Definitions
- the present invention relates to a capsule filling machine for filling medicaments, comprising a cleaning device for cleaning the filling machine, which dispenses powdered or gel-like media, in particular medicaments, into capsules.
- Powdered or gelatinous medicaments are filled into capsules, for example by means of capsule filling machines.
- the capsules in this case have a lower part and an upper part, wherein the machine fills the lower part with the drug and in a next step, the upper part is slipped over the lower part.
- contamination of the machine may occur.
- the capsule filling machines are usually provided with a complete panel, wherein in the interior of Kapselfüllmaschine a slight negative pressure prevails to prevent any dangerous substances that are part of the medicine to be filled, get to the outside. Therefore, it is known to arrange stationary spray units inside the capsule filling machine, which are used for cleaning the machine.
- a plurality of spray units must be positioned, in such a way that no or only little spray shadow is formed in which no cleaning of the machine takes place.
- the capsule filling machines may have a relatively complex structure, so that a plurality of spray units must be installed in order to have as little as possible spray shadow. Therefore, the stationary cleaning units are very expensive and expensive.
- the arrangement of a plurality of spray units results in a double cleaning of a plurality of areas, so that consumption of detergent and wastewater is unnecessarily increased.
- DE 19958290 A1 such as EP 608191 A cleaning devices are known with rotatably arranged cleaning units. These are however intended for other applications.
- the capsule filling machine according to the invention with the features of patent claim 1 has the advantage that it significantly reduces the presence of a spray shadow, ie areas of a machine which can not or can not be well cleaned.
- the cleaning device can ensure that only a low consumption of cleaning medium is necessary and thus the amount of contaminated wastewater can be reduced.
- the cleaning device comprises a supply unit for supplying a cleaning medium, a cleaning unit which is connected to the supply unit, and a drive.
- the cleaning unit is mounted on a bearing and arranged rotatably about a rotational axis of the bearing.
- the drive is designed to rotate the cleaning unit about the axis of rotation of the bearing.
- the cleaning unit preferably comprises a ring element, wherein at least one spray arm with a spray opening for spraying the cleaning medium is arranged on the ring element.
- the ring element is therefore particularly preferably designed as a closed ring.
- the supply line unit further preferably comprises flexible lines, eg hoses.
- the supply unit can also supply the cleaning medium in a direction perpendicular to the cleaning unit, wherein the supply unit is arranged above the cleaning unit and the cleaning medium travels a short distance without guidance in a line between the supply unit and the cleaning unit.
- the cleaning device comprises a Zentrifugprüharm, which is disposed within the cleaning element, and which is separately connected to the supply line unit.
- the Zentrifugprüharm is also rotatably arranged.
- a rotation axis of the Zentrifugprüharms and a rotation axis of the ring member is arranged parallel to each other.
- the two axes of rotation of the Zentrifugprüharms and the ring element do not coincide.
- the Monsprüharm in particular has the advantage that a cleaning of components of the machine is now possible in a simple manner from two sides, since the Zentrifugprüharm can spray in a radial direction to the outside and the ring member can spray in a radial direction inwards.
- the cleaning device comprises a control device which is designed to control a rotation of the ring element independently of a rotation of the Zentrifugprüharms.
- the control device can in particular provide different rotational speeds and / or also provide different directions of rotation of the central spray arm and of the ring element.
- the control device can also determine, for example, at particularly heavily soiled areas of the machine that a larger amount of cleaning medium is sprayed out in this area, wherein the ring element and / or the central spray arm stops at a position.
- a plurality of spray arms in particular three spray arms, are arranged on the ring element.
- the ring element is not pivoted by 360 °, but only by an angular range which corresponds to the quotient of 360: number of spray arms.
- a rotation angle of 120 ° would be sufficient.
- the Zentrifugprüharm and / or each spray arm of the ring member at a free end comprises a rotation device on which a nozzle for spraying the cleaning medium is arranged.
- a rotation device on which a nozzle for spraying the cleaning medium is arranged.
- the rotation device is thereby rotated independently by a pressure of the cleaning medium.
- a plurality of nozzles are arranged at different positions in the respective longitudinal direction of the spray arms on the Zentrifugprüharm and / or the spray arms of the ring element. This makes it possible that a cleaning is performed on different levels.
- the Gottsprüharm is rotatably mounted on a bottom portion of a machine to be cleaned and the ring member is mounted on an upper portion, such as a lid, the machine to be cleaned.
- an independent rotation of the Zentrifugprüharms and the ring member can be performed in a simple manner.
- the cleaning device can be used without problems even in the presence of a negative pressure in a closed area of the filling machine. This avoids the risk of toxic substances escaping by opening the negative pressure area for cleaning.
- the rinsed away during cleaning toxic substances can be disposed of in a simple manner with the wastewater to be disposed of, without any risk to persons or the environment of the machine.
- FIGS. 1 to 4 a cleaning device 2 for a capsule filling machine 1 described in detail.
- FIG. 1 schematically shows a perspective view of a capsule filling machine 1, which fills drugs, especially in powder form, in capsules.
- the capsule filling machine 1 comprises four partially removable walls 9 and a bottom 10 and a lid, which is not shown in the figures.
- an interior 12 is formed, in which a plurality of components 11 are arranged, which take over the filling of the capsules.
