Claims (5)
- Heatable hairstyling appliance (1, 1'),- comprising a tongs (5) with two heatable arms (7, 7') connected together by way of a joint (6) and- a grip tip (16, 26) which is fastened to an end (15, 15') of at least one arm (7, 7') remote from the joint and is thermally insulated relative to a heating region (3) of the arm (7, 7'), wherein the grip tip (16, 26) in the closed state of the tongs (5) is rotatable relative to the joint (16),
characterised in that the grip tip (26) is of multi-part construction and has two grip tip halves (27, 27'), wherein in the opened state of the tongs (5) each half (27, 27') is associated with one of the arms (7, 7'). - Heatable hairstyling appliance (1, 1') according to claim 1, characterised in that one grip tip half (27) in the opened state of the tongs (5) is arranged to be fixed against rotation relative to the arm (7).
- Heatable hairstyling appliance (1, 1') according to claim 2, characterised in that the said grip tip half (27) which in the opened state of the tongs (5) is arranged to be secure against rotation relative to the arm is in the opened state of the tongs (5) fixed relative to the arm (7) by way of a fixing device (33).
- Heatable hairstyling appliance (1, 1') according to claim 3, characterised in that the fixing device (33) comprises a fixing pin (34) which is displaceably mounted in the grip tip half (27) and a lug (36) which is fastened to the opposite grip tip half (27') and co-operates with this fixing pin (34).
- Heatable hairstyling appliance (1, 1') according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the axis (18) of rotation of the grip tip (16, 26) is oriented collinearly with an axis (17) of symmetry of the arms (7, 7') fixed relative to one another in the closed state of the tongs (5).
