Die für die Folienführung erforderlichen Einrichtungen der Transferfolien nahe der Folienvorratsrolle bzw. Foliensammelrolle sind mit dem Beschichtungsmodul verbunden. Lediglich im Bereich der Verschutzung der Druckwerke sind entsprechende Ein- bzw. Auslässe für die Zuführung der Transferfolie 5 zum bzw. die Rückführung der Transferfolie 5 vom Presszylinder 3 vorgesehen. Überlagernd dazu kann in einem folgenden Auftragwerk 1 ein weiteres, das erste einschließende oder überlagernde Klebermuster aufgetragen und in einem zweiten Beschichtungsmodul 2 mit einer Metallisierungsschicht einer zweiten Art versehen werden. Claims (5)
- A device for the transfer of imaging layers from a carrier foil, which jointly form a transfer foil (5), on printed sheets at least comprising one application unit (1) for an image-wise coating of the printed sheets with an adhesive and comprising a coating module (2) for transferring the imaging layers from the carrier foil onto the printed sheet in a transfer gap (6) between an impression cylinder (4) and a press roller (3), wherein the carrier foil can be guided through the transfer gap (6) with the coated side being in contact with the printed sheet together with the latter and the imaging layers can be transferred onto the printed sheet thereby in an image-wise manner, wherein the coating module (2) as assembly comprises a device for the feeding of a fresh foil web from a storage and for the disposal of used foil web, and has means for guiding the foil web towards the transfer gap (6) and away from the transfer gap (6) and the coating module (2) can be assigned to the application unit (1) in such a manner that the coating module (2) can be placed in any positions of the machine within the sheet processing machine, which receives the coating module (2),
characterized in
that the coating module (2) or integrated coating module (2) is designed as attachment unit for a substructure of a printing mechanism (D) consisting of a frame, a sheet transport drum, an impression cylinder (4) and/or a form cylinder (20) and/or a blanket cylinder (13), and in that the press roller (3) is designed as form cylinder (20) or blanket cylinder (13) interacting with the impression cylinder (4) for guiding the transfer foil (5) in the transfer gap (6), and in that the coating module (2) is furthermore part of a printing mechanism (D) or of a coating module or of a further processing unit of a sheetfed offset printing press. - The device according to claim 1, characterized in that the coating module (2) forms an assembly comprising a device for receiving at least one foil storage roll (8) and at least one foil collection roll (9) comprising drives, wherein guide elements for steering and tensioning the foil web are provided within the sheet processing machine, which receives the coating module (2), in the region of the discharge or feeding, respectively, of the foil web from the region of the foil rolls (8, 9).
- The device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the sheet processing machine is a printing press comprising a plurality of printing mechanisms (D) for generating a colored printout and that the coating module (2) is arranged upstream of, arranged in-between or arranged downstream from the printing mechanisms (D).
- The device according to claim 1, 2 or 3, characterized in that the coating module (2) is designed as foil transfer module in the manner of a portable unit, which can be coupled to a printing mechanism (D).
- The device according to claim 1 to 4, characterized in that a plurality of printing mechanisms (D) are arranged one after the other within a sheet processing machine, that a turning device (W) for turning over printed sheets for the front and back side printing is arranged between at least two of the printing mechanisms (D), and that a coating module (2) is arranged downstream from the turning device.
