Definitions

  • the invention relates to a profile element in particular for producing a facade cladding for buildings, which is at least peripherally made of a metallic material, at least comprising a groove portion of a length b with a groove, a spring portion of a length a with a spring and a base extending therebetween, the lying in a plane E, wherein the groove portion is made by bending over of the metallic material, and wherein the spring has a vertical distance x from the plane E of the base surface, so that the groove of a second profile element was pushed onto the spring of a first profile element.
  • the invention also includes a facade cladding, consisting of a plurality of profile elements of the aforementioned type. Profile elements for cladding facades are known from the prior art in large numbers.
  • z. B the US 3,706,172 a cladding according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • DE 77 31 578 revealed in Fig. 3 a flat facade panel, in which tongue and groove are made by forming the material of the facade panel. Between the groove and the spring area extends a base surface which lies in a plane, wherein the groove region has a certain length and the profile element has a height h.
  • Several of these known profile elements can be to a Façade clothing to be assembled.
  • the spring portion of a first facade element is inserted into the groove portion of a second facade element and in this way two facade elements are connected together.
  • the groove portion of the known profile element on a mounting edge can be introduced into the fastener, so that the profile element can be attached to the substructure or the building exterior wall. If several profile elements are joined together, the result is a cladding that does not show any visible fasteners.
  • the type of installation of these profiles requires a top-to-bottom installation - horizontal laying - so that there is no guarantee that the connection will be made exactly because the processor can no longer control the exact connection of the tongue and groove ,
  • profiled elements according to the invention are also worked from the bottom upwards and the fastening of the profiled element to the substructure or the building exterior wall is carried out with the spring directed upwards, the formation of water esters is prevented and corrosion in the area of the connecting means of the individual profiled elements is counteracted.
  • the area covered is preferably suitable for providing recesses, preferably in the form of bores, or deformations, preferably in the form of a bead, a grain or a marking.
  • the production of the base panel is preferably ensured by forming by means of folding machine, edge press or roll former, whereby non-ferrous metals can be used with a material thickness of 0.5 to 2.5 mm. After production of the base panel results in a reform vomitok of 350 mm. Two 140 mm wide panel panels are separated by a 40/20 mm joint. It was but not excluded that different materials are used, wherein the edge is provided at least on one side of a metal.
  • the resulting geometry achieves a panel-like appearance.
  • the installation directions of the system are horizontal from bottom to top or vertical without directional specification, while "panel on panel” is inserted and fixed. This ensures that, in contrast to traditional tongue and groove systems, the panels are completely inserted and a levering or incomplete insertion is impossible.
  • the attachment is preferably carried out directly in pre-punched or drilled holes in the upper part of the panels by screws with sealing washer. Additional holders or followers are not necessary. By "placing" the next row of panels, the fastenings of the underlying row of panels are covered and thus are not visible. However, it is not excluded that a bonding of the panels takes place on a flat substrate.

Due to the particular embodiment of the connecting means, tongue and groove, which are formed by edge edges of one and the same piece of sheet metal advantageously a thin sheet for the production of the profile elements according to the invention can be used.
  • the groove of the profile element according to the invention is equipped so that a joining and securing to thrust is achieved.
  • an optical coverage of the fasteners is achieved even when connecting a plurality of inventive profile elements, so that a visually appealing image of a facade can arise, which is not disturbed by fasteners.
  • the fasteners are effectively protected from the weather in this way.
  • the groove portion may have at the one end of the profile element according to the invention an angled end piece, which serves to further protect the fastener and which is bent in the direction of the fastener. Furthermore, the optically uniform overall impression of the facade can be achieved with parallel recesses of the same width by the angled tail. This angled tail is also made by edging the metallic material. It has been shown that an angle of the end piece of approximately 130 ° with respect to the plane E is selected for optimal discharge of the rainwater.
  • the invention provides for the profile element to be designed with at least one second recess between the groove area and the spring area.
  • the profile element according to the invention preferably has a second recess for this purpose.
  • the invention provides that the second wells have a length l 2 , which is smaller than the length l 1 of the first recess.
  • the length l 2 is selected such that after the assembly of a facade cladding from a plurality of the profile elements according to the invention, there is an optically uniform image of the individual recesses. In this case, both the second depressions and the regions of the first depressions covered by the groove region of a profile element are uniformly formed.
  • first and / or second depressions are trapezoidal in cross-section. Due to the sloping surfaces, an improved outflow of rainwater can be brought about.
  • the trapezoidal angle is 130 ° to the plane E of the base of the metallic material.
  • the recesses which are suitable for the implementation of fastening means are designed as bores, which may have both round and square or oval or other shapes.
  • fasteners are particularly suitable screws or nails.