- These components 11 are to be cleaned after filling a batch to remove impurities and / or contamination of the components 11.
- the capsule filling machine 1 after cleaning again for a new use, for example, another drug to be filled, usable.
- a negative pressure in the interior 12 is usually generated during filling.

- Each of the three spray arms 21, 22, 23 comprises at its free end a rotation element 21a, 22a, 23a on which a respective nozzle 6 is arranged.
- a plurality of further nozzles 6 are provided along the longitudinal direction of the spray arms 21, 22, 23, which are arranged in different radial directions on the spray arm.
- the cleaning unit 2 further comprises a Monsprüharm 24, which is arranged in the interior of the ring member 20.
- the Zentrifugprüharm 24 is rotatably mounted on a turntable 8.
- the Gotttrifugprüharm 24 rotates about a rotation axis D2.
- the ring element 20 is connected via a first connecting line 7a and a second connecting line 7b with a central to the ring member 20 arranged bearing 5.
- the bearing 5 essentially comprises a bush in which a shaft is mounted. At a middle region of the bearing 5, a connection 51 is arranged, via which the cleaning medium is supplied by means of the supply line unit 3.
- the port 51 is connected via a hose 32 with a pumping and storage unit 30 for storing the cleaning medium.
- a pumping and storage unit 30 for storing the cleaning medium.
- separate lines each go to the first connecting line 7a and on the other hand to the second connecting line 7b, which then feed the cleaning medium into the ring element 20.
- the bearing 5 is rotatably suspended from the lid of the machine, not shown, so that the ring member 20, as indicated by the double arrow B in FIG. 2 indicated, can turn in two directions.
- FIG. 1 the drive 4 with toothed belt and the pump and storage unit 30 with the hoses 31 and 32 not shown.
- a drive 4 is provided which, via a toothed belt 40, is engaged with a toothing 41 provided at one end of the shaft of the bearing 5 for rotation of the drive 4 on the shaft and over the connecting lines 7a, 7b to transfer to the ring member 20.
- the drive 4 is for example an electric motor.
- the two connecting lines 7a and 7b are arranged such that they face each other on the shaft.
- the drive 4 the toothed belt 40 can drive forward and backward, so that rotation of the ring member 20 in both directions is possible.
- the pump and storage unit 30 is further connected via a hose 31 to the Zentrifugprüharm 24.
- the Zentrifugprüharm 24 rotates, as indicated by the arrow C in FIG. 2 indicated, only in one direction. How out FIG. 2 it can be seen falling apart a rotational axis D1 of the ring member 20 and a rotation axis D2 of Monsprüharms 24 apart.
- the two axes of rotation D1 and D2 are arranged parallel to each other.
- FIG. 4 shows in section the transfer of the cleaning medium from the hose 31 to the rotatably arranged Monsprüharm 24.
- the Konsprüharm 24 has at its upper portion a flange-like extension 24a, which is located at a small distance in the radial direction to the tube 31.
- the tube 31 is slightly inserted into the flange-like extension 24a.
- the Zentrifugprüharm 24 can rotate freely and still carry out a transfer of the cleaning medium, without a constant leakage in the free area between the Monsprüharm 24 and the tube 31 occurs.
- a diameter of the ring element 20 is chosen such that the ring element is as large as possible and close to the protective walls 9 of the capsule filling machine 1 is located. In this way it can be ensured that most of the components 11 to be cleaned of the capsule filling machine are located radially inside the ring element 20.
- the spray arms 21, 22, 23 of the ring element 20 can spray in the radial direction from outside to inside, wherein the spray direction can also be changed by the rotation elements 21a, 22a, 23a of the spray arms 21, 22, 23 or the spray direction during the cleaning process continuously changes, as the rotation elements turn automatically by the pressure of the cleaning agent.
- the spray direction of Gottsprüharms 24 is mainly from the inside out, so that the components to be cleaned 11 are sprayed from different directions. This can ensure that during the cleaning no spray shadow, ie, a region of the capsule filling machine, which can not be sprayed with the cleaning medium, occurs.
- a control device, not shown, of the cleaning unit 2 can in this case execute the driving of the ring element 20 and the central spray arm 24 such that a rotation is carried out with the same or different speeds or a rotation is made only over predetermined angular ranges.
- the ring member 20 has three spray arms 21, 22, 23, rotation of the ring member 20 can be restricted to an angle of 120 °, since then each of the spray arms 21, 22, 23 covers a sector of 120 °, so that Spraying the 120 ° sector can be a reversal of the direction of rotation.
- the control device can ensure that the cleaning medium can also be applied specifically to particularly heavily soiled areas, wherein in extreme cases an interruption of a rotational movement can be made.
- a speed of movement of the cleaning unit can be increased. Also by the self-rotating elements 21a, 22a, 23a at the end of the spray arms 21, 22, 23 ensures that the components 11 of the capsule filling machine can be sprayed from various directions.
- a cleaning of the capsule filling machine can be done much faster, so that downtime of the machine due to cleaning of the machine can be reduced. Also, by avoiding spray a significantly improved cleaning effect can be achieved. Furthermore, the cleaning device according to the invention also allows that the cleaning agent to be used can be minimized, which also makes a reduced amount of wastewater, which can be contaminated after cleaning, possible.
