 adapted to its particular shape. At the front of the weighing trough 24, a diaphragm 26 is arranged. It is easy to see that the available in the Schartenturm 1 for receiving the on-board machine weapon space for the arrangement of on-board weapons weapons of different caliber is sufficient. Moreover, the equipment of the Schartenturms 1 is the same as in the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 3.

The basic housing of the Schartenturms 1 can be provided in a manner not specifically shown on its outside with an adapted to the respective threat additional protection.
