Definitions

  • the invention relates to a drain valve for a cistern, comprising a housing provided with a valve seat defining an outlet opening, an overflow pipe provided at its lower end with a seal cooperating with the valve seat, an upper float fixed or fixable on the overflow pipe a lower float supported by a cantilevered cantilever on the housing, and having a triggering device for selectively actuating a partial flush or full flush, the cantilever defining a stop on which the overflow tube is in a raised position associated with a full flush rests on him provided projection, wherein the boom is provided with a lever, by the actuation of the stop on which the projection of the overflow pipe is seated in a full flush associated position, the seated projection is withdrawn, and wherein the lever with the under Float is connected in such a way that the lever is actuated by the lower float.
  • Such a two-volume drain valve is from the DE 20 2006 016 050 U1 known.
  • a lever is rigidly attached to the boom connected to the lower float (control float).
  • the stop on which the projection of the overflow pipe is seated in the position assigned to a full flush By operating the lever by means of a Bowden cable or the like, the stop on which the projection of the overflow pipe is seated in the position assigned to a full flush, withdrawn the seated projection. In this way, according to the so rinse-stop technique a full flush be prematurely terminated.
  • the present invention has for its object to improve a drain valve of the type mentioned in terms of the reliability of the function of his Steuerschwimmers.
  • the drain valve according to the invention is characterized in that the lever connected to the lower float (control float), by the actuation of the stop on which the projection of the overflow pipe in the full flush associated position, the seated projection is withdrawn pivotally mounted on the boom is.
  • a mechanically simple and particularly reliable embodiment of the drain valve according to the invention is characterized in that the lever has at least one projection with which the lever presses against the overflow pipe or a guide rib formed on the overflow pipe when the lever by a lowering movement of the lower float relative to the Overflow pipe is loaded.
  • the at least one projection of the lever is arranged below the stop of the arm, on which the overflow pipe is seated in a raised position associated with a full flush through the projection provided on the overflow pipe. This can be in functional as well Manufacturing technology, a simple, compact and reliable lever mechanism to release the overflow pipe in the raised, realize a full flush assigned position.
  • a further preferred embodiment of the drain valve according to the invention is characterized in that the boom is provided with at least one second stop, which limits a pivotal movement of the lever caused by floating of the lower float relative to the boom. As a result, entrainment of the boom is enforced by the lever connected to the lower float during the floating of the lower float.
  • This design is constructionally simple and reliable.
  • Another preferred embodiment of the drain valve according to the invention provides that the lever is provided with at least one stop, which limits a gravity-induced pivoting movement of the lever relative to the boom. By limiting the pivoting of the lever relative to the boom assembly of these components in the housing of the drain valve is facilitated or prevents tilting of the components within the housing during assembly.
  • the drain valve 1 shown in the drawing is a so-called two-volume drain valve, with both a full flush and a small flush (partial flush) can be triggered.
  • the drain valve has a container-like housing part 2, of which in Fig. 1 a resulting by a vertical section half is shown.

  • two attack elements (attack points) 3.1 are formed for lifting the overflow pipe.
  • the attack elements 3.1 are formed as radially projecting from the outside of the overflow pipe 3 pins.
  • the drain valve 1 is provided with an upper float 5 and a lower float (control float) 6.
  • the upper float 5 is fixed in height adjustable at the overflow pipe 3. It is located at full cistern below the water level and is dimensioned so that it is in the dipped state after briefly raising the overflow pipe 3 from the closed position according to Fig. 2 by its buoyancy force the drain valve opens independently, that raises the overflow pipe 3 either in a partial flush or full flush associated position.
  • the float 5 retains its set position relative to the overflow pipe 3 both in a partial flush and in a full flush.
  • the optional triggering of a full flush or partial flush can be carried out in the two-volume drain valve 1 according to the invention, in particular via a Bowden cable drive (not shown). Instead of a Bowdenzugausher, other trigger mechanisms can be used in the drain valve 1 according to the invention. It is essential that the overflow pipe for the full flush is freely raised, while the floating height of the overflow pipe 3 is limited for the partial flushing.
